Arc 33From Auchindoun to Ahn'Qiraj

Jiang Jie resolved the crises in Auchindoun, the Mana-Tombs, and Sethekk Halls, then helped drive Dimensius from Outland. After returning to Azeroth, he joined the battle of Ahn'Qiraj, where the Twin Emperors revealed that the fighting was feeding C'Thun's release ritual and Jiang Jie raced toward the imprisoned ancient dragons.

  • Jiang Jie restored D'ore and brought peace to the dead of Auchindoun, then gained access to T'uure's knowledge through its fragment.
  • Jiang Jie killed Shaffar, forced Murmur back to its own world, and absorbed purified soul energy under an agreement with Haramad.
  • Jiang Jie cleansed Sethe's soul from Anzu's mental world, restoring Anzu to demigod strength.
  • Jiang Jie joined Kael'thas, Anzu, and the Ethereals to fight Dimensius, using the Elemental Furies' power to drive it from Outland.
  • Jiang Jie returned to Azeroth, and Shiroma struck the Scarab Gong to begin the battle of Ahn'Qiraj.
  • Jiang Jie, Malfurion, Tyrande, Uther, and Old Chen entered the temple, defeated its guardians, and confronted the Twin Emperors.
  • Malfurion realized that the battle's deaths were fueling a ritual to free C'Thun, so Jiang Jie left the others to fight the Twin Emperors and raced toward C'Thun.
  • C'Thun drew Jiang Jie into a mental world, and Jiang Jie reached a side hall to rescue three ancient dragons imprisoned since the War of the Shifting Sands.
Chapters 804–828 Vol. 9 Read

Ch. 804After the Four Symbols, distinguish the Five Phases (1/2)

Jiang Jie explored the elemental world and considered how to develop his Five Movements Realm by joining the four elements with nature, life, death, and the soul. After discussing the Cipher of Damnation with Nobundo, Jiang Jie set out for Auchindoun while Nobundo stayed in Outland to restore its elements.

  • Jiang Jie experienced unity with the elements and reflected on how the Shaman's path connected with the Way of Nature.
  • Jiang Jie rejected relying on the five Dragon Aspects and considered making life and death, soul and decay, the fifth phase alongside earth, fire, water, and wind.
  • Jiang Jie told Nobundo that the four lesser Elemental Spirits would help resolve the Cipher of Damnation, and suggested the Draenei settle on Azuremyst Isle and Bloodmyst Isle.
  • Nobundo chose to remain in Outland to calm its chaotic elements and heal the wounds of the earth.
  • Nobundo warned Jiang Jie that only the Holy Light could save the tormented souls at Auchindoun, and Jiang Jie departed for the tomb.

Ch. 805Auchenai Crypts (Part 2 of 2)

Jiang Jie entered the Auchenai Crypts, where he revealed that the Naaru D'ore was the true source of the Draenei souls’ unrest. He told the surviving Draenei that Velen and other Draenei were alive, then led them into the crypts to confront Archbishop Maladaar and investigate D'ore.

  • Jiang Jie entered the Auchenai Crypts and met Ramdor the Mad and a group of displaced Draenei pilgrims.
  • Jiang Jie told Ramdor that D'ore, not Archbishop Maladaar, was denying the Draenei souls their rest.
  • Jiang Jie showed the Draenei a fragment of T'uure and told them that Velen, Nobundo, and other Draenei were still alive.
  • Ramdor and the other Draenei knelt before the Naaru fragment and asked Jiang Jie to defeat Maladaar and redeem D'ore.
  • Jiang Jie said he needed to see D'ore first, then led the Draenei deeper into the Auchenai Crypts.

Ch. 806The Emissary of the Holy Light (1/2)

Jiang Jie led Ramdor and the Draenei into the Auchenai Crypts, where the fragment of T'uure restored hope and answered the people’s prayers. As Jiang Jie freed the dead and defeated Shirrak, he reached the Tombs of Remembrance, where Archbishop Maladaar confronted the sight of T'uure’s fragment.

  • Jiang Jie entered the Auchenai Crypts with Ramdor and the Draenei, whose people had turned to necromancy after believing their kin were dead and learning that D'ore absorbed souls.
  • Ramdor announced that Prophet Velen and Archbishop Nobundo were alive and called Jiang Jie an emissary of the Holy Light, prompting the living Draenei and dead souls to kneel as T'uure's fragment dispelled Shadow.
  • Shirrak attacked Jiang Jie and his companions, but T'uure's fragment killed the Legendary Observer at Jiang Jie's command.
  • Jiang Jie restored the desecrated Draenei corpses in the Hall of the Unresting to rest, and their freed souls joined the gathering host behind him.
  • Jiang Jie reached the Tombs of Remembrance, where Archbishop Maladaar saw T'uure's fragment and cried out in astonishment.

