Jiang Jie fought Ysondre, an ancient green dragon empowered by the Emerald Nightmare, while trying to protect Sharpbeak and survive her devastating attacks. After buying time in the air, he was joined by Anveena and called on her to merge with him.

• Ysondre blasted Jiang Jie with a Nightmare Essence Orb, and its shockwave gravely injured Sharpbeak and began corrupting him.
• Jiang Jie used Strom'kar, the Shadow Phoenix, nature energy, and Chi to treat Sharpbeak, then sent him to find Anveena and bring her back.
• Ysondre's Nightmare Blossoms summoned Dread Horrors and corrupted Druid souls, but Jiang Jie charged her and crushed the spirits while avoiding the ground-bound creatures.
