Background / History

Death and Reincarnation

Lu Chenxing originally lived in Great Xia on Blue Star. He died after encountering a Dayun truck overtaking in the opposite lane on a mountain bend, then was reborn into the Lu Household with his memories intact. His new parents were Lu Yunzhao and Zhong Hui 1 3.

After binding his cultivation-feedback system to Great Xia, he deliberately displayed unusual infant behavior to attract the attention of the clan’s cultivators. Lu Yunzhao brought him to his grandfather, Lu Xuanqing, whose books provided access to the Basic Qi Refining Instruction 1 2.

Bringing Cultivation to Great Xia

Lu Chenxing chose to entrust the cultivation method to Great Xia’s government rather than distribute it privately, reasoning that a stable, nationally organized cultivation society would best support the system’s feedback. His subsequent shipment included a Spirit-Sensing Stone, five hundred Spirit Stones, cultivation books, and a letter explaining his reincarnation and system 2 3.

Unable to fund this effort through Lu Xuanqing alone, he proposed seeking the entire clan’s support. Lu Changfeng accepted him as the household’s hope after confirming his cultivation and hearing him speak. Lu Changgeng and Lu Xuanming also became devoted patrons, supplying gifts that Lu Chenxing forwarded to Great Xia 7 8 9.

He asked the nation to care for his previous-life parents and treat his younger brother’s congenital blindness. Great Xia’s reply promised unconditional trust and extensive support for his family, relieving one of his greatest worries 10 14.

Establishing a Cross-World Resource Network

Great Xia’s successful replication of Law Artifacts changed Lu Chenxing’s plans. Rather than relying indefinitely on the Lu Household’s limited reserves, he began supplying manufacturing materials and selling the finished artifacts in the cultivation world. He directed the proceeds toward Spirit Stones, further materials, and knowledge of alchemy, artifact refining, talismans, and formations 20 21 22.

After his Foundation Establishment breakthrough, he continued sending increasingly large shipments. One included 150,000 Spirit Stones alongside materials and auxiliary-path inheritances. Great Xia expanded its production and research, while the resulting cultivation feedback continued strengthening him 23 24.

Lu Xuanqing’s Injury and First Expedition

When the Wang Household left Lu Xuanqing with shattered meridians, a damaged Dantian, and a collapsed foundation, Lu Chenxing promised to restore his cultivation. He learned that a fifth-tier Nirvana Pill or Heavenly Spirit Liquid could accomplish this. Despite his anger, he opposed an immediate attack on the Wang Household because its unusual dagger and defensive preparations made casualties too likely 25 26.

A later visit to his parents in Spirit Creek Town strengthened his conviction that his Dao was protection. On the return journey, he persuaded Lu Changfeng to show him the cultivation world. Their trip through the Cloud-Soaring Mountain Range culminated in Lu Chenxing killing a second-tier Black Cloud Leopard with coordinated techniques and a flying sword 27 28 29.

Nuclear Defense and Retaliation

Lu Chenxing had requested nuclear weapons as insurance against threats beyond the Lu Household’s strength. Great Xia supplied a launcher and a ten-megaton warhead, which he called Truth 18 20.

That preparation became decisive when twelve Foundation Establishment cultivators broke through the household’s unfinished protective formation. Rather than allow Lu Changfeng to sacrifice himself covering an escape, Lu Chenxing used Truth against the attackers 36 38.

A surviving mirror fragment revealed that the invaders belonged to the Blazing Yang Sect, Divine Fire Gate, and Zhao Household. Lu Chenxing urged retaliation and accompanied the elders as they destroyed the hostile forces. At the Divine Fire Gate, his first direct killing of another person deeply unsettled him, though he forced himself to continue fighting 39 40 41.

Spirit Mountains and Core Formation Preparations

After the retaliation, Lu Chenxing arranged to send the three defeated factions’ spirit mountains to Great Xia. Using Mountain-moving Talismans and a storage ring, he collected the Blazing Yang Sect’s mountain before retrieving the others. His accompanying letter described nuclear radiation’s effects and requested improved replacement weapons 41 43.

The subsequent expansion of Great Xia’s cultivation population accelerated his feedback. Cross-world trade also grew: one later incoming shipment was worth five million Spirit Stones. After reaching Foundation Establishment Peak, he set out with Lu Changfeng for an auction at Spirit Spring Market to purchase breakthrough resources 47 49 50.

Appearance

  • Infant features: Bright, large eyes and a handsome, fair, tender face 6 18.
  • Accelerated development: Can crawl at two and a half months old and walk, jump, and sprint by three and a half months 1 18.
  • Apparent age: Looks approximately two or three years old after reaching Foundation Establishment, despite being less than a year old 22 23.
  • Voice: Retains a babyish voice when speaking with his parents 27.

Personality

Lu Chenxing is protective and strongly attached to both of his families. His regret over leaving his previous-life parents and blind younger brother drives his request for national assistance. His affection for his reincarnated family gives that motivation a broader purpose: becoming strong enough to prevent another tragedy 10 27.