Ch. 807Reviving a Naaru (Part 2 of 2)

Jiang Jie revived the Dark Naaru D'ore, ending Exarch Maladaar’s despair and restoring his faith and purpose. D'ore then awakened the fragment of T'uure, leaving Jiang Jie with a brilliantly restored relic.

  • Ramdor and Exarch Maladaar argued over whether the Draenei dead should be laid to rest or resurrected, while Jiang Jie identified D'ore as the root of their conflict.
  • Jiang Jie removed the stone coffin lid and used Holy Light to complete D'ore’s recovery.
  • D'ore revived at demigod strength, and the Draenei knelt before it.
  • D'ore comforted Maladaar and invited him to help soothe the dead and guard Auchindoun, and Maladaar accepted.
  • D'ore asked Jiang Jie for the fragment of T'uure and used their shared origin to awaken it.

Ch. 808Mana-Tombs (1/2, Still in the Hospital, Struggling to Write, ...

Jiang Jie obtained the fragment of T'uure and left the Auchenai Crypts, then went to the Mana-Tombs to deal with the Ethereals and seek insight into souls. He told them that Dimensius had come to this world and that he knew a way to deal with it.

  • D'ore explained T'uure's sacrifice and gave Jiang Jie access to the Naaru's knowledge through the fragment.
  • Jiang Jie decided the fragment fulfilled his main goal and offered to deal with the threats troubling D'ore.
  • Jiang Jie left the Auchenai Crypts and headed to the Mana-Tombs, where he sensed the Ethereals' Arcane and Shadow energy.
  • An Ethereal warned Jiang Jie to leave the Mana-Tombs, which the Consortium claimed as its territory.
  • Jiang Jie asked the Ethereal to notify Nexus-Prince Haramad that Dimensius had come to this world and that he had a way to deal with it.

Ch. 809Young Man, You Need to Prove Yourself! (Part 2 of 2)

Jiang Jie discussed Dimensius with Nexus-Prince Haramad and offered to bring the Naaru into an alliance with the Consortium. Haramad agreed to consider his help but demanded that Jiang Jie prove himself by dealing with Shaffar and Murmur first.

  • Jiang Jie explained the Ethereals' three factions and suggested that the Naaru could help the Consortium defeat Dimensius.
  • Haramad's devices scanned Jiang Jie, revealing his many forms of energy, while Haramad warned that Dimensius could devour planets and could not truly be killed.
  • Haramad revealed that the Ethereals had found a way to weaken and drive Dimensius off the Shattered World, but needed allies to act on the opportunity.
  • Haramad tasked Jiang Jie with entering the sealed Mana-Tombs, killing Shaffar, and retrieving his Ethereal Soul Collector.
  • Haramad also told Jiang Jie to stop Murmur from entering the world, offering ample compensation if he completed both tasks.

Ch. 810Sweeping All Before Him (1/2)

Jiang Jie entered the Mana-Tombs with Captain Kaftiz and the Consortium’s engineers, overcoming Shaffar’s guards and defenses. They reached a damaged cavern as Jiang Jie continued his search for Shaffar.

  • Jiang Jie agreed to pursue Shaffar and retrieve his head and spirit collector, while Prince Haramad asked him to spare the other Ethereals.
  • Captain Kaftiz and the engineers opened the sealed entrance to the Mana-Tombs.
  • Ethereal scavengers loyal to Shaffar blocked Jiang Jie, but his giant Chi hand captured them despite their phase shifting.
  • The scavengers surrendered, and Jiang Jie told Kaftiz to report that Haramad would owe him payment for their lives.
  • Jiang Jie advanced through the Mana-Tombs as the engineers disabled its defenses, and the group reached a damaged cavern.

Ch. 811I don't like being threatened (2/2)

Jiang Jie fought through Shaffar’s Ethereal forces in the Mana-Tombs and killed the Nexus-Prince after rejecting his attempt to bargain. With Shaffar defeated and the Ethereal Soul Collectors still intact, Jiang Jie told Kaftiz to summon Haramad so they could discuss payment.

