Earth and the Heavenly Chat Group

Before entering cultivation, Ye Fan is a university graduate occupied with his career. He joins the Heavenly Chat Group while arriving for a class reunion, initially imagining that his new opportunity will help him become a technology magnate. Jiang Xian instead reveals that he is the protagonist of Shrouding the Heavens and shares information about his future 2 3.

His first concern after reading that future is preventing his parents’ deaths during his absence from Earth. Jiang Xian supplies two longevity potions, which Ye Fan divides into four half-doses for his parents and Xu Qiong’s parents. He promises the elders that he and Xu Qiong will return within thirty years. Xu Qiong chooses to accompany him into cultivation despite the danger 4.

Ye Fan then helps establish the Fenglingyueying Sect with Jiang Xian, Xiao Yan, Fang Han, and Shi Hao. All five adopt the rank of outer disciple, leaving outsiders to speculate about the sect’s higher ranks 5.

Journey to the Big Dipper

Jiang Xian joins Ye Fan and Xu Qiong before their Mount Tai climb. When the Nine Dragons Pulling the Coffin descends, Ye Fan urges his classmates to escape; more than half leave before the remaining travelers are drawn into the bronze coffin. He organizes a roll call and counts thirteen passengers, including his childhood friend Pang Bo 6 7.

On Mars, Ye Fan receives the Bronze Eternal Lamp from Jiang Xian and discovers a Bodhi Seed beneath a withered Bodhi Tree. During the subsequent journey, the seed helps him enter enlightenment beside the inner coffin, where he comprehends an incomplete Immortal-Domain scripture 8 9.

After reaching the Desolate Ancient Forbidden Land, he shares Sacred Fruits and Divine Spring water with the chat group and his fellow travelers. He also warns the survivors not to disclose their journey across the stars and plans separate cultivation destinations for them 9.

Lingxu Cave Heaven and Qing Emperor’s Tomb

At Lingxu Cave Heaven, Ye Fan initially struggles to open his Bitter Sea because of his Sacred Body. An Immortal Blood Pill overcomes that obstacle and carries him directly to the Life Spring Realm. When Elder Han begins watching him with obvious greed, Ye Fan leaves with Pang Bo and Jiang Xian, deliberately giving the elder an opportunity to follow. Elder Han attacks, intending to refine him into a pill, but dies from a single slap 18 24 25.

At Qing Emperor’s Tomb, Ye Fan obtains a Dao Scripture fragment and Qing Emperor’s Heart. He later acquires a Green Copper fragment and keeps a King’s Divine Weapon taken from Duan De after Jiang Xian declines it. During the expedition, he also asks a Yaochi Sacred Land representative to assess Xu Qiong and his other female companions for admission 27 28.

Demon Race Alliance and the Bronze Immortal Palace

After reaching the Dao Palace Secret Realm, Ye Fan approaches Yan Ruyu with Jiang Xian and Pang Bo. He negotiates an exchange: he will provide essence blood from Qing Emperor’s Heart, while Yan Ruyu will lend him the Azure Emperor’s Weapon when needed. Jiang Xian subsequently makes her branch of the Demon Race an affiliate of the Fenglingyueying Sect 41 42 44.

Ye Fan then explores the Bronze Immortal Palace with Jiang Xian while Pang Bo remains behind to cultivate. His Green Copper fragment protects him from the palace’s bloody “immortal” character and absorbs the root source of the Xuanhuang Mother Qi. Clumsy Peak and the Ji Family Conflict

Ye Fan enters the Taixuan Sect specifically to obtain Clumsy Peak’s inheritance. Ye Fan is protective of his family and committed to Xu Qiong. He also refuses to leave Pang Bo behind when departing Lingxu Cave Heaven 4 6 25.

He readily shares valuable resources rather than keeping every advantage for himself. His contributions include Sacred Fruits, Divine Spring water, cultivation scriptures, access to his Bodhi Seed, and Xuanhuang Mother Qi 9 11 47 48.

Toward enemies, he is calculating and increasingly uncompromising.
