The next morning, Feng Lingtian summoned all the core team members to the open space next to the training ground.

Feng Xiaotian, Shi Yan, Jiang Lin, Su Ran, Bai Yu, Zhong Yue Ji Ning, Ji Ning, Lu Qing, Cheng Luo Ye Qingyu Lu Hanxiao, eleven people, stood in front of Feng Lingtian.

Su Mei'er stood beside him, the ring on her finger gleaming silver-gray in the morning light.

Feng Xiaotian glanced at Su Mei'er's fingers, then at Feng Lingtian, and said nothing.

Feng Lingtian placed more than a dozen tokens on the stone table, and the clinking sound attracted everyone's attention.

"This is the Yu Feng Token, used for communication," he said. "From now on, when I'm out and about, I'll rely on this to stay in touch. It can transmit text and voice messages, and images are barely usable too."

Shi Yan glanced at the tokens. "How far can these travel?"

"We can receive it wherever there's Blue Silver Grass," Feng Lingtian said. " Blue Silver Grass is everywhere on the continent, so distance isn't a problem."

Feng Lingtian paused and then said, "The numbering framework has now been finalized. The Master Token under the academy's control, the management will use 01 to 10, and we will use 11 to 23."

There are 13 numbers in total. Everyone can choose their own. Whether it's rock-paper-scissors or drawing lots, whoever gets a number gets that number.

Shi Yan frowned slightly. "I've never been very lucky; I'm afraid I'll draw the last lot."

"Then let's try to be the first to get it." Feng Xiaotian took over, stepping forward first. He casually picked up a token, flipped it over, and glanced at the number. "Number 11. It makes sense for the captain to take number 11." He smiled, put the token back in his pocket, and stepped aside.

The others followed suit. Su Ran took one, glanced at it without saying a word, and put it away. Jiang Lin took one, looked at it briefly, and then tucked it into his sleeve.

Lu Hanxiao waited until Jiang Lin finished taking his before reaching for his own. Ye Qingyu glanced at him and said, "You're not in a hurry?" Lu Hanxiao replied, "Anyway, it's all the same—13 numbers. It'll be the same sooner or later."

Feng Lingtian waited until everyone had finished choosing before reaching for the last token on the table, number 12. He glanced at it, then put it in his pocket. He then picked up another token from the table, turned, and handed it to Su Mei'er: "Take yours too."

Su Mei'er took it and glanced at it, but didn't wear it. She casually tucked it into her sleeve—the ring on her hand spun gently in the morning light, its luster exactly the same as the token.

"Everyone, please report which number you got," Feng Lingtian said.

Shi Yan picked it up and glanced at it. "14. Not bad, a middle number." Jiang Lin flipped it over. "15." Su Ran looked down. "16."

Bai Yu flipped the token over. "17." Zhong Yue picked up his own. "18." Ji Ning glanced at it. "19." Lu Qing flipped it over. "20."

Cheng Luo held up his token. "21." Ye Qingyu glanced at the number. "22." Lu Hanxiao picked up the last one, looked at it. "23."

After everyone memorized their own and their teammates' numbers, some people were already holding their tokens and looking at them over and over.

At this moment, Ye Qingyu asked, "How do you use this?"

Upon hearing this, Feng Lingtian decided to give a demonstration.

He took out his No. 12 Sub-Token from his pocket, infused it with a wisp of Soul Power, and then silently recited a passage within the token.

A few breaths later, the No. 11 token in Feng Xiaotian's arms vibrated slightly. Feng Xiaotian took it out and glanced at it; a blurry line of light appeared on it. "Received."

Su Ran also lowered his head and tried it, injecting a wisp of Soul Power into the token. After a moment, Feng Lingtian's token number 12 vibrated slightly. He took it out and glanced at it—

Su Ran sent two words: "Try it." Feng Lingtian looked up at Su Ran, Su Ran nodded. "It works."

"Text can be used, as well as voice and video, but we won't demonstrate that today." Feng Lingtian put the token away. "From now on, use this to contact us when you're out and about. Send text for non-urgent matters, and send voice for urgent matters. Anyone can do it."

Everyone nodded. Feng Lingtian watched them carefully put away their tokens, and felt slightly more at ease.

The communication system has been set up, so no matter where we go in the future, we can at least stay in touch and won't be separated for months without any news like before.

Feng Lingtian gave a few more instructions regarding the use and safekeeping of the items before letting everyone leave to attend to their own matters.

As everyone left, Feng Xiaotian paused beside Feng Lingtian, tilted his head, and whispered, "That thing on Su Mei'er's hand... could it also be Yu Feng Token? She's already made it into a ring and is wearing it. They acted so quickly."

Feng Lingtian didn't stop, but turned his head slightly to avoid Feng Xiaotian's gaze. "Mind your own business." He quickened his pace, leaving his brother half a step behind.

Feng Xiaotian glanced in the direction of the back of his head, chuckled, and didn't press the matter further. The two brothers walked forward one after the other, their shadows stretched long by the lanterns lining the corridor.