  • Jiang Jie’s group entered the Mana-Tombs, where he used Xal'atath to destroy Pandemonius and the Nexus Terrors.
  • Kaftiz explained that Shaffar had allied with Dimensius, and Jiang Jie noted that other Ethereals had likely betrayed their people as well.
  • Jiang Jie and the Ethereals fought deeper into the cave until they encountered Nexus-Prince Shaffar surrounded by hundreds of Ethereals.
  • Shaffar offered Jiang Jie a better deal than Haramad and threatened to destroy the Ethereal Soul Collectors if Jiang Jie refused.
  • Jiang Jie rejected Shaffar’s threat, charged into his forces, and killed him with Xal'atath.
  • Jiang Jie told Kaftiz to have Haramad meet him so they could discuss his payment.

Ch. 812A Shortcut to Strengthening the Soul (1/2)

Jiang Jie negotiated with Nexus-Prince Haramad for purified soul energy to strengthen his soul, offering to help the Ethereals fight Dimensius in exchange. Haramad agreed, but asked Jiang Jie to deal with Murmur first.

  • Jiang Jie learned from Haramad that Ethereal Soul Collectors could format souls into pure, absorbable soul energy.
  • Jiang Jie explained that his soul was a weakness and that absorbing unpurified remnant souls risked dangerous instability.
  • Jiang Jie demanded all formatted soul energy collected so far and everything produced over the next five years in exchange for helping defeat Dimensius.
  • Haramad said purified soul energy could strengthen Ethereals but could not make them cross the threshold to Demigod.
  • Haramad accepted Jiang Jie's terms, asking him to deal with Murmur first, and Jiang Jie agreed.

Ch. 813Codex of Blood (2/2)

Jiang Jie entered the Shadow Labyrinth to stop the Shadow Council from summoning Murmur and took the Codex of Blood from Grandmaster Vorpil. He left Lord Jaraxxus to battle the demons and warlocks while he pursued the book’s secrets.

  • Jiang Jie met Ethereals outside the Shadow Labyrinth, learned about Murmur, and ordered them to explain the situation as they walked.
  • Jiang Jie opened the entrance and swept through the first hall with a Shadow Dragon.
  • Jiang Jie summoned Lord Jaraxxus to fight Ambassador Hellmaw and the Orc Warlocks while he continued deeper into the labyrinth.
  • Jiang Jie reached Grandmaster Vorpil, subdued him, and took the Codex of Blood.
  • Jiang Jie read that the Codex described how to summon Murmur, bind it, and absorb its power.

Ch. 814Murmur (1/2)

Jiang Jie confronted Murmur, an Elemental Lord of Sound that was breaking free from the Shadow Council's ritual in the Shadow Labyrinth. He suppressed Murmur's Magnetic Pull and forced the Orc Warlocks to resume binding it, leaving the elemental restrained as he advanced.

  • Jiang Jie sensed Murmur's power deep within the Shadow Labyrinth and learned that the dark ritual binding it had weakened after Grandmaster Vorpil's death.
  • Murmur slaughtered the Orc Warlocks and used Magnetic Pull to drag Jiang Jie toward it, but Jiang Jie countered the force with his Taiji Diagram.
  • Jiang Jie waited until Murmur had killed nearly half the Warlocks and regained peak high-tier legendary strength before expanding the Light and Shadow Taiji across the hall.
  • Jiang Jie freed the Warlocks from Magnetic Pull but trapped them behind an energy wall, ordered them to bind Murmur, and killed one with sword qi when they hesitated.
  • The Orc Warlocks resumed the dark ritual and bound Murmur again while Jiang Jie continued walking forward within his domain.

Ch. 815The Soul's Limit (Part 2 of 2)

Jiang Jie drove Murmur away, then absorbed pure soul energy from the Ethereal Soul Collector and doubled his soul strength. After leaving the Mana-Tombs, he headed for the last place in Auchindoun he had yet to visit: Sethekk Halls.

  • Jiang Jie used the Light and Shadow Taiji to suppress Murmur's sound attacks and force the Elemental Lord back to its own world.
  • Jiang Jie left the remaining Orc Warlocks to Lord Jaraxxus after learning that the demons and Orcs had been killed.
  • Prince Haramad arranged for his engineers to help Jiang Jie absorb pure soul energy from the Ethereal Soul Collector in the Mana-Tombs.
  • Jiang Jie spent three days absorbing the stored soul energy, raising his soul strength to the peak of High-tier Legendary.
  • Jiang Jie asked Kaftiz to tell Haramad he was interested in a long-term arrangement, then left for Sethekk Halls.

