Ch. 26Heading toward the direction of the Blood Moon

Yang Yong sent the Red-Clothed Female Ghost to find Cao Xianming, whose group was fleeing across the wilderness. Cao Xianming sent back instructions to head toward the Blood Moon, but Yang Yong could not see it in the dark; then a sudden change occurred.

  • Yang Yong summoned the Red-Clothed Female Ghost and sent her with a note asking Cao Xianming what to do because the bus had fallen behind.
  • Cao Xianming recognized the ghost as Yang Yong's messenger and sent a reply telling him to head in the direction the Blood Moon rose.
  • Yang Yong received the note but could not see the Blood Moon through the darkness.
  • Just as Yang Yong was about to lose his mind, a sudden change occurred.

Ch. 27What If These Trees Could Move...

Yang Yong led the bus through a Blood Moon zone where enormous trees attacked with their branches, and he used his artifacts to clear a path. After the trees’ shriek knocked out the other survivors, Yang Yong drove them out of the forest and onto a grassland, where he remained wary of hidden dangers.

  • Yang Yong spotted the Blood Moon and ordered Old Zhao to drive toward it through a forest of towering trees with transparent leaves.
  • The trees attacked the bus with their branches, so Yang Yong fought them off with the Little Golden Flood Dragon Scissors and the Red-Clothed Female Ghost.
  • Yang Yong discovered that the Thousand-Hammer, Hundred-Refinement Furnace could absorb the trees and leaves, then had the scissors cut down trees to clear the way.
  • A shriek from the forest knocked out Old Zhao and the survivors, but Yang Yong kept his senses and drove the bus out of the forest.
  • Old Zhao recovered, and Yang Yong handed him the wheel as they entered a grassland and continued following the route Cao Xianming had calculated.

Ch. 28The Bus Was Running Out of Fuel

Yang Yong led the survivors through a night among the Other Shore Flowers, then learned their bus was nearly out of fuel. They found a ruined temple for shelter, where a veiled bridal statue triggered a strange vision in Yang Yong.

  • Yang Yong warned the bus survivors to follow orders while he absorbed the Blood Moon's energy through the One-Yang God-Sealing Banner.
  • The bus crossed a sea of Other Shore Flowers, which sank underground as dawn arrived, and Yang Yong fell asleep from exhaustion.
  • Old Zhao told Yang Yong that the bus had only enough fuel for about thirty more kilometers.
  • A survivor spotted a solitary building, and Yang Yong ordered Old Zhao to drive the convoy there.
  • The survivors discovered the building was a ruined temple with a statue of a woman in a red bridal veil, and Yang Yong saw a vision of the veil lifting.

Ch. 29Husband...

Yang Yong and the survivors became trapped in a looping road around a sinister ruined temple and searched for a way out. When the Blood Moon rose, Yang Yong realized the temple and its shadow formed a gigantic stone coffin, and suspected they had to enter it again.

  • Yang Yong broke free from an illusion of a bridal woman calling him husband, then searched the temple with the survivors and found nothing useful.
  • Yang Yong used the One-Yang God-Sealing Banner to move the bus downhill, but the road looped back to the temple and trapped them.
  • Yang Yong tried turning the bus in different directions, but the temple reappeared each time, and he subdued a survivor who tried to flee.
  • Yang Yong ordered everyone to search the wilderness for clues, but they found nothing before nightfall.
  • Yang Yong saw the Blood Moon illuminate the temple and its shadow into the shape of an upright coffin, then recalled Old Cao's instruction to follow the Blood Moon.

Ch. 30Bridegroom, Don't Run...

Cao Xianming revealed that the convoy was trapped in a Small World and depended on Yang Yong to escape, while ordering his people to prepare for their chance. Yang Yong entered the Coffin Temple and was mistaken for a bridegroom by the ghostly wedding guests, then found his scissors could not harm the old man who seized him.

