Night of the Massacre
Several days passed, Uchiha Clan ninjas who were away gradually returned.
The peaceful atmosphere that once filled the clan's territory was gone. The clansmen seemed to have realized that the village ninjas had been looking at them rather strangely lately.
Inside the shrine, an Uchiha ninja violently tore a piece of paper to shreds. "Damn Hiruzen Sarutobi! He actually approved this kind of thing! What, that Uchiha clansmen need to submit a special report to the Konoha office to leave the village, and that they're not allowed to leave unless absolutely necessary? What does he take us for? Prisoners?!"
In the seat in front, an elderly man with a full head of white hair sighed, "I miss the time when the Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju, was in charge of the village. Back then, we had the most power, and we could even see members of the Hyuga Clan using respectful titles to address us."
"And now."
The ninjas in the shrine were all talking amongst themselves, their eyes fixed on Uchiha Fugaku in front of them.
"Clan Leader! We can't wait any longer!"
"Yes, Clan Leader! If things continue like this, we might as well rebel!"
"Clan Leader, even if we move away from Konoha, it would be better than the current situation, wouldn't it?"
"What do you mean by 'relocate'! The Uchiha deserves half the credit for the village's establishment! Why should we leave? They're the ones treating us differently!"
"Alright." Uchiha Fugaku took a deep breath. "Tomorrow night."
Although the words were brief, the crowd cheered!
"Great! This day has finally come!"
A sharp pain flashed in Itachi Uchiha's eyes as he squinted in the corner, then turned and walked out of the house.
At that moment, Ichiraku Ramen Shop, Uchiha Yu personally served Yakumo Kurama a bowl of Ichiraku Ramen.
Yakumo Kurama, looking very much like a little girl, pinched the hem of her skirt and bowed slightly. "Arigato! Yu-chan!"
"Eat up, I added some fish balls especially for you."
"Ah! Thank you so much!"
Yakumo Kurama slurped a few mouthfuls of noodles, then suddenly noticed that Uchiha Yu beside him hadn't touched his chopsticks. He turned his head and, following the gaze, saw a sullen Blondie Kid in the corner.
"What's wrong, Yu-chan? Do you know that child?"
"Hmm, it's alright," he said. "I'll go ask."
Uchiha Yu walked over to Naruto Uzumaki's side. "What's wrong? Did you get beaten up? Were you bullied?"
Naruto Uzumaki looked up and saw a familiar face. He quickly wiped away his tears. "I don't have enough money this month. The milk I bought has expired, and I... I lost the ramen coupon the Ramen Shop Owner gave me. Home..."
When he mentioned the word 'home,' Naruto Uzumaki paused, then continued with a resentful look in his eyes, 'There's no food left at home.'
"Alright." Uchiha Yu patted Naruto on the back. "So what if you don't have money for food? Go ask Hiruzen Sarutobi, he'll give you some."
"Grandpa Hokage." Naruto Uzumaki looked reluctant. "He hasn't been talking to me lately. I don't know what he's busy with. Last time I painted the Fourth Hokage on the Hokage Rock with dark circles under his eyes and nobody cared. It's so boring."
Uchiha Yu's eye twitched slightly. He thought to himself that no one really cared. He could paint his own father's statue, so who could say anything to him? Let Egypt do whatever it wants.
"Alright, then I'll treat you to noodles."
"Really! Really!?" Naruto's eyes widened in disbelief.
"Yeah, I can still afford that amount of money."
"Then I won't be polite, big brother!" Naruto said, slamming his hand on the table. "Ah! Ramen Shop Owner! I want it, I want a hundred!"
Uchiha Yu raised his hand and gave Naruto a flick on the forehead. "You'd better think this through before you speak."
Naruto covered his head, "I, I want three, three bowls of ramen."
After ordering, Naruto seemed to instantly come to life. He glanced at the woman who had been sitting with Uchiha Yu, and said with a lewd expression, "Big brother, big brother, is that... that... your wife?"
"Damn wife, Laozi only a few years old and I'm already getting married."
"Oh! That's my girlfriend!"
"No, just a small squad."