Ch. 816The history of Draenor (1/2)

Jiang Jie recalled Draenor’s ancient history and the rise and fall of its elemental and Arakkoa civilizations as he searched Sethekk Halls for Anzu. He sensed Sethe’s curse within the shadows and ordered Darkweaver Syth to take him to the Halls of Mourning and summon the Raven God.

  • Jiang Jie silently entered Sethekk Halls and brought Darkweaver Syth under his control.
  • Jiang Jie recounted how Aggramar created Grond to destroy the Everbloom, how Botaan killed Grond, and how their remains gave rise to Draenor’s later peoples.
  • Jiang Jie recounted how Rukhmar, Sethe, and Anzu shaped the Arakkoa, and how the Apexis civilization eventually fell despite Terokk’s efforts to restore it.
  • Jiang Jie sensed Sethe’s curse in the shadows and concluded that Sethe’s power had merged with Anzu.
  • Jiang Jie ordered Darkweaver Syth to lead him to the Halls of Mourning and summon Anzu, and Syth agreed.

Ch. 817The Raven God (Part 2 of 2)

Jiang Jie forced the Arakkoa to summon Anzu in his full form, then prepared to test his strength against the Raven God. Anzu offered him shadow power in exchange for help breaking Syth’s curse, and Jiang Jie asked him to also fight Dimensius.

  • Jiang Jie confronted Talon King Ikiss and demanded that he summon Anzu.
  • Ikiss and the Arakkoa priests performed a ritual to call down Anzu’s most powerful avatar, hoping the Raven God would kill Jiang Jie.
  • Jiang Jie used his power to kill Ikiss, Darkweaver Syth, and every Arakkoa priest, and their remains fueled Anzu’s complete descent.
  • Jiang Jie judged Anzu’s power to be comparable to that of Ursol or Ursoc and prepared to fight him.
  • Anzu offered Jiang Jie half of his shadow energy if Jiang Jie cleansed Syth’s curse, and Jiang Jie asked Anzu to help him fight Dimensius.

Ch. 818Soul Dragon Roaming (1/2)

Jiang Jie entered Anzu’s mental world to help him destroy Sethe’s soul and weaken the curse. He transformed into a soul dragon, found Sethe, and prepared to confront him.

  • Anzu explained that Sethe’s curse had bound him to shadow and that Jiang Jie had to enter his mental world and destroy Sethe’s soul.
  • Jiang Jie left his body and entered Anzu’s vast, dark mental world, where Anzu said he could not fight Sethe himself.
  • Jiang Jie explored the mental world and realized Sethe was hiding from him.
  • Jiang Jie transformed his soul into a dragon and raced through the mental world using Soul Dragon Roaming.
  • Jiang Jie found Sethe.

Ch. 819The Spiritual Mysteries of Demigods (Part 2 of 2)

Jiang Jie used Xal'atath to weaken Sethe and absorb much of his soul and Anzu's Shadow energy, then stopped once shadow balanced with the Holy Light. He left Anzu to finish destroying Sethe and departed for Netherstorm after giving Anzu ten days to fulfill his promise.

  • Jiang Jie confronted Sethe in Anzu's spiritual world and revealed Xal'atath, frightening the Wind Serpent God.
  • Sethe tried to persuade Jiang Jie to help kill Anzu, but Jiang Jie rejected him and attacked with Xal'atath.
  • Xal'atath devoured most of Sethe's soul and absorbed much of Anzu's Shadow energy while Jiang Jie maintained the balance of his Three Talents.
  • Jiang Jie stopped absorbing shadow when it reached balance with the Holy Light, leaving Sethe weakened enough for Anzu to destroy.
  • Jiang Jie asked Anzu for a ten-day estimate, reminded him that the Ethereals would contact him, and left for Netherstorm.

Ch. 820Meeting Kael'thas Again (1/2)

After half a month of training, Jiang Jie strengthened his mind, improved his abilities, and learned to travel in a true dragon form. He flew to Netherstorm to meet the Ethereals and found Anzu restored to demigod strength and Kael'thas waiting there.

  • Jiang Jie spent half a month at the Throne of the Elements, strengthening his mind and improving Soul Dragon Roaming, the Maw of the Damned, and the balance of the Three Talents.
  • Jiang Jie studied the Elemental Furies' teachings and T'uure's knowledge, making progress in converting between Holy Light and shadow.
  • Jiang Jie merged true essence and his soul to create a true dragon form that carried his body, greatly increasing his speed and mobility.
  • Jiang Jie flew to Netherstorm and marveled at the Ethereals' eco-domes amid the region's dangerous arcane and Void energies.
  • Captain Kaftiz brought Jiang Jie to Nexus-Prince Haramad, where he found Anzu restored to demigod strength and unexpectedly met Kael'thas.

