When the door was knocked open, Ryuto had just finished circulating his ki through one full cycle.
Outside, a commotion mingled with stifled groans of pain and hurried footsteps.
Ryuto opened his eyes, pushed the door open, and went out.
In the corridor, two Hyūga clan members covered in blood staggered toward him, supporting someone between them. The veins around that man's Byakugan had yet to subside, but blood covered his face from forehead to chin. A large section of his clothing had been torn away over his chest, exposing bruised, swollen skin that was still seeping blood.
It was Hyūga Tenshu.
Two more Hyūga clan members followed behind, one clutching his arm and the other limping, both deathly pale.
"What happened?" Hashirama's voice came from the room next door.
He came out too, and his brows immediately knitted at the sight of Hyūga Tenshu.
Madara, Izuna, and Tobirama also emerged from their respective rooms.
Madara took one look and scoffed.
"Went for a stroll and ended up like this?"
Hyūga Tenshu barely managed to raise his head, blood still trickling from the corner of his mouth.
"...Ran... ran into a few... people in white..."
After saying that, he closed his eyes and passed out.
"Carry him in," Hashirama said.
The two Hyūga clan members who were not seriously injured hurriedly carried Tenshu into the room and laid him on the stone bed.
Hashirama walked over and pressed both hands against Tenshu's chest.
Green chakra surged out.
Ryuto stood at the doorway and spread out his Ki Sense.
The chakra inside Hyūga Tenshu was in complete disarray. Several of his chakra pathways were blocked, at least three ribs were broken, and his internal organs were damaged as well.
They had hit him hard.
