Meanwhile, Uchiha Yashiro’s team successfully placed the Land of Water’s Daimyō under genjutsu, but their discussion of the Daimyō’s power left Yashiro stumped.

• Yakushi Nonō followed Aburame Ryoma and the Root Ninja to headquarters, where Takahashi Yū’s presence and the unusual decorations shocked her.

• Ōnoki and the Third Raikage left Konoha after Danzo’s revolt led the Third Hokage to announce his resignation and Root-led protests to disperse.
• The Third Raikage decided to retire upon returning home and considered Kumogakure’s next leadership.
• Yakushi Nonō boarded a noble’s sailing ship to enter the Land of Water through the Bloody Mist blockade.

Terai aimed to isolate the Land of Water’s nobles by manipulating their correspondence and relationships before Danzo and Fugaku arrived.

• Yashiro and the Uchiha team met Terai and Nonō at the harbor and received orders from Fugaku to follow Root’s lead.
• Terai explained that the Daimyō, finance minister, and Military Affairs Office were under Genjutsu, then assigned one Uchiha to maintain it while the others destroyed the marked Underground Black Market locations and made the attacks look like Kirigakure’s work.

• Wuren stopped a frightened villager and asked him to guide the Kaguya clan through the forest.
• The villager explained that ninja had barred civilians from fishing, destroyed their boats, and killed people who went to the shore.
• Wuren gave the villager food and hurried off with his clansmen toward the destination the villager had indicated.
• Wuren sensed the Haku nearby, halted the group, and told his clansmen to wake Takahashi Yū for popsicles.

Takahashi Yū led the Kaguya clan into battle against the Yuki clan, whose Clan Head, Cui Zhi, froze the grounds and organized a defense. Takahashi smashed through their ice barricade, and as the clans clashed, Cui Zhi attacked him with an explosive ice trick.

• The Yuki clan mistook the Kaguya members’ unusual clothes for evidence of a robbery as both sides gathered for another fight.
• Cui Zhi used Ice Release: Cold Wind to freeze the battlefield, and Takahashi Yū rallied the Kaguya with Killing Intent Link.
• Cui Zhi and the Yuki front line raised interlocking ice pillars into a barricade and thrust it toward the charging Kaguya.
• Takahashi Yū blasted through the ice wall with Dump Truck Charge, sending shards into the Yuki ranks and causing heavy casualties.

As more Kaguya fighters arrived, he sent the Bone Freaks to deal with them and hurried toward the Yuki clan grounds to obtain a map of the Land of Water.

• Takahashi Yū broke free of Cui Zhi’s ice and shattered Cui Zhi’s right leg with an axe kick.
• The Yuki Clan’s elite rescued Cui Zhi with Ice Release techniques, and Cui Zhi surrendered on behalf of his clan.
• Takahashi Yū noticed a finger bone felt wrong, while Wuren showed him that his hand had become translucent.

• Takahashi Yū renamed Haku Cuizhi “Aokiji” and had him activate Danzo’s summoning scroll to send a letter about the Naruto plot and people Danzo should watch.

After their hosts died and the beasts emerged, he redirected their Tailed Beast Bombs into a massive explosion near Kirigakure, leaving Genji and the surviving ninja stunned.

• Takahashi Yū massacred the Kirigakure ninja serving as bait and confronted the Six-Tails and Three-Tails Jinchūriki.
• The two Jinchūriki entered partial Tailed Beast forms and attacked Takahashi Yū, who seized them and invaded their minds and sealed beasts with killing intent.
• The Jinchūriki lost consciousness and died as the Six-Tails and Three-Tails broke free and rampaged in their perfect forms.

• Takahashi Yū woke in Rōran and reunited with Brother Danzo, who explained that the Dragon Vein had been sealed gradually and that two months had passed.
• Danzo told Takahashi Yū that Gekko Hayate had been born and that it was December 25, Year 40 of Konoha.
• Takahashi Yū saw Rasa’s head on Rōran’s wall and learned that Tobirama Number One and pot poison had turned much of the Land of Wind into a deadly purple wasteland while Sunagakure remained surrounded.

Uchiha Fugaku and Uchiha Setsuna struggled to govern Konoha as Acting Hokage after Shikaku took time off, so they summoned the Uchiha elders to help. Late that night, Fugaku and the elders went to the Nara compound, claiming they had come to inspect Shikaku's will of fire.

• Fugaku sat as Acting Hokage while Setsuna advised him, and the two struggled with Konoha's affairs without Shikaku's guidance.
• Fugaku told Setsuna that Shikaku had taken half a day off and the Nara Clan Head had complained about child labor.
• Setsuna summoned the Uchiha elders, who joined him and Fugaku in reviewing an application and arguing in the Hokage's office.
• Fugaku and the Uchiha elders arrived at the Nara Clan Compound late at night and startled the Nara Clan Head.

• The instructors agreed to switch to Might Duy’s teaching plan, and Duy responded with an emotional shout of “So! Youth! Ful!”

Jiraiya and Hiruzen Sarutobi found him at a massage parlor, where Jiraiya dropped to his knees and begged Dan to write a book.

• Black Zetsu drank Tsunade’s bitter secret medicine and rebuffed her attempts to prompt Dan Katō’s memories.

• Takahashi Yū carried Danzo and the bone brutes at high speed toward the Land of Wind's border.
• Uchiha Fugaku and the Uchiha elders discussed rigging the academy tournament while Shikaku Nara handled paperwork and rejected three applications.

• Two bearded Chunin recognized the approaching, blood-scented dust cloud as Takahashi Yū’s return and sent word to the village.
• Takahashi Yū left Danzo and the Bone Brutes near Konoha’s gate, then slipped into the Farm through a hidden entrance and broke through an illusory wall.
• Takahashi Yū found Simba waiting in the cornfield, greeted Mizuki and the other redheads, and returned to the Farm Estate.
• Takahashi Yū changed clothes, relaxed on the sofa with beer and snacks, and noticed that Uzumaki Shui Ling seemed older and more weary.