Ch. 821Weakening Dimensius (Part 2 of 2)

Kael'thas explained that he had allied with the Naaru to rebuild the Sunwell and defeat Dimensius, and said he would return to Silvermoon City to become king afterward. The Protectorate outlined how its Phase Disruptors could weaken Dimensius, and the battle began with Jiang Jie, Anzu the Raven God, and Kael'thas facing him.

  • Kael'thas told Jiang Jie that M'uru had agreed to infuse the rebuilt Sunwell with Holy Light energy in exchange for help against Dimensius, and he planned to return to Silvermoon City and become king.
  • Prince Haramad named Prince Ameer to explain the plan for fighting Dimensius, who had partially entered Netherstorm and could travel between it and the Twisting Nether.
  • Ameer explained that the Protectorate's Phase Disruptors could sever Dimensius's connection to the Twisting Nether, and Ethereal technicians estimated that the weakened enemy would remain a manageable High-tier Legendary threat.
  • Ameer said the Ethereum had allied with Dimensius, forcing most Protectorate forces to fight them, while Jiang Jie and Kael'thas agreed to take on Dimensius in exchange for payment.
  • The Protectorate deployed Phase Disruptors to trap Dimensius in the physical world, then fought the Ethereum as Jiang Jie, Anzu the Raven God, and Kael'thas attacked.

Ch. 822Kael'thas's Seven Weapons (Part 1 of 2)

Jiang Jie, Al'ar, and Anzu battled Dimensius after the Ethereals' Phase Disruptors cut it off from the Twisting Nether. Kael'thas entered the fight with seven legendary weapons lent by the Naaru, raising his strength enough to face a Demigod, though he remained the weakest of the three.

  • The Ethereals used Phase Disruptors to prevent Dimensius from drawing on the Twisting Nether's power, weakening it enough for the attackers to challenge it.
  • Al'ar, Anzu, and Jiang Jie attacked Dimensius, while the Ethereals sealed its Void rifts and Nexus-Prince Haramad watched through a mirror-image double.
  • Dimensius unleashed devastating Shadow Bolts and a Void storm, killing approaching Ethereals and destroying floating islands despite its weakened state.
  • Kael'thas fought alongside Al'ar but struggled against Dimensius's attacks because his own power had not reached Demigod level.
  • Kael'thas summoned seven legendary weapons lent by the Naaru aboard Tempest Keep and used their powers to attack Dimensius and withstand its spells.
  • Jiang Jie judged that Kael'thas's weapons brought him close to Illidan's strength and let him stand against a Demigod, though Al'ar and Anzu were still stronger.

Ch. 823The power of all Outland (2/2)

Jiang Jie joined Anzu and Kael'thas in driving Dimensius out of Outland by channeling the world's elemental power, though the battle devastated Netherstorm. Afterward, Anzu and Kael'thas set out on their own missions, while Jiang Jie returned to Stratholme; the battle of Ahn'Qiraj began a week later.

  • Jiang Jie called on Outland's elementals, and the world's power answered through the four Elemental Furies.
  • Jiang Jie gathered earth, fire, water, and wind into a devastating punch that swallowed Dimensius in a collapsing sphere of space and drove him from Outland.
  • Dimensius's final counterattack shattered Netherstorm further, destroying more than a hundred floating islands and everyone caught in the battle zone except Jiang Jie, Anzu, and Kael'thas.
  • Nexus-Prince Haramad thanked Jiang Jie, Anzu, and Kael'thas through a mirror image and offered to help them travel to other worlds.
  • Anzu planned to rescue Terokk and rebuild the Arakkoa civilization, while Kael'thas planned to return the Seven Weapons, rebuild the Sunwell, and fight in the Ahn'Qiraj war.
  • Jiang Jie returned to Stratholme through the Gate of the Twisting Nether, and the battle of Ahn'Qiraj began one week later.

Ch. 824One person's eternity, one wall's cycle (3/3)

Azeroth’s races and the four great Dragonflights gathered at the Scarab Wall with an elite force to face the Qiraji. Jiang Jie gave Shiroma the Scepter of the Shifting Sands, and she struck the Scarab Gong, beginning the wall’s destruction and the coming battle.

