Childhood and Study Abroad

Qin An'an grew up with Yu Han, also called Hanhan. They attended the same elementary, middle, and high schools and were practically inseparable. Shen Nian's Birthday Party

At the karaoke venue, An'an demanded an apology from a woman who had collided with them and then cursed at them. Shen Yanchuan made the woman apologize, then challenged An'an to drink. She accepted his invitation to his private room before Yu Han could stop her, bringing both women into Shen Nian's birthday party 40.

An'an defended Yu Han against a guest's taunt and entered a drinking contest with Shen Yanchuan. Although she insisted that she had never met her match, she became visibly drunk while he remained composed. He eventually conceded to let her stop, and she proudly declared that she had avenged Yu Han 41 42.

Personality

An'an is lively, outspoken, and quick to laugh. Yu Han remembers her as someone who has always enjoyed standing up against injustice. Her insistence on receiving an apology at the karaoke venue reflects her unwillingness to let an aggressor dismiss wrongdoing 15 40.

Her loyalty is practical as well as emotional: she offers money, shelter, job-search advice, and encouragement without judging Yu Han's contract relationship. Her competitive streak can also override caution, as shown when she accepts Shen Yanchuan's drinking challenge despite Yu Han's warning 16 23 35 41.