  • Cao Xianming told Zheng Xiaofeng, Wang Ying, Xiao Ma, and the others that the Small World was a prison and Yang Yong was their best chance to escape.
  • Cao Xianming ordered Xiao Ma to refuel the bus after the others entered the temple, assigned Zheng Xiaofeng to protect him, and told Wang Ying to save her strength for a final strike.
  • Yang Yong approached the Coffin Temple at night and found its rotten daytime entrance transformed into a wedding-decorated doorway.
  • Yang Yong opened the temple and saw more than a hundred ghostly guests feasting before they all turned to stare at him.
  • An old man in burial clothes called Yang Yong the bridegroom, seized his wrist, and prompted Yang Yong to attack with the Little Golden Flood Dragon Scissors.
  • Yang Yong's scissors struck the old man's arm but only produced sparks, leaving him shocked that they could not cut it.

Ch. 31Bridegroom, please step inside...

Yang Yong was dragged into the Coffin Temple and forced through the rituals of a ghost wedding while the other survivors endured a haunted banquet. After bathing in red water and putting on a chilling groom's outfit, Yang Yong was led to the bride's room.

  • The old man pulled Yang Yong and the survivors inside the Coffin Temple, and the doors slammed shut behind them.
  • Matchmakers seized Yang Yong and led him through the temple, while ushers forced Old Zhao and the other survivors to sit at the banquet.
  • Old Zhao and the survivors faced ghostly guests who pressed them to drink, while Yang Yong was taken to bathe and change.
  • Yang Yong splashed himself with the red water, put on the groom's outfit, and was escorted to a door marked with a red double-happiness character.
  • The maids told Yang Yong, "Bridegroom, please step inside..."

Ch. 32I Couldn't Handle the Eerie, but Couldn't I Handle This Eerie House?

Yang Yong was trapped in a ghostly wedding room with a malevolent impostor bride and fought his way into the Coffin Temple’s looping corridors. After using the One-Yang God-Sealing Banner to drain the temple’s ghostly energy, he burst into a room and found the middle-aged woman who had helped corner him.

  • Yang Yong discovered that the Little Golden Flood Dragon Scissors had regained their power after he was pushed into the wedding room.
  • The bride rose and called Yang Yong her husband, and he recognized her as an impostor and attacked her with the scissors.
  • Yang Yong sent the Red-Clothed Female Ghost to hold off the bride, then shattered the door and fled into the temple’s looping corridors.
  • Yang Yong carved through the walls with the scissors as the wounded Red-Clothed Female Ghost returned to the One-Yang God-Sealing Banner.
  • Yang Yong activated the banner to absorb the temple’s ghostly energy, then burst into a room where the middle-aged woman was giggling with another figure.

Ch. 33We meet again

Yang Yong fought his way through the banquet hall, but the eerie bride stopped him and said she had killed him many times before. Deep inside the Coffin Temple, a woman awakened from a blood-colored coffin, sensed her husband’s return, and ordered Uncle Fu to bring him back.

  • Yang Yong used the Red-Clothed Female Ghost to find his way back to the banquet hall, where the gathered Eerie turned on him and the convoy survivors tried to escape.
  • Yang Yong unleashed the Little Golden Flood Dragon Scissors against the Eerie, while the Red-Clothed Female Ghost devoured the ghosts’ remains.
  • The eerie bride appeared at the exit, effortlessly stopped Yang Yong’s attack, and restrained him with an invisible force.
  • The eerie bride told Yang Yong they had met before and said she had killed him many times, leaving him wondering whether she meant his past lives.
  • A woman in a red bridal gown awakened from a blood-colored coffin, told Uncle Fu that her husband had returned, and ordered him to bring Yang Yong back and kill anyone who stood in the way.

Ch. 34Husband... have you truly forgotten me?

Yang Yong escaped the Coffin Temple after an old servant and his Thousand-Hammer, Hundred-Refinement Furnace disrupted the Eerie Bride’s attack and broke the temple’s illusory world. He and the survivors reached the wilderness, where the Blood Moon’s changed position showed they had passed the temple.

  • The Eerie Bride tried to bite Yang Yong, but an old man from the clay statues appeared and struck her with a glowing jade bracelet, calling Yang Yong his young master.
  • Yang Yong used the Little Golden Flood Dragon Scissors to break free, then fled the hall with Old Zhao and the other survivors, only to find another temple hall beyond its doors.
  • The Eerie Bride caught up and attacked Yang Yong as he approached the exit, but the Thousand-Hammer, Hundred-Refinement Furnace emerged from his dantian, swallowed the blue ring, and broke through the temple roof.
  • The furnace swallowed a talisman-like object, restoring the small world’s directions, and returned to Yang Yong as he escaped through the opening into the wilderness.
  • The survivors rushed to the bus, and Yang Yong saw that the Blood Moon had shifted, indicating they had made it past the Coffin Temple.

