Dick secured Ethereal technology by helping defeat Dimensius, then joined the Dragon Aspects in confronting Deathwing and his experiments in Draenor. With Gruul fighting Deathwing inside a trap, Dick recognized the Old Gods’ corruption emerging and prepared the Dragon Aspects to act.

• VanCleef and Iva defended the Dark Portal’s artillery position, and VanCleef agreed to become a worgen in exchange for joining Iva’s Bloodfang Battle Group.
• Dick sealed the Emerald Dream’s entrances and organized a campaign against the Burning Legion, while faction leaders prepared to attend Azshara’s banquet.
• Dick negotiated with Haramad for starship engines and Eco-Dome technology, then led a force that killed Dimensius and earned the Ethereals’ payment.
• Dick and the Dragon Aspects pursued Sinestra, who revealed Deathwing’s twilight dragon experiments and agreed to help them if they could restore hope to the Black Dragonflight.
• Sinestra reunited with Blackhorn and Sabotmain, and Sabotmain agreed to lure Gruul toward Deathwing while the Dragon Aspects prepared their trap.
• Dick won Ogri’la’s support in exchange for warriors and mages, and Sabotmain lured Gruul into a golden-lightning cage with Deathwing.
• Deathwing chose to fight Gruul rather than risk his twilight dragon, and the two battered each other as Dick recognized Old Gods’ corruption in Deathwing’s tentacle and readied the Dragon Aspects.

Dick stripped Deathwing of the Earthen Power and helped the Dragon Aspects destroy him, then led Azeroth’s forces to defeat the Burning Legion’s invasion of Xakan. After forging new ties with Xakan, Dick uncovered Xe’ra’s prophecy and confronted an Eredar attack near Azuremyst Isle, where Velen discovered the wounded captain was his son, Rakeesh.

• Dick and the Dragon Aspects battled Deathwing, and Dick entered Khaz'goroth's Stone to strip Neltharion of the Earthen Power before the Aspects combined their powers to destroy him.
• Sinestra accepted leadership of the black dragons, and Dick named her Black Dragon Queen and gave her Khaz'goroth's Stone.
• Dick accepted the surviving Twilight Dragon egg and named it Alduin, then learned the Burning Legion had invaded a nearby world and prepared to recruit its people as allies.
• The Legion attacked Draenor, where Azeroth’s forces and the defenders fought back, while Dick prepared Lei Shen constructs and led the First Fleet through the Sargerite Keystone portal.
• Dick’s fleet arrived above Xakan and defeated the Legion’s forces, while Anduin, Garrosh, and the ODST assault squads attacked the demons on the ground.
• Dick and Maltai arranged trade and military training between Azeroth and Xakan, and Dick returned to Azeroth after receiving an urgent message.
• Dick helped Azshara uncover a Naaru crystal’s hidden prophecy, and O'ros revealed Xe'ra’s vision of Sargeras, Illidan, and Azshara as Dick argued that their choices shaped the future.
• Dick brought Velen, Azshara, and Maraad to a secret starport to confront attacking Eredar ships, and Velen recognized their wounded captain as his son, Rakeesh.

Dick brought the Army of the Light and Azeroth’s forces together while Velen confronted the cost of abandoning Argus and Alleria was freed from the Void’s influence. The expedition reached Argus and prepared to face Kil'jaeden, but Freya revealed that Eonar and the Creator's Chamber were under attack.

• Rakeesh killed Velen in revenge for being left behind, but Dick used Redemption to revive Velen and claimed Rakeesh’s life in return.
• Dick confronted Kil'jaeden and searched the Eredar Twins’ memories, while Maiev’s scouts and the Krokuun Tribe began working together on Argus.
• Sylvanas and Alleria reunited with Turalyon, who returned to Azeroth with them and Hatuun, and Velen later faced Hatuun’s anger and offered the Krokuun a new spiritual path.
• Dick learned that Alleria had embraced the Void, then expelled it from her with a Solar Lance and destroyed Veilwalker.
• Dick organized a new expedition to Argus, while Azeroth’s factions and Draenor’s leaders prepared to join the wider struggle for space travel and new worlds.
• Jorach and his allies killed Imonar and captured his demon soul, then received Eonar’s plea for help as Aggramar’s corruption threatened her.
• Dick and Odyn brought the Valarjar and their allies to Argus, where they cleared Krokuun, prepared its people for evacuation, and rallied its defenders against Kil'jaeden’s army.
• Kil'jaeden ordered his demons to assault the Vanguard’s walls, while Freya told Dick that Eonar and the Creator's Chamber were under attack beyond Argus.

Dick rescued Eonar, helped Azeroth’s forces defeat the Legion at Krokuun, and killed the corrupted Aggramar while the war spread across Argus. After Kil’jaeden’s defeat, Dick called for an interstellar federation and set the assault on Antorus for three days later.

• Dick entered the Creator’s Chamber, freed Eonar from the demons, and escaped with her as the chamber collapsed, though Kil’jaeden ambushed him before a green glow carried Dick and his allies away.
• Anduin and Garrosh rallied Azeroth’s commanders for the invasion of Argus, while Elune restored Eonar and Eonar vowed to deal with N’Zoth’s lingering corruption.
• Dick and his allies fought across Krokuun and Mac’Aree as Uther and Anarell defeated Hasabel’s forces, and Kil’jaeden recognized that Azeroth was preparing a major war.
• Aggramar shattered the Krokuun Wall, so Dick and Odyn drew him through a Sargerite gateway, where Elune and Eonar helped Dick enter Aggramar’s soul and kill him, restoring Taeshalach.
• Velen unleashed the Black Crystal’s arcane storm against the Legion, and Thorim, Hodir, and Ignis gave their lives defending the Krokuun forces from Kil’jaeden’s bombardment.
• Azeroth’s fleet arrived at Krokuun, destroyed much of the demon fleet, and helped Dick defeat Varimathras and Kil’jaeden, opening the route to the Antoran Wastes.
• As Azeroth’s leaders debated the Eredar and the future of the war, Dick argued for an interstellar federation, issued an order banning large-scale wars on Azeroth for a century, and announced the assault on Antorus in three days.
