Fang Yuan kicked the door open and roared, "Qinglang, get your ass out here!"

Clang, clang, clang...

Iron rods struck the railing on the warehouse's second floor, ringing out with loud metallic clangs.

A gang of thugs carrying iron rods appeared on the second floor, clustered around Qinglang.

Qinglang glared fiercely. "You actually dared to come. You really aren't afraid to die."

Fang Yuan clenched his fists and glared at Qinglang, snapping, "Qinglang, if you've got a grudge, come at me! What kind of man kidnaps my sister?"

"So I kidnapped her. What can you do about it?" Qinglang rested both hands on the railing and looked down at Fang Yuan, his eyes full of provocation.

"You must have forgotten how badly I beat you last time."

Fang Yuan's mention of their last encounter left Qinglang's face contorted with anger.

"Badly? Not as badly as your old man. I'm the one who broke his hand. Isn't that a nice surprise?" Qinglang gave a vicious grin of satisfaction.

Fang Yuan hadn't known about this. At the sudden revelation, surprise flashed across his face before turning to fury. "I should have killed you last time!"

"Still thinking of killing me? You're the one who's dying this time!"

As Qinglang spoke, he turned to someone behind him and said in a slightly respectful tone, "Brother Viper, that's the brat."

At his words, a man with a viper tattoo across his shoulder and neck emerged on the second floor. He braced both hands on the railing and gave Fang Yuan an indifferent glance.

His eyes were like those of a venomous snake, with a reptilian chill visible within them.

"Qinglang, you actually got beaten up by a high schooler. What an eye-opener." Viper gave Qinglang a contemptuous glance.

"He's hard to deal with. His speed and strength are both very high," Qinglang hastily argued.

Viper looked at Fang Yuan mockingly and teased, "Hey, kid! You dared to come here alone. Aren't you afraid to die?"

Fang Yuan channeled Star Power into his eyes to examine this "Brother Viper's" stats.

According to statistics from the awakened database, the attribute limit for a Lv.2 awakened was 29 points.

Yet this man's agility had reached an astonishing 32.4, while his strength was 28.8.

Judging by these stats, he had already achieved the dual-high attribute configuration required of a super soldier.

His agility was even off the charts, exceeding his level's upper limit.

This man's stats were outrageous. He was terrifyingly powerful.

Compared to him, Qinglang was nothing but trash.

No wonder Qinglang called him "Brother Viper."

He had previously read an issue of an awakened journal at school that introduced the unusual Superpower Trait, "Viper Muscles."

Among transformation-type superpowers, "Viper Muscles" was classified as an internal transformation.

Qinglang's superpower was an external transformation. When he used it, his right hand turned into a wolf claw.

"Viper Muscles," meanwhile, was a permanent internal transformation. It wasn't visible from the outside; what changed were the muscles inside the body.

Normally, an adult human had 700-800 muscles throughout their body, while snakes had 10,000-15,000.

This was evident from Viper's stats panel. His 28.8 strength was the enhanced value; his base strength was actually 24. His 32.4 agility was also an enhanced value.

Viper and Qinglang pressed their palms against the railing, vaulted over it, and jumped down from the second floor.

The dozen or so remaining henchmen came down the stairs on either side with their iron rods, forming a circle around Fang Yuan.

Qinglang grinned viciously. "One phone call, and you came running to your death. I honestly don't know whether you're brave or stupid."

As he spoke, he activated his superpower. His right hand rapidly transformed into a wolf claw, its sharp talons reflecting a sinister, icy gleam in the night.

Fang Yuan truly felt immense pressure and glanced at his own stats panel.

Four attributes: strength 23, agility 19, physique 14, spirit 20

Rage Points: 510

With his current stats, his physique was too low. A single punch from Viper's terrifying 28.8 strength would punch a hole through him.

And with his opponent's incredibly high agility of 32.4, dodging his Snake Fist was almost impossible.

Given the current situation, putting all his Rage Points into strength would raise it to 28.

But 28 strength would only put him on par with Viper. It wouldn't turn the situation around.

If he put them into physique, he could raise it to 19, which wouldn't do a damn thing either.

Increasing spirit would be even more useless. He had no spirit-type offensive superpower at all.

That left only one option: increasing agility.

Fang Yuan rapidly ran the calculations in his head.

His agility was currently 19. Putting all his Rage Points into agility would bring his base agility to 24.

His Star Slot Trait, "Advanced Agility Enhancement," was still there. With 24 agility, a 40% increase would make it...

33.6!

Fang Yuan made his decision immediately and put all his Rage Points into agility.

Viper cracked his knuckles and walked toward him step by step, preparing to crush Fang Yuan to death.

Qinglang also advanced step by step, ready to attack alongside Viper.

Facing Viper alone was already like dancing on blades. With his physique of 14, a single punch from his opponent would mean game over.

Facing Viper and Qinglang together would be even harder.

I have to one-shot one of them first!

Fang Yuan made his decision instantly, and the Star Power inside him surged wildly.

"Advanced Agility Enhancement" activated, sending his agility soaring to 33.6. His speed instantly surpassed Viper's and utterly overwhelmed Qinglang's.

A fierce glint flashed in Fang Yuan's eyes. He exploded into motion, his body shooting forward as thirty-six streams of Star Power erupted, driving a Thunder Fist into Qinglang's abdomen.

Qinglang didn't even have a chance to react before the tremendous force of the punch bent him into a bow and blasted him straight backward.