Ch. 35Fuck! Old Cao, You Screwed Me Over!

Yang Yong drove the bus toward the Blood Moon while the Coffin Temple lifted five colossal creatures from their habitats and battled them. After the temple’s white hand saved him from the Eerie Bride, the tree giant pursued the bus as it neared the transparent wall.

  • Yang Yong ordered Old Zhao to speed toward the Blood Moon, and Old Zhao discovered the bus’s fuel tank was full.
  • The Coffin Temple rose into the air on black chains, dragging out a tree giant, a sea monster, an iron giant, a flaming bird, and a giant pangolin.
  • Yang Yong boosted the bus with the One-Yang God-Sealing Banner as Cao Xianming’s group approached, while the temple’s white hand fought the five behemoths.
  • The Eerie Bride pursued the bus and scattered the Red-Clothed Female Ghost, leaving Yang Yong unable to activate the Little Golden Flood Dragon Scissors.
  • The Coffin Temple’s white hand seized the Eerie Bride and pulled her away, but the tree giant then charged after the bus.
  • Yang Yong poured power into the God-Sealing Banner to flee as the bus came within inches of the transparent wall near the Blood Moon.

Ch. 36Once I'm free, I'll come find you

Yang Yong and the survivors escaped through a hole opened in the wall by the Ghost Bride, while Wang Ying and the others helped hold off the giant treant. The Ghost Bride was sealed back inside the Coffin Temple, but she promised Yang Yong she would find him within three years.

  • The Ghost Bride used her yin fire and the Eerie Bride’s blood to burn a bus-sized hole through the transparent wall as Yang Yong urged Old Zhao to keep driving.
  • Wang Ying cut the giant treant’s heel, making it stumble and giving the bus time to escape through the opening.
  • As Yang Yong left, the Ghost Bride told him that he was still her husband and that she would come find him; he felt sudden pain and tears without understanding why.
  • Wang Ying and Cao Xianming’s vehicles followed the bus through the hole, while Zheng Xiaofeng drew the treant’s attack and helped the final off-road vehicle escape.
  • The wall repaired itself before the treant could follow, and the five black chains resealed the Coffin Temple; the exhausted Ghost Bride returned inside and vowed to find Yang Yong within three years.

Ch. 37Fortune favors fools?

After escaping the Small World, Cao Xianming assessed Zheng Xiaofeng and Wang Ying, then deduced how Zheng could strengthen his armor by repeatedly taking damage. The convoy regrouped with forty survivors but faced a fuel shortage, and Cao asked Yang Yong if he could make more of the token powering his bus.

  • Yang Yong confronted Cao Xianming for not letting Wang Ying act sooner, but Cao redirected him to check on Zheng Xiaofeng, who had taken a punch from the treant.
  • Cao scanned Zheng and found a shattered right arm and three broken ribs, then deduced that repeatedly breaking his armor would strengthen it; Zheng was told he would become the team's punching bag.
  • Cao scanned Wang Ying and found her exhausted but uninjured after her slash had wounded the treant.
  • Lao Zhang and Xiao Ma counted forty survivors in the convoy, while Xiao Ma reported that the vehicles had only two days of fuel remaining.
  • Cao asked Yang Yong whether he could make more of the token powering his bus.

Ch. 38What Could Be Hidden in a Secret Room That Was Ordinary?

After the convoy settled into an isolated house, Xiao Liao noticed that the second floor was smaller than the other floors and suspected a hidden room. He led Wang Ying, Cao Xianming, and Yang Yong to investigate.

  • Yang Yong refused to make a furnace for Cao Xianming, and Cao Xianming chose a house where the convoy could camp safely.
  • Wang Ying searched the house and confirmed that no Eerie were inside, so the convoy moved in and began preparing food.
  • Xiao Liao studied the house and realized that the second floor had less space than the first, while the third floor's layout was normal.
  • Wang Ying asked what Xiao Liao had found, and he told her he suspected a secret room on the second floor.
  • Cao Xianming and Yang Yong joined Xiao Liao and Wang Ying to look for the hidden room.