"Huh!" Naruto was completely bewildered. "You, you've already left the village on a mission?"
"Of course, otherwise where would I get the money to treat you to ramen?"
"Wow, that's amazing!" Naruto Uzumaki's eyes widened. "What's it like outside the village? Are there monsters in the forest? Are there lots of naked older women on the streets?"
"What are you thinking about?" Uchiha Yu rolled his eyes at Naruto Uzumaki. "Konoha is considered a relatively wealthy village in the Shinobi World."
"What? No?" Naruto Uzumaki suddenly looked expectant again. "Then, will the shops outside the village refuse me entry?"
Speaking of this, the owner of Ichiraku Ramen, Teuchi Otsutsuki a bowl of noodles in front of Naruto, saying, "Eat quickly, or it will get soggy."
"Yosh! I'm starting to eat!!!"
At Konoha Hospital, Tsunade, as the Chief Resident Physician, is constantly treating patients.
Shizune stood behind Tsunade, looking at the long line of people, Shizune also started to feel a headache.
Including the balding middle-aged woman that Tsunade is currently treating, this is already the twentieth or so anorexia patient in recent days.
"Same, still the same." Tsunade stopped circulating her chakra within Big Mom. "You've also been infected with an unknown virus. This virus isn't fatal; it only causes loss of appetite."
"Shizune, register her first."
"Yes!"
Shizune held the notebook and picked up a pen. "Auntie, what's your name?"
"Uchiha Cuimei".
When she heard the Uchiha, Tsunade's eyes narrowed as if she had been pricked by a needle!
Without exception, these anorexic patients were all members of the Uchiha.
One or two is fine.
Such a large number of figures cannot be a coincidence.
Thinking of this, Tsunade looked at the crowd and said, "Those of you in line, the Uchiha Clan, stay Fudo. The rest of the villagers, stand on the left."
As soon as he finished speaking, an old man, a young girl, and a middle-aged man stood on the left.
Seeing this, Tsunade a slight sigh of relief.
If anorexia is not a symptom unique to the Uchiha Clan, then it means that this ailment is not specific to the Uchiha.
"Shizune, register them first."
"Yes."
Shizune called over three villagers from the left side of the group, "What are you calling out to?"
"Matsuo Shinyu."
"Kujō Takuto".
"Hotta Ying."
Upon hearing the name, Shizune's hands trembled, her eyes filled with shock!
The pen she was using to take notes fell to the ground with a "thud." Tsunade stood up and said, "Everyone, I have some urgent business to attend to today. Please come back tomorrow. Don't worry, I will be here early tomorrow morning to see patients. Please don't be anxious."
The Uchiha clan members sighed, but there was nothing they could do.
After most of the people had left, Tsunade took off her coat and instructed Shizune, "Kakashi's antidote is just a few steps away from completion. You keep an eye on it while I go find the teacher."
"Yes!"
Tsunade's figure darted between the rooftops of Konoha and soon arrived at the Hokage Office.
She pushed the door open and entered, giving Hiruzen Sarutobi no time to react as he put away the Crystal Ball. The latter blushed and asked, "What's wrong, Tsunade? Is something urgent?"
Tsunade explained the situation of the Uchiha clan, Hiruzen Sarutobi shook his head slightly. "I don't know, but it should be fine."
"What do you mean, teacher? I don't quite understand."
It means you don't need to worry about it.
Tsunade frowned, thinking about what Uchiha Yu had gone through and connecting it to the fact that her hemophobia secret had been leaked.
It's hard not to imagine a terrible consequence.
Thinking of this, Tsunade darkened. "Kakashi's antidote will be ready by tomorrow. Once it's ready, I will leave Konoha."
Hiruzen Sarutobi paused for a moment, then said, "Well, alright then, Tsunade. Since you've chosen to continue Traveling the Ninja World, I won't say much more. Just be careful in everything you do."
Tsunade, said nothing more, and left the office.
After Tsunade left, Hiruzen Sarutobi sighed, "So they used a plague that affects the Uchiha to wipe them out? Danzo, you've really discovered some amazing methods."
Hiruzen Sarutobi looked out the window at a large tree, which stretched deep into the ground. After passing through the tangled roots, the view suddenly opened up before him.
