Qingmu tested the Dream Guide and learned more about the lost expedition, while Ghost uncovered Captain Church’s diary and Zhao Pengcheng escaped prison. The diary began revealing the Discovery’s strange voyage toward Ghost Island, where an upside-down pyramid had been found.

• Qingmu brought Ruxue into an orange cat’s dream so she could take its memories and body, then visited the Dream Guide laboratory and met Su Huilan.
• Qingmu entered the Space Box’s Prehistoric Town with Su Huilan, explored its mirrors, and learned he could not enter one or create a recorded dream space.
• Mei Yiqiu told Qingmu and Su Huilan that the research vessel had been destroyed near the Tubuai Islands, and the group suspected the Parasites had sabotaged it to protect a seabed secret.
• Qingmu entered Ghost’s dream and asked her to investigate Captain Church’s missing diary, while Ghost communicated with Zhao Pengcheng through the prison computer.
• Zhao Pengcheng secretly contacted Qingmu, built trust with the prison staff, and worked with Howard and the driver to escape by hiding in a truck and taking on the identity Huang Liang.
• Ghost found that the diary had been sent to the Pentagon and placed a decrypted copy in a folder on Zhao Pengcheng’s phone, while Duwa told Qingmu she was going to find Situ.

The Discovery’s log revealed vanished ruins, abnormal seas, and the rescue of Situ before the ship’s destruction. Qingmu investigated the Hua Family’s past and traveled to the South Pacific with Su Huilan, where their search for Petru left him facing a gunman’s mental barrier.

• Church’s expedition failed to find Ghost Island, briefly detected the underwater pyramid, and encountered lost signals, two suns, and a magnetic anomaly.
• Church steered the Discovery through a tsunami and rescued Ivan, Boris, and Arthur Stone, whose watches showed December while the ship’s calendars showed August.
• Mei Yiqiu identified the rescued Asian man as Situ, and Qingmu suspected the Dream Society had attacked the Discovery and arranged to join the investigation.
• Bi Shenghua told Qingmu how her family had guarded the old willow after the Hua Family’s mulberry burned, and Xia Wenyuan helped him investigate the clan’s disappearance.

Qingmu and Su Huilan confronted Petru on Tubuai Island and won his help by promising to rescue Lawiye. As Su Huilan explained the Awakeners' Alliance and the dreamlike nature of their world, attackers arrived, and Qingmu noticed an unexplained swelling on one of their bodies.

• Qingmu found Petru behind the rocks at the Tapu, subdued him, and deflected his bullets before Petru attacked again and Crow complained that he had been shot.
• Su Huilan offered Petru a new identity and help rescuing Lawiye, prompting him to recount how he became Redbeard Petru and acquired the nautical charts after encountering a mummy aboard a freighter.
• Petru entered Hanran’s dream with Su Huilan, then led her and Qingmu to his cave, where Su Huilan identified the chart’s central triangle as the underwater pyramid.
• Su Huilan persuaded Petru to join the Third Space Foundation and explained her consciousness-only theory, the group-dream world, and the danger of descending into deeper dreams.
• Su Huilan identified Qingmu’s symbol as belonging to the Awakeners' Alliance and explained its history, her father’s connection to Master Nanke, and her search for the truth about the underwater pyramid.
• Petru shot at two approaching pursuers after Su Huilan used him as bait, and Su Huilan went downhill with Hanran to confront them.

Qingmu, Su Huilan, and Petru pursued the research vessel’s mystery to an island hidden by strange mental energy, while Bian Ziyuan tested Dream Guide and Huang Liang uncovered the organization’s Elite Breeding Project. The group reached the island and began searching for the modern people and its inhabitants.

• Qingmu and Su Huilan examined a chip embedded in a dead woman’s neck, and Su Huilan suspected its technology might not be from Earth.
• Qingmu, Su Huilan, and Petru followed clues from the Tapu sites to a charted area where a mysterious island appeared and vanished.
• Xia Xiaoxiao identified the recovered chip as an experimental design beyond Laboratory No. 19’s fourth generation and agreed to take it to Professor Mei.
• Mei Yiqiu prepared Dream Guide’s public beta while Bian Ziyuan entered code into Kronos and tested the second-generation Space Box, where Kronos proposed merging with him.
• Huang Liang found the Elite Breeding Project in Amsterdam, resisted an attempt to overwhelm him, and met an old woman who challenged his mental abilities.
• After searching at sea, Qingmu, Su Huilan, and Petru reached the island, where Petru recalled encountering Russian-speaking men and armed people in the fog.
• The group found that their boat and communications had vanished from view, then heard howls and a gunshot as they explored the island.