Ch. 39The second step: Opening the apertures

Xiao Liao discovered a hidden compartment, and the convoy traded supplies for its tea, liquor, and cigarettes, making him the convoy’s wealthiest survivor. That night, Yang Yong absorbed Blood Moon Energy and forcefully tried to open his first aperture, enduring intense pain as he refused to stop.

  • Wang Ying cut through the wall after Xiao Liao identified a secret room, revealing cash, fine tea, liquor, and cigarettes.
  • Cao Xianming traded five packets of instant noodles for the tea, Yang Yong traded cured sausage for the liquor, and Xiao Ma traded supplies for the cigarettes.
  • Xiao Liao became the convoy’s wealthiest survivor, while the other men searched the building in vain for more hidden rooms.
  • Yang Yong went to the top floor under the Blood Moon, used the One-Yang God-Sealing Banner to absorb energy, and summoned the Red-Clothed Female Ghost to guard him.
  • Yang Yong began Qi Induction and forced Blood Moon Energy toward the aperture in his arm, drawing on the banner when his own energy ran out.
  • Yang Yong endured piercing pain and a swelling arm as he continued battering the aperture, warned that giving up would make his next attempt twice as difficult.

Ch. 40The untold secrets between the Red-Clothed Female Ghost and Yang Yong

Yang Yong forced open his Aperture with the Little Golden Flood Dragon Scissors, then recovered with the furnace’s help while the Red-Clothed Female Ghost guarded him. After the exhausted convoy stayed put for another day, Yang Yong woke at night and returned to the rooftop to cultivate.

  • Yang Yong used the Little Golden Flood Dragon Scissors to break open his Aperture, badly injuring his arm, and the furnace repaired his meridians as he slept.
  • Wang Ying stayed on the rooftop guarding Yang Yong through the night, then left to sleep when he woke in the morning.
  • Zhuo Fujiao tried to deliver Yang Yong’s noodles but screamed and collapsed when the Red-Clothed Female Ghost opened the door; the ghost caught the bowl and carried it to Yang Yong.
  • Rumors about Yang Yong and the Red-Clothed Female Ghost spread through the convoy while Yang Yong remained unable to move, so Cao Xianming decided everyone would stay another day.
  • Yang Yong woke after dark, took out the One-Yang Sealing God Plate, and went to the rooftop to cultivate again.

Ch. 41Something 'felt' wrong here!

After opening his first Aperture, Yang Yong joined the convoy’s search of a village that seemed unnaturally stripped of supplies. Xiao Ma arrived with Cao Xianming’s warning that the supplies were hidden in the old Ancestral Hall, and the search team rushed there.

  • Yang Yong felt his Blood Moon Energy capacity surge after opening his first Aperture and decided to cultivate cautiously before attempting another breakthrough.
  • Cao Xianming sent the convoy to search a nearby village, where Yang Yong was paired with Wang Ying.
  • Yang Yong and the survivors found the houses suspiciously empty, so he called for Xiao Liao to inspect their structures for hidden spaces.
  • Xiao Liao found no signs of hidden compartments or basements, leaving the search party unable to explain why Cao Xianming expected supplies there.
  • Xiao Ma delivered Cao Xianming’s message that the supplies were in the oldest Ancestral Hall and warned the group to move quickly.
  • Yang Yong and the search team hurried toward the Ancestral Hall, which they had overlooked earlier.

Ch. 42The rat tide was coming!!

Yang Yong and the others discovered a vast store of grain in a giant rat nest beneath the Mo Family Village, but their looting triggered a deadly rat tide. As the convoy fled, a giant rat raced after them, and Yang Yong prepared to fight.

  • Wang Ying found a claw-dug hole beneath the Ancestral Hall's offering table, and Yang Yong sent the Red-Clothed Female Ghost ahead before the group entered.
  • Yang Yong and the others found a huge underground store of grain and filled their bags until he sensed the rats approaching and ordered everyone to retreat.
  • Wang Ying blasted an exit through the passage, and the group fled as a massive tide of rats poured down the hillside.
  • Wang Ying slowed the rats with her saber while the vehicles picked up the fleeing survivors, but an old man carrying too much was devoured.
  • A boar-sized giant rat sprang from the tide and pursued the convoy, while Yang Yong gripped the One-Yang God-Sealing Banner and felt his Blood Moon Energy erupt.

