Background

Jiang Haofeng arrived in the Primordial Era with knowledge of later events and initially introduced himself simply as “Haofeng.” He quickly concluded that openly transforming humanity and becoming an object of mass faith would risk binding him to Humanity's Destiny and confining him like the Three Ancestors, Three Sovereigns, and Five Emperors. He therefore chose to operate as a hidden protector rather than a public ruler. 2 3

His rise was built around the Innate Supreme Treasure, the Myriad Manifestations Heavenly Book. By observing the natural world and stronger cultivators, he developed transformation arts, movement techniques, physical cultivation, divine abilities, and eventually entire Great Daos. His first demonstrated transformation turned him into an indistinguishable stone, concealing even his aura from a Grand Unity Golden Immortal. 3 4

After gaining immense merit, Jiang Haofeng established himself as the unquestioned leader of the Human Hidden Lineage. He engraved the Hidden Lineage's mission on a stele atop Central Phoenix Mountain and used the Creation Sacred Spring to hide the mountain from outside scrutiny as humanity expanded. 16 24

Personality

Jiang Haofeng is cautious, methodical, and intensely conscious of karma, destiny, and the danger posed by Saints. He generally avoids exposing his full strength, preserves hidden cards such as his primordial spirit cultivation and movement arts, and prefers preparation over reckless confrontation. 3 76 114

His caution does not prevent decisive action. He confronts threats to humanity directly, including visiting the Demon Court alone, hunting Demon Gods, defeating Lu Ya, and facing Quasi-Saint enemies during the Jiuli conflict. 50 83 89 258

He values learning, innovation, and the long-term independence of humanity. Rather than making humanity dependent upon himself, he creates systems, trains successors, spreads the Martial Dao, and supports the rise of the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors. He considers himself better suited to serving as a Grand Elder and guardian than as Human King. 65 146 160 181
