• Yūki finished his exam quickly and correctly, then bought four rare packs from Tami after using Silent Magician’s perception to find the cards he wanted.
• Yūki challenged Obelisk Blue and was paired against Chazz, whom he defeated with a repeating Spell Absorption, Fire Princess, and Butterfly Dagger - Elma combo.
• Yūki received his duel rewards while Chazz left shaken, and Syrus lost his own assessment after hesitating against his opponent.
• Yūki built a HERO deck with his Duel Coins, but students began avoiding him because they feared his varied decks and overwhelming victories.
• Summoned Skull sensed a dark presence near the Abandoned Dormitory, so Yūki went to investigate and met Asuka, who was searching for clues about her missing brother Atticus.
• Yūki, Asuka, Jaden, Syrus, and Hayato found a cavern beneath the dormitory, where a hooded man appeared and sealed them inside a dark barrier.
• Yūki accepted the hooded man’s challenge and, after the man summoned Mad Dog of Darkness, built up his HERO field with Grand Neos and Elemental HERO Sunrise.
• Yūki returned Mad Dog of Darkness to the hooded man’s hand and destroyed his other set card, but Negate Attack stopped Grand Neos’s direct attack.

Yūki defeated Heichuan Jin and protected him from the darkness, but the academy punished the students who had entered the Abandoned Dormitory. Yūki and his allies fought to keep their places, and the arc left Yūki facing the Paradox Brothers again as they summoned Gate Guardian.

• Yūki defeated Heichuan Jin, shielded him from Darkness Ball with five Duel Spirits, and learned that he had been sent to seize the Ancient Dark Altar beneath the Abandoned Dormitory.
• Yūki and Asuka uncovered the academy’s evasive response to the incident, while Summoned Skull warned Yūki that darkness lingered around Syrus Truesdale.
• Hiraoka threatened Jaden, Syrus, and Hayato with expulsion and demoted Yūki and Asuka, then offered the students a series of punishment duels as their chance to stay.
• Yūki and Asuka defeated the Paradox Brothers with Cyber-Stein, Telekinetic Power Well, and a field of Fusion Monsters, voiding their expulsions.
• Jaden and Syrus defeated the Paradox Brothers in a tag duel after Syrus summoned powerful Vehicroid Fusion Monsters, though he left without acknowledging Jaden.
• Yūki entered the afternoon duel with Hayato, while the Paradox Brothers used Prohibition to forbid Cyber-Stein and began assembling their demon gods.
• Gong summoned Sanga of the Thunder, Kazejin, and Suijin, then Tributed all three to Special Summon Gate Guardian as Yūki applauded and mocked the loss of their effects.

Yūki won his duel against the Paradox Brothers, earned promotion to Obelisk Blue, and defeated Supreme King Jaden and Zane with his growing HERO arsenal. As he prepared to duel Asuka for a place as Zane’s substitute, Jinzo emerged at the power station and Yūki began a Shadow Game to free the captured students.

• Yūki defeated the Paradox Brothers with Silent Magician, reversing the academy’s punishments and earning promotion to Obelisk Blue.
• Syrus grew resentful of Yūki’s success as Yūki settled into his new villa and challenged Jaden’s future self through the system.
• Yūki defeated Supreme King Jaden by giving Lava Golem to his opponent and letting its effect reduce Jaden’s Life Points to zero.
• Yūki opened fifty Evil HERO Booster Packs, then defeated Zane with Magic Cylinder and unlocked the Cyber Dragon Archetype Pack.
• Crowler offered Yūki rewards if he won the monthly assessment against Asuka and joined the exchange-duel team as Zane’s substitute.
• Asuka agreed to duel Yūki and told him her brother Atticus had vanished, while Yūki recalled that Atticus would soon become one of the Seven Stars.
• After Jaden warned him about a spirit draining students, Yūki found Jinzo at the power station and accepted its Shadow Game challenge.

Yūki defeated Jinzo, expanded his card collection, and beat Jaden in a duel with his Evil HEROes. He then challenged Syrus with a Cyber Dragon deck, ending the stretch with Syrus restraining Yūki’s 8000-ATK Cyber End Dragon.

• Yūki trapped Jinzo in a Yata-Garasu draw-lock, forced his surrender, and made him sign a master-servant contract under Summoned Skull’s supervision.
• Yūki collected his rewards, bought Cyber Dragon and Evil HERO packs, and pulled two Cyber End Dragons and Super Polymerization.
• Yūki accepted Jaden’s rematch, and Jaden opened with Elemental HERO Absolute Zero while Yūki summoned Evil HERO Evil Blade Demon.
• Jaden used Terra Firma and Dark Ruler No More to destroy Evil Blade Demon, but Yūki answered with Super Polymerization and Malicious Bane to defeat him.
• Yūki gave Jaden an Elemental HERO Neos, then invited Syrus to duel after noticing Syrus’s darkened aura.
• Yūki revealed his Cyber Dragon deck, and Syrus began by summoning Steam Gyroid and using Mixeroid and Expressroid to recover its materials.
