Credit to the Lucky Ring

Just as Lin Feng was about to continue trading for the materials he needed to upgrade, Qin An's avatar suddenly flashed.

Qin An: [Feng, where did you get so much medicine to trade? Isn't that way too reckless?]

Lin Feng: [Huh? How did you know? I was only just about to list it. Are you psychic?]

Qin An: [Oh, please. Do you have any idea how famous your name is in the Chatroom now? Plenty of people are waiting to snap up the medicine you sell! I happened to see people talking about you the other day, so I looked into it a little.]

Lin Feng: [Oh, I see. Do you need any medicine, then?]

Qin An: [...]

Qin An: [Feng, I'd suggest you use it sparingly. Medicine is too precious. I don't know where you got so much of it, but I'd suggest you stop trading it.]

Lin Feng: [Don't worry, I know what I'm doing. Oh, and remember to come to me for medicine if you get sick.]

Qin An: [Got it. You be careful too.]

After leaving the chat, Lin Feng clicked cancel on the medicine he had been about to list.

It wasn't because of Qin An's advice, but because Lin Feng had realized something: scarcity drove up value.

As the person with the most medicine, he naturally needed to control how much he sold and raise the price. After all, no matter how much medicine he had, he couldn't meet the needs of billions of people.

As for Qin An's advice?

If he knew exactly how much medicine Lin Feng had, he probably wouldn't have said that.

"Rawr!"

"Don't touch that!"

Lin Feng spoke as he watched Little Velociraptor take quite an interest in the foam box.

"Rawr?!"

Little Velociraptor gave a puzzled cry, but obediently backed away a little. Since that foam box was off-limits, he would go play in the water instead!

Little Velociraptor happily went over to the pool and took a look.

"Bubble, bubble, bubble..."

"Ugh, has this little guy hit his rebellious phase? He's getting up to all sorts of things."

Lin Feng had noticed it too. Little Velociraptor had been getting more and more active lately.

He was also extremely mischievous. Lin Feng seriously suspected that this little guy had reached his teenage rebellious phase.

"What are you doing?"

Lin Feng pulled Little Velociraptor's head out of the water, looked at the pool, then looked at Little Velociraptor.

There wasn't much in the pool, just two plump freshwater fish. Looking at them made Lin Feng want to eat them.

"How about grilled fish today?"

Lin Feng thought it over briefly, then scooped out the two fish, whose names he didn't know.

"Go on playing."

"Rawr!"

Little Velociraptor gave a cheerful cry, then plunged headfirst into the pool again and went back to blowing bubbles.

"Honestly, you little rascal."

Lin Feng shook his head helplessly. Fortunately, the pool's water refreshed automatically, so it was clean every day.

If he liked playing in it, Lin Feng would let him.

Lin Feng cleaned the two fish, then gave them a quick rinse in the pool.

Only then did he skewer them on branches and prop them up beside the Fireplace.

Twenty-odd minutes later, the grilled fish gave off a mouthwatering aroma.

"Mmm, I'm a damn good cook."

Lin Feng took a bite and found it tasted good, not a bit worse than Michael's grilled fish. And that was with nothing but a little salt. With some chili and pepper, it would definitely be delicious.

As a proper foodie of a dinosaur, Little Velociraptor naturally wouldn't miss a meal. Besides, every time Lin Feng finished cooking, he came over to mooch food and drink.

Lin Feng had already set aside some of the grilled fish for Little Velociraptor: two large fish heads.

They would definitely boost his brainpower!

Little Velociraptor wasn't picky at all. Holding the two fish heads in his mouth and wagging his tail, he ate every last bite.

Naturally, that alone wasn't enough.

Lin Feng found some more scraps of raw meat and tossed them to him.

Only after eating roughly another five pounds of meat was Little Velociraptor full.

Lin Feng wasn't short of food for himself now, but Little Velociraptor didn't have much to eat.

Half the goat meat had already been eaten.

"I hope the next floor has plenty of animals."

Lin Feng casually tossed the branches he had used to grill the fish into the Fireplace as he spoke.

As he said this, the Lucky Ring on his finger suddenly glimmered, but Lin Feng didn't notice the subtle change.

With food and drink taken care of, it was time to keep exercising!

Judging by his personal panel, exercise was definitely very useful.

His previous level had certainly been below the average for a normal person. Only through exercise combined with the Body-Strengthening Pill had he improved by several points.

Seeing Lin Feng doing strange movements again, Little Velociraptor didn't keep trying to play with him, but lay quietly beside the pool instead.

He seemed to have made the area beside the pool his nest.

Lin Feng was still fast asleep when a system notification suddenly sounded.

"Beep! The floor the host is about to enter is the Grassland Floor. This floor poses a relatively low danger to the host, so there is no need to worry. The floor contains various wild animals, as well as a tribe of natives. Note: the natives are hostile toward all outsiders who enter the grassland."

"Holy crap! It really is a floor with lots of animals? That's some incredible luck!"

Could it really be thanks to this Lucky Ring?

He would find a chance to test it.

As for the natives, they probably weren't much of a fighting force. If he ran into them, he could just kill them.

[Ding-dong! The elevator is descending. Please hold on.]

As the announcement ended, the elevator began descending rapidly. A short while later, it stopped.

Lin Feng checked the weapons he was carrying one last time, then stepped out.

Once he left the elevator, waves of heat hit him in the face.

The huge difference in temperature between inside and outside the elevator made Lin Feng sneeze.

Sure enough, not far from Lin Feng was a herd of wild cattle drinking water.

"Holy crap, so many cattle! I've struck it rich!!"

"Little Dragon, sneak over there. Once I fire, jump out and catch whatever you can!"

"Rawr!!"

Little Velociraptor immediately nodded, then crouched down and concealed himself in the grass.

As Little Velociraptor carefully ran forward, he suddenly noticed that there seemed to be something ahead of him.

An emaciated lion lay low in the grass, its eyes fixed on the drinking cattle. It was searching for the weak members of the herd, but the calves and old cattle were all protected in the middle by the adults in their prime.

They weren't easy to ambush, which was why the lion had waited until now.

Yet all its attention was on the cattle. It hadn't even noticed the Velociraptor behind it, countless times more terrifying than itself.

"Roar!"

With a low growl from Little Velociraptor, his sharp teeth instantly hooked into the lion's flesh.

Hearing the sound, the lion tried to turn and fight back, but with just a little pressure from Little Velociraptor's jaws, its windpipe ruptured.

It soon lost the ability to resist and became a corpse.
