Personality

Gu Na’s initially icy demeanor conceals an excitable, curious personality. Once beyond the original Silver Dragon King’s divine sense, she begins skipping happily and openly celebrates her chance to explore the human world. Food is a particular enthusiasm: she secretly studies human fish-grilling techniques and later eats so much on Spirit City’s snack street that spectators organize bets on how far she will continue 85 87 89.

She protects her mission through deception and caution. She invents a missing-brother story to explain her journey, secretly observes Yu Tianling before approaching him, and initially refuses to identify herself in case he is hostile to Soul Beasts. Although she longs to become a real person, she places the Soul Beast Clan’s future first 88 90 91.

Her restraint and pride appear together. She frightens threatening gamblers with her Soul Rings rather than attacking them, but angrily challenges Yu Tianling when he does not reveal his Martial Soul. After joining him, she becomes openly affectionate and enthusiastic, calling him “Big Brother” and celebrating his victories 89 90 98 101.

The Silver Dragon Spear serves as Gu Na’s weapon and is identified as her Martial Soul when Yu Tianling introduces her to his companions 90 91.

History

Creation and Mission

The injured Silver Dragon King creates Gu Na at the Lake of Life to seek the newly appeared God of War. Believing him connected to Spirit Hall, she sends Gu Na toward Spirit City to obtain his assistance for the Soul Beast Clan. Gu Na leaves without alerting Di Tian or the other Soul Beasts, while her original body returns to sleep 85.

Meeting Yu Tianling

Gu Na encounters Yu Tianling, Ye Lingling, and Ye Mengyang while unsuccessfully trying to catch fish. After more than two hours without a catch, she accepts their help, shares Yu Tianling’s grilled fish, and joins their journey to Spirit City 87.

She conceals her purpose with a fabricated account of a ruined family and missing older brother. After separating from the group in Spirit City, she explores its snack street before divine-power fluctuations draw her to Yu Tianling’s courtyard 88 89 90.

Caught spying, Gu Na challenges Yu Tianling rather than immediately revealing her identity. He defeats and disarms her without using his Martial Soul. She then explains her origin and asks him to help Soul Beasts return to the Divine Realm. Yu Tianling promises assistance, outlines his plan to gather divine allies, and invites her to live with his companions 90 91.

War Against the Yu Clan

After completing the Dragon Phoenix trial with Yu Tianling, Gu Na becomes a regular participant in Spirit Hall’s military planning. She helps attack the Sunset Forest branch, flanks Lan Xiao, and mobilizes Soul Beast tribes against the Yu Clan’s hunters 92 93 94.

She subsequently joins the ambushes against Yu Tianyu and Jade Thunder Mountain, then provides the spatial passage used to infiltrate Purple Thunder Pass. During the main confrontation, she and Zhu Zhuqing lead Soul Beast forces against the Yu Clan’s flank and disrupt its formation 94 95 96 97 98.

When the conflict expands, Gu Na and Zhu Zhuqing suppress Ning Fengzhi while Yu Tianling fights Tang Chen. She also fights the arriving Shrek group as Spirit Hall secures victory 99 100.

Sea God Island and Continental Campaign

Gu Na accompanies Yu Tianling and Zhu Zhuqing on the expedition to Sea God Island. She recruits deep-sea allies, pressures the island’s perimeter, sabotages the Light Alliance’s supply lines, and leads an eastern assault against its fleet while Zhu Zhuqing attacks from the west 104 105 106 108.

Following the expedition, she reports that the deep-sea Soul Beasts have submitted and proposes incorporating them into the Dragon Phoenix Legion’s navy. During the subsequent continental offensive, she and Zhu Zhuqing rout White Tiger Legion units as Yu Tianling’s forces advance on Heaven Dou City 108 109.

Ascension and the Divine Court

After three years of preparation, Gu Na joins Bibi Dong, Qian Renxue, and Zhu Zhuqing in Yu Tianling’s collective ascension. She becomes the God King-level Nether Sea Flood Dragon God through the union of Soul Beast origins and forest and ocean fortune 110.

She then accompanies Yu Tianling into the Divine Realm. Their faction suppresses the veteran God Kings’ resistance and establishes the Dragon Phoenix Divine Court 110.

• Silver Dragon King — Original body and creator. Separates part of her divine soul to form Gu Na and entrusts her with finding an ally for the Soul Beast Clan 85 91.
