Seventh Gate without injury 202 His improved physique can sustain the Seventh Gate without injury. He uses only five Gates against Saint Charlos’s bodyguards.
Night Guy exceeds the Pirate World’s tolerance 211 At Six Paths level, his Eighth Gate attack tears a rift between worlds. Shengyi senses an energy fluctuation extremely close to plane level; this is an attack output, not a confirmed permanent realm advancement.

Appearance

  • Normal features: Black hair and eyebrows 124.
  • Squad uniform: Black clothing bearing the Uchiha fan emblem, matching his subordinates 88 90.
  • Fifth Gate: Swollen muscles and prominent veins 202.
  • Seventh Gate: Surrounded by blue sweat vapor 124.
  • Eighth Gate: Blood-red vapor, red hair and eyebrows, upward-streaming hair, and eyes showing only their whites 124.

Personality

Leiming is an aggressive, competitive fighter who actively seeks powerful opponents. He asks to fight the Fourth Raikage alone, claims Imu as his opponent, and competes with Madara for the chance to challenge Yamamoto. He prefers opening with his strongest attack rather than testing an enemy, favoring Night Guy over Evening Elephant for its overwhelming force and spectacle 121 125 211 238.

His loyalty to the Uchiha is accompanied by extreme ruthlessness. He orders the extermination of entire households, insists on pursuing targets protected by the daimyo, and later commands the annihilation of the Land of Iron’s remaining population. He rejects the Celestial Dragons’ claims to divinity, declaring that only the Uchiha deserve the title of “God Clan” 88 90 144 202.

Outside battle, he is boastful and frequently ridiculous in ways that embarrass his companions. He welcomes Shengyi home with a party popper and extravagant praise, declares a Sabaody street his territory, and eats unfamiliar fruit and mushrooms despite Leidong’s warnings about poison 143 199 201.

Abilities & Skills

God’s Blessing — Comprehensive Enhancement

One of Leiming’s Mangekyō techniques improves his capabilities across multiple categories 60.

  • Enhances physique, speed, reflexes, chakra reserves, and ninjutsu power.
  • Has no fixed duration while sufficient eye power remains.
  • Shares its name with his separate state-locking technique.

God’s Blessing — Positive-State Lock

His second technique fixes his current positive condition in place and prevents negative status effects for three minutes 60.

  • Allows him to use the normally fatal Gate of Death without suffering its lethal outcome during the protected interval 124 125.
  • Supports repeated use of Night Guy within that interval, described as “Infinite Night Guy” 125.
  • After killing A, he deactivates the technique, returns to his normal physical condition, and automatically exits the Gate of Death state 125.
  • Its synergy with fatal forbidden techniques prompts Shengyi to recommend both the Eight Gates and Reaper Death Seal; mastery of the latter is not confirmed 60.

Eight Gates and Taijutsu

Leiming masters all Eight Gates and makes close-range physical combat the center of his fighting style 121 163.

  • Uchiha Style: Wave Strong Fist: Used with the Fourth Gate to intercept A’s Lariat, though the impact sends him crashing through trees 122.
  • Gate of Wonder: Raises his strength enough to even out his fight with A, but does not initially let him match A’s speed 124.
  • Gate of Death: Provides enough speed to intercept A after the Raikage attempts to leave their duel 124.
  • Improved endurance: By the Sabaody confrontation, he can open the Seventh Gate without injury 202.

Night Guy

Leiming’s preferred finishing move concentrates the Eighth Gate’s power into a fatal kick, shaping the surrounding red vapor into a dragon and warping space 125.

  • Obliterates Fourth Raikage A in their final clash, leaving only a fragment of his metal belt 125.
  • Becomes vastly stronger after Leiming reaches Six Paths level 211.
  • Tears open a rift between worlds during his attack on Imu; her body and soul are annihilated after she is sent into it 211.
  • The attack’s energy fluctuation draws Shengyi and Hikari to the battlefield 211.

Susanoo

Leiming manifests a pale yellow Susanoo, demonstrated in half-bodied and close-fitting armored forms 91 202.

  • Destroys Chiriku’s chakra Guanyin defense and kills him with one punch 91.
  • Blocks the gunfire of Saint Charlos’s surviving guard leader 202.
  • Its large form struggles to strike Asuma’s small, remotely controlled chakra blades 91.

Sharingan Genjutsu

Although not especially proficient in genjutsu, Leiming can exploit the Sharingan’s inherent illusion abilities 91.

  • Alters part of Asuma’s perception while Asuma controls his chakra blades.
  • Creates an opening for another Uchiha to stab and behead Asuma.

Other Techniques

  • Earth Release: Turns over scorched ground, buries evidence of battle, and compacts destroyed estates into empty lots 89.
  • Body Flicker Technique: Evades Asuma’s Dust Wind Technique 91.
  • Finger-fired energy attack: Gathers energy at his index finger and destroys Saint Charlos’s head 202.
  • Collective eye-power reinforcement: Helps Shisui and the others empower Gyuki into a gigantic, multicolored armored form for the attack on Mary Geoise 210.