Ch. 43Wild blade crosses the netherworld, sweeping ten thousand hills!

The convoy escaped a swarm of mutated rats after Wang Ying cut down their climbing columns, and Cao Xianming used his Data Model to guide them to a crash site with fuel. Yang Yong searched the wreckage for a vehicle and found a red farm truck with its key still in the ignition.

  • A giant rat directed the swarm to pile up and glide after the convoy, but Wang Ying severed the towering rat columns with a sweeping blade strike.
  • Yang Yong and Wang Ying reflected on the danger of increasingly powerful mutations while Cao Xianming analyzed the giant rat and recorded data that could help him advance to Sequence Three.
  • After the convoy finally lost the pursuing rats, Cao Xianming used his Data Model to find fuel and led everyone along a winding route to a crash site.
  • The convoy discovered an upright tanker truck full of fuel, and Yang Yong began checking abandoned vehicles for one he could drive.
  • Yang Yong found a red farm truck with tools and empty fuel drums in its cargo bed, and he turned the key left in its ignition.

Ch. 44The Sound of a Steam Train?

Yang Yong claimed a farm truck and helped the convoy clear a tanker truck from the wreckage before Cao Xianming ordered an urgent departure at sunset. After traveling through the night and stopping by abandoned farmland at dawn, the survivors heard an unseen whistle and watched a locomotive emerge from a glowing field and charge toward a mountain.

  • Yang Yong claimed a farm truck, filled it with fuel, and gathered supplies while the other survivors secured an SUV and salvaged goods from the wrecks.
  • Yang Yong directed the survivors to clear the wreckage, freeing the tanker truck and opening a path for the convoy.
  • Cao Xianming ordered everyone into their vehicles as night fell, and the convoy traveled until morning under his directions.
  • Yang Yong cooked porridge and went to sleep beside abandoned farmland after the convoy stopped for the day.
  • A whistle and rhythmic chuffing woke the survivors, but Wang Ying, Yang Yong, and Cao Xianming could not see what was approaching.
  • A glowing screen opened in a field, and a huge locomotive and its carriages emerged from underground before crossing the landscape toward a mountain.

Ch. 45Curio: Never-Ending Steam Train, No. 15

The Survival Convoy witnessed the Never-Ending Steam Train, No. 15, pass through a mountain, and Cao Xianming identified it as a Curio. The train returned, and its Sequence Transcendent passenger Zou Wei approached the convoy to trade materials for rice.

  • The Never-Ending Steam Train plunged through a mountainside as the convoy watched in disbelief.
  • Cao Xianming used his Data Model to identify the train as the Curio Never-Ending Steam Train, No. 15.
  • The train returned, and Cao Xianming predicted that the encounter would not lead to a fight.
  • Zou Wei jumped from the moving train and approached the convoy to trade supplies.
  • Zou Wei introduced himself as a Magician and met Cao Xianming, the Survival Convoy's captain.
  • Cao Xianming and Zou Wei began negotiating a trade of the train's materials for the convoy's rice.

Ch. 46Three Kinds of Materials

Yang Yong recognized that Zou Wei’s artifact-refining materials could be processed by his furnace and agreed to forge Wang Ying’s saber with Black Gold and the jade-like leg bone. As the convoy finished trading supplies for materials, Zou Wei prepared a magic trick to load them onto his returning steam train.

  • Zou Wei traded with Cao Xianming, who selected Black Gold, Space Stone, and an unidentified sand-like material in exchange for a third of the convoy’s supplies.
  • Cao Xianming pointed out that Yang Yong was the only person in the convoy able to process the materials, and Yang Yong agreed to upgrade Wang Ying’s Blood-Drinking Mad Saber using Black Gold and the jade-like leg bone.
  • Yang Yong fed the saber, leg bone, and three heavy pieces of Black Gold into the Thousand-Hammer, Hundred-Refinement Furnace and began forging.
  • Cao Xianming and Zou Wei completed their trade as the Never-Ending Steam Train returned to collect Zou Wei.
  • Zou Wei refused help loading the supplies and produced a flower, prompting the onlookers to watch as he began a magic trick.

