A streak of red light shot out. Panting heavily, the Fire Element Archmage Masor finally escaped with great difficulty. Her wrinkled old face was filled with dejection, and her eyes darted around as she tried to assess the situation in the valley first.
After the four colossal creatures had wreaked havoc, the scenic valley carpeted with flowers was utterly ruined. Gullies crisscrossed the ground, and lava flowed everywhere like streams. Roaring fires burned in the numerous uneven pits, and the air was thick with a scorching, acrid smell.
Masor surveyed the area and visibly relaxed when she saw that the Golden Dragon, Cyclops, and Silver Giant Ape were gone. When she discovered Han Shuo and Sophie standing in the distance, watching her coldly, she forced an ugly smile onto her face and explained apologetically, "Congratulations to you both on surviving. The circumstances were unusual just now. I hope you can understand. I had no choice!"
Sophie's pretty face was filled with scorn and contempt. She raised her head and snorted softly, sparing Masor no further glance as she said to Han Shuo, who hovered above, "Let's go. There's nothing to say to someone like her!"
"Yes, I think so too!" Han Shuo agreed with Sophie's suggestion. He gave Masor a cold, sharp look from afar, a fiendish presence naturally spilling out of him. But he did not attack, instead taking the lead in flying out of the valley.
An unusual summoning incantation rang from Sophie's cherry lips, and the beautiful white Pegasus appeared once more in the scorching valley, smoothly lifting Sophie onto her back.
Without the Flame Lord's terrifying power controlling them, the enormous banks of fiery clouds filling the valley's sky gradually broke apart and dispersed. Mountain winds blew down from above, and the raging flames slowly died