This is a dark Underground Base, with a structure highly similar to Orochimaru's base in the Otogakure.
In the center of the base, an old man dressed in white, with his forehead and half of his face wrapped in bandages, was giving orders to a large group of ninjas kneeling in front of him.
"This mission is a do-or-die situation! While Itachi Uchiha is disrupting the position, you are responsible for holding off the Konoha Military Police Force ninjas. After that, finish off any Uchiha clansmen who are still alive. Do you all understand?!"
The Root Ninja had no independent thoughts, and even when it came to harming the villagers, they had no ulterior motives.
They all nodded in unison. "Yes!"
In front of the gates of Konoha, the slanting sunlight cast a golden glow.
A caravan slowly approached, its Rolling Wheels and raising a little dust.
The horses pulling the cart snorted occasionally, their steps steady.
This seemingly ordinary caravan was stopped by Gekko Hayate in Konoha Gate.
Gekko Hayate's eyes were sharp as an eagle's. He surveyed the caravan, raised his hand to signal them to stop, and said in a loud and authoritative voice, "Routine inspection, please cooperate." As he spoke, his gaze fell on the magnificent palanquin in the center of the caravan.
Gekko Hayate felt something was amiss. He slowly walked towards the sedan chair and reached out to lift the heavy curtain.
At this moment, the ninja who had been standing next to the palanquin with a red dot on his head suddenly made a move, quickly waving his hand and saying firmly, "You cannot look at my master's appearance."
Upon hearing this, Gekko Hayate instantly became alert. He took a step back, his hand unconsciously resting on the Ninja Blade at his waist. His eyes were fixed on the ninja in front of him as he questioned, "Why can't I look?"
Just then, a sinister voice came from inside the sedan chair. "Look if you want to."
As soon as he finished speaking, the curtain was slowly lifted, and a faint fishy smell wafted out.
The moment Gekko Hayate's gaze fell upon the figure inside the sedan chair, he froze instantly, his eyes widening in disbelief, his gaze blank, as if his computer had crashed, remaining Fudo.
His body was tense, maintaining the same posture as before, as if time had frozen at this moment.
Clearly, he had fallen under an illusion and was trapped in an endless maze.
Inside the sedan chair, Orochimaru sat leisurely, wearing a white robe and with his long hair casually draped over his shoulders.
His eyes narrowed slightly, a strange light flashing in his pupils, and his forked tongue flickered out from time to time, licking his lips.
Seeing Gekko Hayate under the influence of genjutsu, Orochimaru stepped out of the palanquin. Looking at the familiar gates of Konoha, a strange smile crept onto his lips as he muttered to himself, "Teacher Sarutobi, I'm back!"
On the balcony of the Uchiha Yu family residence, Yakumo Kurama ate a rice ball, watching the Uchiha clan members coming and going below, and felt a sense of emptiness.
She didn't understand why Uchiha Yu had invited her to his house for a small gathering, and why she had arrived but Yu hadn't.
Out of boredom, she could only watch the passersby.
Suddenly! Yakumo Kurama's gaze locked onto a room not far away across the street!
Why is so much red liquid sprayed on that paper window?
Did someone owe money and get paint thrown at them by the debtor?
Before she could even process what was happening, space distorted, and a Mysterious Man wearing Shit-Yellow Mask appeared in a room across the street!
"W-what's going on?!"
Sensing that something was amiss, Yakumo Kurama immediately crouched down and peered outside through the gap in the balcony.
But suddenly they found that the once bustling street was now deathly silent!
what happened!?
Suddenly, she heard a noise behind her!
Just as she was about to turn around, a warm palm silenced her mouth.
"Shh." Uchiha Yu made a gesture. "Don't make any noise. Don't worry, I'll keep watch here. Also, draw a portrait of this guy. If necessary, help me out."
Yakumo Kurama took the photo, looking bewildered, and asked, "What... what happened?!"
A barely perceptible glint of excitement flashed in Uchiha Yu's eyes. "Tonight is the night of the Uchiha Clan's Night of the Massacre."
"Wh-what!?"