  • The Zandalari Trolls, Forsaken, Horde, Alliance, other races, and four great Dragonflights assembled near the Scarab Wall with more than thirty thousand fighters.
  • Jiang Jie and Shiroma stood before the gathered leaders as they waited to see who would sound the Scarab Gong.
  • Shiroma recalled the War of the Shifting Sands and her thousand years guarding the wall, while Jiang Jie stepped aside out of respect for her sacrifice.
  • After her memories ended, Shiroma accepted the Scepter of the Shifting Sands from Jiang Jie.
  • Shiroma climbed to the gong and struck it with the scepter.

Ch. 825Storming Ahn'Qiraj (1/2)

The Scarab Wall collapsed, exposing the Qiraji to the allied forces, while Prince Thunderaan’s wind elementals devastated their ranks with a surprise tornado. Jiang Jie then led the start of the decisive battle, as the allies launched attacks across the Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj and sent strike teams against enemy commanders and the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj.

  • The Scarab Wall collapsed, and the allied commanders ordered their forces to prepare as the Qiraji swarms emerged.
  • Jiang Jie told the allied forces to hold position until Prince Thunderaan and his wind elementals swept through the Qiraji with a massive tornado, killing more than a hundred thousand insects before retreating.
  • Jiang Jie declared the decisive battle underway, and the allied forces attacked the scattered Qiraji across the vast Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj.
  • Tsul'Kalu, Ursol, Ursoc, and the allied armies fought the Anubisath and other Qiraji while mages, dragons, and holy warriors joined the battle.
  • Grom led Orcs to hunt General Rajaxx, Meryl and the three horsemen of Apocalypse went after Moam, and Kael'thas led Solarian and Telestra to confront Ossirian the Unscarred.
  • Malfurion, Tyrande, Uther, Old Chen, and Jiang Jie entered the plan to strike into the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj, where the Twin Emperors, a colossal sandworm, and C'Thun awaited.

Ch. 826Temple of Ahn'Qiraj (2/2)

Jiang Jie and four allies entered the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj to kill the Qiraji leaders before the insects could threaten the wider world. After defeating Prophet Skeram and resisting C'Thun's illusions, they descended into the temple, where Uther stayed behind to destroy and purify the Qiraji eggs.

  • Jiang Jie, Malfurion, Tyrande, Uther, and Old Chen entered the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj while Anveena concealed them from the Qiraji.
  • Malfurion restrained the temple guards as Uther and Old Chen defeated the Anubisath Sentinels and Obsidian Destroyers.
  • Jiang Jie killed Prophet Skeram and both of his True Mirror Images, then proceeded into the underground temple.
  • Jiang Jie and his companions resisted C'Thun's psychic illusions as they descended past the Qiraji eggs.
  • Uther chose to remain behind and destroy and purify the eggs while Jiang Jie and the others continued deeper.

Ch. 827The Twin Emperors

Jiang Jie and his companions fought through the Qiraji to reach the Twin Emperors, the powerful rulers of Ahn'Qiraj. The emperors rose to face the intruders, confident that C'Thun's power made them unbeatable.

  • Jiang Jie persuaded Uther to leave the insect eggs for later, and the group defeated Princess Yauj and her companions before clearing the chamber of insects.
  • Jiang Jie led the others toward the Twin Emperors' hall, following the darkness Malfurion sensed.
  • The group entered the temple and saw the Twin Emperors, Vek'nilash and Vek'lor, seated among dragon bones.
  • The Twin Emperors discussed their strength, the past war, and the battles involving Al'Akir and Thunderaan before rising to attack the intruders.

Ch. 828C'Thun's Mental World

Jiang Jie left the Twin Emperors to confront C'Thun while his companions fought the emperors, Ouro, and the Qiraji forces. C'Thun trapped Jiang Jie in a powerful mental world, but he reached a nearby side hall to rescue three ancient dragons imprisoned there.

  • Malfurion realized that deaths across Ahn'Qiraj fueled a ritual to free C'Thun, and the Twin Emperors revealed that the battle's sacrifices would break the Titan prison.
  • Jiang Jie told his companions to fight the Twin Emperors while he went to deal with C'Thun.
  • Old Chen attacked the Physical Emperor, Uther engaged the Magic Emperor, Malfurion confronted Ouro, and Tyrande defended the hall against the incoming Qiraji forces.
  • Jiang Jie sped through the enemies toward C'Thun's temple as C'Thun projected an enormous eyeball into his mind and drew him into a mental world.
  • Jiang Jie reached a side hall beside C'Thun's temple to rescue three ancient dragons imprisoned since the War of the Shifting Sands.
