Background / History

Transmigration and survival plan

Shihui was a salaried worker in his previous life who played a Naruto mobile game and read a Gu Master novel before awakening in the Shinobi World. Reborn as Shibi Aburame’s son and Shino’s older brother, he retained knowledge of the original Naruto story but possessed no innate Kekkei Genkai 1.

Expecting increasingly destructive battles, he regarded the Aburame Clan’s existing techniques as insufficient protection. The Great Love Immortal Venerable Achievement System gave him another route to strength by awarding Gu for completed achievements 1 3.

He deliberately pursued medical ninjutsu to attract Tsunade’s attention and secure protection from a powerful mentor. Through Shibi’s connections, he entered Konoha Hospital and displayed his talent under Rika Miyata, hoping Hiruzen would persuade Tsunade to return 3.

Academy and apprenticeship

Before starting at the Ninja Academy, Shihui signed a Kikaichū contract alongside Shino and learned Chakra Scalpel. He treated enrollment as an opportunity to meet more characters and unlock achievements, promptly befriending Naruto despite the other students’ hostility toward him 4 5.

His medical talent brought Tsunade and Hiruzen to his classroom. After witnessing Chakra Scalpel and experiencing his unusual physical strength, Tsunade offered him a two-day trial. He then used Bookworm Gu to absorb fifteen medical books, passed her knowledge test, and received direct instruction in medical ninjutsu 11 12 14 16 17.

He increasingly stayed at the old Senju residence with Tsunade and Shizune. Their relationship developed beyond formal instruction: Tsunade cared for him when exhausted, while his behavior repeatedly reminded her of Nawaki 27 35 46.

Helping his classmates

Shihui arranged for Naruto to meet Might Guy as a taijutsu teacher and later gave him a cookbook associated with Minato and Kushina. He also taught Naruto and Ino to cook 31 36 37 47.

To help Hinata overcome her fear of fighting, he arranged a confrontation with her former bullies. Hinata awakened her Byakugan and defeated the three boys after he urged her to protect him 34.

His repeated victories over Sasuke became both a source of achievements and a developing friendship. By their later training sessions, Shihui was teaching Sasuke how to control chakra through his feet 19 24 41 50.

Planned test against a Chunin

After reading the Chunin Exam notices, Shihui considered confronting Aoi Rokushō with Shibi standing by. He wanted to measure himself against an ordinary Chunin and obtain the Sword of the Thunder God, but the supplied chapters do not show this plan being carried out 48.

Appearance

Shihui is repeatedly described as exceptionally handsome and notably composed for his age 5 12.

Personality

Shihui outwardly presents himself as calm, mature, and interested in a quiet life. His father trusts his independence, while Tsunade initially finds his composure reminiscent of Orochimaru. His provocative remarks nevertheless leave Shino repeatedly worrying that someone will beat him up 6 9 12 15.

He is pragmatic about both power and social standing. He pursues achievements through friendships, chooses Tsunade partly for her protection, and considers disguising his Gu as a Kekkei Genkai when secrecy becomes impractical. He avoids attracting dangerous attention before he has sufficient backing 3 5 12 48.

His opportunism coexists with practical kindness. He refuses to treat Naruto as a monster, holds back heavily during their spar, feeds and escorts Hinata, and teaches classmates skills they lack. He also keeps his promise to spar with Naruto before accepting Sasuke’s challenge 5 16 18 47 50.

He dislikes having his head patted or his hair mussed, a reaction Tsunade learns to exploit when teasing him 13 22 45.
