Sean was born and raised in Wealth Village. After awakening his Martial Soul and cultivating beyond rank twenty, he spent several years roaming the world before returning home to work under Grant. At his introduction, he is the village’s only Soul Master apart from Grant 21.

Grant once saved Sean’s life, creating a debt Sean considers worth repaying with his own. By the time he accompanies Su Lin to Heaven Dou City, he has served Grant for nearly twenty years and knows his habits well enough to recognize when he is quietly arranging something important 24 27.

His stern appearance conceals a warmer, occasionally comic side. After the wolf battle, he enthusiastically proposes turning the carcasses into winter clothes for the children while his own abdominal wound is still bleeding.
