Upon arriving at Tranquillien, all the troops descended from the Floating City to the ground. Although Tranquillien had not suffered a direct Scourge attack, the surrounding lands had all been contaminated, worsening its environment.
"Lord Regent, we have been awaiting your arrival!" Lady Olifiloss was already waiting there. Ever since Patrick became Regent, restoring Silvermoon City's control over the kingdom's affairs had remained on the Council's agenda.
With Patrick's authorization, Lor'themar had appointed Olifiloss and her adviser Valven to lead an army to Tranquillien ahead of time. During the Third War, the Scourge had attacked Silvermoon City and the Sunwell, forcing the Blood Elves to abandon Tranquillien. The village had soon fallen into ruin.
Retaking Tranquillien was merely the prelude to Patrick's current campaign to reclaim the Ghostlands. Situated at the very heart of the Ghostlands, Tranquillien's military and political significance to the entire region went without saying. Rommath had also sent Arcanist Vandriel and Archmage Eminiel to lead a contingent in helping Tranquillien's troops maintain its defenses.
Back then, the Council faction had put considerable effort into Tranquillien to divide the forces under Patrick's command. Unfortunately, with the construction of the Floating City, most Elves had little interest in this small town west of Sunscar Peak and were exceptionally eager to live in the Floating City instead. It was this that had foiled the Council faction's scheme.
Tranquillien's reconstruction was progressing well. Judging by the surrounding buildings and the busy workers, the first Elves to arrive here had not slacked off in the slightest. The kingdom's destruction had jolted all the Elves awake from their dreams. Many had begun to recognize their own shortcomings and were sparing no effort to bring about the kingdom's revival.
