Yūki defeated Syrus and Asuka, earned a place as Duel Academy’s reserve contestant, and joined the Cyber Style Dojo. After awakening a Cyber Dragon spirit to prepare for Zane’s challenge, he entered their private Cyber Style duel.

• Yūki used Chimeratech Fortress Dragon to absorb Syrus’s Machines and defeat him, leaving Syrus angry and doubting his growth.
• Yūki defeated Alexis Rhodes with Chimeratech Overdragon, earning Duel Coins, Soul Power, and a reserve position for the North Campus match.
• Bastion Misawa defeated Chazz Princeton with Water Dragon, earning promotion to Obelisk Blue while Chazz was demoted to Ra Yellow.
• Samejima and Zane Truesdale invited Yūki into the Cyber Style Dojo, where Yūki accepted Zane’s challenge to a Cyber Dragon mirror match.
• Yūki spent 10,000 Duel Coins to awaken a Cyber Dragon spirit, named it Little Silver, and gained confidence about facing Zane.
• After Bastion moved to Obelisk Blue and Duel Academy announced Yugi Muto’s Battle City deck exhibition, Yūki entered a sealed hall and began his private duel with Zane.

Yūki defeated Zane, then built a deck around Silent Magician and prepared to face Chazz Princeton in the televised Friendly Match. Chazz destroyed Silent Magician LV8 and took the lead, leaving Yūki at 2300 Life Points as his turn began.

• Zane summoned Cyber End Dragon, but Yūki used Chimeratech Fortress Dragon and traps to turn Zane’s own monsters against him and win the duel.
• Yūki planned to push Zane toward seeking Cyberdark power, then reassured Silent Magician that she remained the anchor of his deck and began building her a new one.
• Yūki gathered Silent Magician and Spellbook cards, obtained Temple of the Kings, and received the trap Exchange of Reality and the Underworld.
• Chazz arrived from North Campus with the Armed Dragons, vowed to defeat Yūki in the Friendly Match, and rejected a business offer to use a prebuilt deck.
• Yūki and Chazz began their televised duel, and Yūki summoned Silent Magician after Tributing Witch of the Black Forest.
• Chazz evolved Armed Dragon LV3 into Armed Dragon LV5, destroyed Silent Magician, and watched Yūki summon Silent Magician LV8 in her place.
• Chazz revived Armed Dragon LV3, equipped Armed Dragon LV5 with United We Stand, and raised its ATK to 4000.
• Chazz negated Yūki’s Magic Cylinder with Dark Bribe, then used Armed Dragon LV5 and Armed Dragon LV3 to destroy Silent Magician LV8 and reduce Yūki to 2300 Life Points.