Equipment / Items

  • Uchiha squad uniform: Black uniform displaying the clan’s fan emblem 88 90.
  • Storage scrolls: Used by his expedition to confiscate valuables. His group leaves the daimyo’s residence carrying enormous scrolls approximately half a person’s height 88 92.
  • Power Level Scouter: Used to assess Saint Charlos; it identifies a humanoid life-form but cannot register a power level for him 202.

Relationships

  • Leidong — Brother and fellow squad captain. Serves as Leiming’s deputy during the destruction of the Land of Iron and accompanies him in the Pirate World; he frequently reacts with embarrassment or concern to Leiming’s behavior 144 199 201.
  • Shengyi — Superior and later emperor. Recognizes the potential of Leiming’s eye techniques, directs his forbidden-technique training, and appoints him head of the Assassination Division 60 144.
  • Uchiha Fugaku — Clan leader and field commander. Gives Leiming the orders that lead to the capital purge and receives his report about the daimyo’s accidental death 88 92 121.
  • Shisui, Yanren, Mu, and Gyuki — Traveling companions in Group Four. Explore the Pirate World together and cooperate in the assault on Mary Geoise 199 200 210.
  • Madara Uchiha — Rival for desirable opponents. Leiming is frustrated when Madara also claims Yamamoto, recognizing that Madara’s strength and prestige make the dispute difficult 238.

Story Role / Major Arcs

Purge of the Land of Fire’s Capital

As Ninth Squad captain, Leiming reports the capture of spies investigating the Uchiha Clan’s needs and earnings. Fugaku orders him to identify their employers and eliminate them. Leiming disposes of the spies, selects thirty subordinates, and travels openly to the capital 88.

His force destroys nine wealthy households in less than ninety minutes, confiscating their valuables, killing their inhabitants, and leveling the estates. They also loot and burn the deserted residences of the daimyo’s nephew and son-in-law before Chiriku escorts Leiming to the daimyo 88 89.

Negotiations collapse when the daimyo demands the seized wealth and a thirty-percent stake in the Uchiha Factory, while Leiming insists on taking his two remaining targets. In the ensuing fighting, Leiming kills Kazuma and Seito, crushes Chiriku with Susanoo, and uses genjutsu to enable Asuma’s death 90 91.

The daimyo is killed by one of Asuma’s chakra blades, which Leiming had punched away after Asuma was stabbed. Leiming loots and destroys the residence before returning to report the accidental killing to Fugaku. News of the incident spreads rapidly among the other countries and shinobi villages 91 92.

Duel with the Fourth Raikage

During Fugaku’s campaign against Kumogakure, Leiming volunteers to fight A alone. He begins at a disadvantage but progressively opens more Gates, eventually fighting on even terms with the Seventh Gate 121 122 124.

When A attempts to rescue Killer B, Leiming activates God’s Blessing and opens the Gate of Death to intercept him. Their final clash pits Night Guy against Hell Stab: One-Finger Nukite. Leiming destroys A, survives unharmed through his state-locking technique, and is cheered by the allied shinobi 124 125.

Imperial Appointment and the Land of Iron

Shengyi appoints Leiming to lead the Assassination Division, one of three independent divisions reporting directly to the emperor. He then names Leiming commander of the final campaign against the Land of Iron, with Leidong as deputy 144.

Their force consists of fifty Mangekyō Sharingan users and ten thousand jonin. After splitting the army, Leiming completes the extermination of everyone outside the imperial forces within three days. The Land of Iron’s destruction on December 31, Konoha Year 54 completes the Uchiha Empire’s unification of the Shinobi World 144.

Ancient Ruins Expedition

Leiming joins Fugaku, Hikari, Shisui, Itachi, Mu, Yanren, Tsunade, Minato, and Orochimaru in exploring ancient ruins to surpass their limits. The participants leave blood vials behind before Kaguya teleports them to their destinations. Leiming is subsequently confirmed to have reached Six Paths level, following a path centered on physical power 159 163.

Pirate World Campaign

Leiming accompanies Shengyi into the Pirate World and kicks down Arlong Park’s gate during their confrontation with the Fish-Men. He later travels with Group Four, sampling the Forest of Temptation’s unusual food before the group visits Sabaody 170 199 200.

At Sabaody, Saint Charlos orders the group arrested for refusing to kneel. Leiming kills most of his bodyguards with five Gates, breaks Charlos’s arm, and executes him with an energy shot despite warnings of retaliation by a Marine Admiral 202.

Impatient with waiting for an opponent, Leiming proposes having an empowered Gyuki attack Mary Geoise. The assault draws out Imu, whom Leiming kills with a world-rending Night Guy. Shengyi then gathers the imperial forces to take over the Pirate World 209 210 211 212.

During the transition, Shengyi sends Leiming against an alliance of underworld rulers and great pirates. When Shanks intervenes to request mercy, Leiming refuses, sinking him, the Red Hair Pirates, and their ship along with the defeated opposition 213.

Bleach World

Upon arriving during the Battle of Karakura Town, Leiming immediately seeks a fight with Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto, only for Madara to claim the same opponent 238.

Near the novel’s end, he hopes to challenge the Soul King. Seeing the Soul King’s severely disabled condition leaves him stunned, and he departs with Shengyi and the others without fighting him 307.