Ch. 47Socially Anxious Flying Carpet

Zou Wei used the socially anxious flying carpet to load supplies onto the unstoppable steam train, then warned Cao Xianming that the train trapped its passengers on an unknown route. After the convoy fled for three days and nights, Yang Yong finally fell asleep, while a dark figure appeared in Cao Xianming's tent.

  • Zou Wei revealed that his flying carpet stopped moving when people stared at it, so he covered it with a black cloth and sent it carrying supplies to the steam train.
  • Zou Wei told Cao Xianming that the train never stopped, trapped passengers until death, and followed an unknown destination before boarding it and disappearing into the mountains.
  • Cao Xianming warned the convoy that powerful Curios could be dangerous and ordered everyone to leave quickly because the rat swarm was closing in.
  • Yang Yong drove through a three-day-and-night escape, enduring exhaustion as the saber in his Thousand-Hammer, Hundred-Refinement Furnace continued to be forged.
  • Yang Yong fell asleep after the convoy stopped, while Cao Xianming sat alone in his tent and a dark figure emerged from the shadows.

Ch. 48The Love Letter from Back Then

Cao Xianming’s convoy enjoyed two days of safety after Zheng Xiaofeng advanced to Iron Armorer, but a survivor then encountered a ghostly love letter from his past. The chapter ended as he described finding and reading the letter, while the threat remained unseen.

  • Cao Xianming invited a mysterious stranger to sit with him after calculating something with his Data Model.
  • Yang Yong traded grain for a meal, and Cao Xianming proposed having a survivor cook separately for the Transcendents.
  • Zheng Xiaofeng revealed that he had advanced to Sequence Two, Iron Armorer, and transformed into a towering suit of armor.
  • The convoy traveled safely and rested for two days, believing they had escaped the pursuing Eerie.
  • A survivor screamed about a ghost on the bus, and Yang Yong slapped him until he could explain what he had seen.
  • The survivor told Yang Yong and Cao Xianming that he had found and read a love letter from Xiaofang, a girl he had known when he was young.

Ch. 49I'm counting on you

Yang Yong and the others discovered that an invisible Rule-Type Eerie was attacking a man who had read an old love letter, and Cao Xianming explained how the letter determined who could perceive it. After learning he had a 98% chance of defeating it and that it could strengthen his One-Yang God-Sealing Banner, Yang Yong agreed to fight as the man was moved to an open space.

  • The man said he had seen his dead classmate Xiaofang after reading her old love letter, then began choking as an invisible Eerie attacked him.
  • Yang Yong's Little Golden Flood Dragon Scissors could not hit the Eerie, but the Red-Clothed Female Ghost struck the empty space and freed the man.
  • Cao Xianming identified the threat as a Rule-Type Eerie and said only people who had read the love letter could see or be attacked by it, prompting the other survivors to leave the bus.
  • Cao Xianming offered Yang Yong a 98% success rate and said defeating the Eerie would increase the One-Yang God-Sealing Banner's power by 50%, so Yang Yong agreed to fight.
  • Zheng Xiaofeng dragged the man off the bus and knocked him unconscious in an open space while Cao Xianming organized the survivors and told Yang Yong he was counting on him.

Ch. 50Six-Yang God-Sealing Banner

Yang Yong escaped the Love Letter Ghost’s illusion, defeated her, and absorbed her soul into the One-Yang God-Sealing Banner, which evolved into the Two-Yang God-Sealing Banner. He learned how the banner grows and wondered about the power of the complete Chaos Warship, while Cao Xianming watched the outcome with a pleased smile.

  • Yang Yong opened the love letter as the Blood Moon approached and became trapped in an illusion of his dead school beauty.
  • Cao Xianming ordered Wang Ying to slash Yang Yong, and the attack broke the illusion, revealing the white-clothed female ghost.
  • Yang Yong repeatedly cut the ghost with the Little Golden Flood Dragon Scissors until she weakened into a wisp of soul.
  • Yang Yong used the One-Yang God-Sealing Banner to absorb the Love Letter Ghost, and the banner became the Two-Yang God-Sealing Banner, ranked 2,800th among Curios.
  • Yang Yong learned that the banner needed six main souls before later ghosts could become their subordinates, and Cao Xianming smiled after the data model confirmed success.