He is grateful rather than entitled about the Lu Household’s support. Even when initially dependent on Lu Xuanqing, he avoids taking all of the old man’s resources and privately promises repayment. Once he understands that the elders have risked their lives to finance his cultivation, he offers his artifact supply as a safer alternative 3 25 30.

His confidence is tempered by caution. He dreams of overwhelming strength and jokingly treats the Wang Household as a “beginner village boss,” yet refuses to let anger dictate an unfavorable battle. He also accepts the elders’ protection when he recognizes their concerns are justified 11 23 25 26.

Curiosity sometimes makes him impatient: he longs to experience the world he previously knew only through novels and eagerly challenges the Black Cloud Leopard. Nevertheless, witnessing human slaughter exposes the gap between his modern upbringing and the cultivation world’s brutality 23 29 40 41.

Abilities & Skills

Cultivation Return System

The system feeds the cultivation gains of Great Xia’s cultivators back to Lu Chenxing, allowing him to advance without relying on his own poor aptitude 1 2 18.

  • Benefits increase as Great Xia recruits and develops more cultivators 11 24 47.
  • Feedback depends on actual cultivation: Great Xia’s Spirit Stone shortages repeatedly halt his progress 21.
  • Does not remove major-realm bottlenecks or correct his poor natural aptitude; Foundation Establishment still requires four pills 22.
  • Inspires a proposed Spirit-Seizing Pill exploit involving Great Xia cultivators at Qi Refining Eleventh Layer; the supplied chapters do not show it being implemented 18.

Passage Between Two Worlds

The system opens a two-way transfer channel between Lu Chenxing’s world and Great Xia 1.

  • Can deliver items to any location he chooses within Great Xia 1.
  • Grants one transfer opportunity each month; unused opportunities accumulate 1.
  • A shipment from Great Xia back to him also consumes an opportunity 1.
  • Carries books, resources, artifacts, industrial products, and nuclear weapons 3 20 23.
  • Creates logistical trade-offs: receiving finished artifacts can delay his next outgoing resource shipment 21.

Sword Control and Five-Element Techniques

His complete five-element Spirit Root permits techniques from all five elements despite making ordinary cultivation extremely slow 18 23.

Technique Demonstrated function
Sword Control Technique Directs a flying sword with Spiritual Power and Divine Sense; develops from awkward movement to precise, thought-guided attacks 23.
Metal Spear Technique Forms a golden spear of Spiritual Power capable of blasting a deep crater into the ground 23.
Quicksand Technique Softens solid ground to obstruct movement and disrupt charges 23 29.
Fireball Technique Fire-element technique practiced during his combat training 23.
Rain Needle Technique Water-element technique used in his combination against the Black Cloud Leopard 23 29.
Vine Technique Wood-element technique used alongside Quicksand and Rain Needle to prepare a finishing sword strike 23 29.
  • Defeats a Foundation Establishment Early Stage Black Cloud Leopard without relying on greater cultivation than the beast 29.
  • His use of multiple elements contradicts his claimed wood-only Spirit Root, though Lu Changfeng chooses not to question him 29.

Artifact Refining

Lu Chenxing draws on artifact-refining insights from Great Xia and successfully produces a mid-grade Law Artifact on his first attempt 31.

  • Uses a second-tier artifact cauldron in the household’s abandoned Alchemy Chamber 31.
  • Improves his speed and reduces stamina expenditure through repeated practice over nearly twenty days 31.

Divine Sense and Investigation

  • Searches beast habitats for spirit herbs and other valuable materials 28.
  • Examines a surviving mirror fragment and witnesses past events that identify the household’s attackers 38 39.
  • Discovers that nuclear radiation particles can attack Divine Sense and injure souls; ordinary Spiritual Power can safely capture them 38.

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Supreme-grade Spirit Artifact flying sword — Replaces his earlier low-grade flying sword. Its Spirit Siphoning formation drains enemy Spiritual Power during artifact clashes, while Spellbreaking improves penetration of Spiritual Power defenses, subject to the opponent’s strength 35.
  • Two spirit talismans — Received with the upgraded sword; activated instantly through Spiritual Power but usable only once each 35.
  • Truth nuclear weapon system — Great Xia-supplied launcher and ten-megaton warhead used to defeat the twelve-cultivator assault. Before his later market trip, he teaches the elders how to operate the launcher and shelter from its blast 20 36 38 50.
  • Storage bags — Used to carry cross-world shipments, cultivation resources, and slain Demon Beasts 9 18 28.
  • Storage ring and Mountain-moving Talismans — Used together to collect spirit mountains for transport to Great Xia 43.
  • Second-tier artifact cauldron — Used for his personal artifact-refining practice 31.
  • Ancient bronze mirror fragment — Survives the nuclear explosion and reveals historical scenes when examined with Divine Sense 38 39.
