Reincarnation and Family Tragedy

Ye Han died after being struck by a dump truck and reincarnated as the son of two pure-blooded members of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. Before his birth, his parents overheard Tang Hao and Tang Xiao discussing Ah Yin’s identity as a Soul Beast. The brothers pursued them despite their promise of silence, and their own clan expelled them rather than risk offending the Clear Sky Twin Stars 1.

His parents fled to the empire’s northern border and adopted the surname Ye both to conceal their identities and to reject the clan that abandoned them. Tang Hao eventually found them and inflicted fatal injuries while Ye Han remained hidden in a basement. After their deaths, Ye Han preserved their bodies in an ice cave and swore to avenge them and achieve whatever level of godhood was necessary to resurrect them 1.

Joining Spirit Hall

After two and a half months of travel, Ye Han reached Spirit City exhausted, impoverished, and wearing ragged clothes. Ling Yuan intervened when an Awakening Hall attendant tried to turn him away, then personally awakened his twin Martial Souls 2.

Ye Han concealed his family history behind a fabricated account of being raised by a grandfather. The Dragon God subsequently appeared in his Sea of Consciousness and offered him an inheritance intended to avenge the Dragon God against the Divine Realm. Ye Han accepted while demanding privacy and protection 3 4.

Although he preferred Ling Yuan as his teacher, Ye Han reluctantly accepted Bibi Dong’s discipleship. Qian Daoliu arranged for Ling Yuan to remain his personal teacher and bodyguard, selected him as Qian Renxue’s fiancé, and gave him a ninety-thousand-year Soul Bone as a marriage gift 6.

Sunset Forest and the Conflict with Tang Hao

During his first Soul Ring hunt, Ye Han defeated Dugu Yan and Yu Tianheng with his head Soul Bone skill. He then offered to cure Dugu Bo’s poison in exchange for the immortal herbs at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, using threats against Dugu Yan to pressure him 14.

Ye Han later targeted Xiao Wu both for the Dragon God’s trials and to hurt Tang San. Ling Yuan captured her after exposing her Soul Beast identity. When Tang San attacked with a hidden weapon, Ye Han caught and redirected it; an unexpected gust altered its course and severely injured Tang San 23 25.

Tang Hao’s subsequent attack led Ye Han to believe Ling Yuan had died. He called upon the Dragon God, whose borrowed power shattered Tang Hao’s strongest attack but inflicted severe backlash on Ye Han. Ling Yuan revealed that she had used a feigned-death skill, rescued him, and withdrew rather than risk Tang Hao’s desperate counterattack 26 27.

Immortal Herbs and Qian Renxue

Xiao Wu mistook Ye Han’s divine aura for that of the Soul Beast God and became devoted to him. Ye Han branded her with a soul seal, completed the Third Trial, and afterward disclosed his divine inheritance to Ling Yuan 28 29.

At the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, he collected the immortal herbs and their seeds, distributed suitable herbs to his companions, and tempered himself using two opposing herbs and the spring waters. This elevated both Martial Souls to near-god grade 31 32.

Ye Han subsequently met Qian Renxue and won her acceptance by demonstrating his talent. She proposed that they marry when the continent was united; he promised to accomplish that unification and make her his empress. Their exchanged tokens were an Eight-Petal Immortal Orchid and her treasured forehead ornament 38 39.

Seclusion, Bibi Dong, and Investiture

News that the Heaven Dou Imperial Family intended to eliminate Ye Han prompted a two-year delay in his formal appointment. During that interval, he concentrated on the Dragon God’s treasures, reached rank forty, and acquired his fourth Soul Ring 39 41.

When Bibi Dong turned against him, Ye Han spent a second promised intervention from the Dragon God to implant his fourth Soul Skill in her mind. He combined its intimidation with threats to expose her murder of Qian Xunji and harm Yu Xiaogang, forcing her obedience. He later told Ling Yuan that he intended to use Bibi Dong’s authority to gain control of Spirit Hall 44 45 49.

After another half-month of cultivation, Ye Han reached 50% compatibility with the Three Supreme Treasures. Bibi Dong formally crowned and robed him as Holy Son, though an objection interrupted the ceremony afterward 50.

Personality

Ye Han’s central motivations are revenge and the resurrection of his parents. His hatred extends beyond their direct killers to the clans that enabled their deaths and to Tang Hao’s relatives. Nevertheless, he can postpone retaliation when acting immediately would endanger his long-term plans 1 7 13 39.

He is calculating and frequently uses his apparent innocence to manipulate others. He invents a sympathetic background, pretends to fall under Hu Liena’s mental skill, and exploits both secrets and supernatural intimidation to control Bibi Dong. When threatened by someone stronger, he is willing to comply outwardly until he can reverse the balance of power 3 20 22 44 45.

His possessiveness and cruelty coexist with genuine attachment to his companions. Ling Yuan’s apparent death drives him into a reckless attack, and her continued support leaves him determined to protect her. He also commits himself to safeguarding Qian Renxue and Spirit Hall from the future he remembers 7 26 29.

• Radiant Sacred Dragon: Specializes in defense, physical strength, direct attacks, and explosive power; classified as a power-attack Martial Soul 18.
• Dark Sacred Dragon: Specializes in control, disruption, concealment, and surprise attacks; classified as an agility-attack Martial Soul 18.
