As a zombie horde led by Zombie Hulk and Zombie Thanos closed in on the Sanctum Sanctorum, Strange exposed Thor’s act and Thor empowered the heroes with thunder. Spider-Man Peter Parker faced the invading zombies as he and Zombie Captain America called the Avengers to assemble.

• Classic Loki shielded Lena while Thor and Classic Loki traded remarks about who would fight the zombies.
• Strange confronted Thor, pointing out that Thor had hidden his strength and could not be as weak as he pretended.
• Thor used Mjolnir and Stormbreaker to grant thunder power to the heroes, leaving Classic Loki, Black Swan, and Tetiyu untouched.
• Zombie Hulk smashed through the Sanctum Sanctorum’s door and wall as a horde of super zombies poured inside.

Thor and the heroes fought the zombie invasion in the Sanctum Sanctorum, using divine thunder to clear the horde and battle its strongest members. The ordinary zombies fell, but Zombie Hulk began to overpower Spider-Man as four powerful enemies remained.

Peter Parker and Jessica Jones recognized Jean Grey in the returning Phoenix, but she had become a ravenous zombie who burned Doctor Doom to nothing and overwhelmed Thor. Just as Zombie Phoenix prepared to eat Thor, a pale woman appeared and extinguished her flames.

• Peter Parker and Jessica Jones saw that the Phoenix was their former teammate Jean Grey, now a zombie, accompanied by Zombie Doctor Doom.
• Zombie Doom pointed out Earth as food, but Zombie Phoenix killed him with black flames.

Kang the Vanguard arrived in Frost City to investigate the Council of Kangs’ target, but he abandoned his mission and tried to hack the city’s network. Lumina detected him, and a girl summoned Emma, eager to capture and study another Kang.

• Kang the Vanguard entered Frost City through a tiny portal and activated his armor’s stealth mode.
• He saw Frost City’s futuristic buildings, flying vehicles, and floating Asgard, then decided to hack the city to show off his technology.

War Master Hulk arrived and revealed he controlled a force capable of destroying everything, prompting Kang and Mephisto to reconsider and agree to discuss a partnership.

• Mephisto agreed to cooperate with Pharaoh Kang, while noting that Thor had destroyed one of his powerful subordinates.
• Pharaoh Kang learned that Kang the Vanguard had been captured after entering Thor's base on Knowhere.
• Pharaoh Kang explained that Thor had taken control of the timelines, and Mephisto demanded a share of that power.
• Mephisto began to leave when War Master Hulk arrived and claimed he shared their enemy.

• A Laughing Robin attacked Superman, and Deathstroke killed him by pinning him to the bar's wall with a blade.
• Superman and Steel set out to open a path to the Dark Multiverse, while Hal Jordan, Mister Terrific, and the egg headed for space and Aquaman and Deathstroke went to Atlantis.
• Diana, Kendra, and Doctor Fate departed for the Rock of Eternity, leaving Bobo and Nightmaster behind in the Oblivion Bar.

Diana fought The Merciless but was defeated and left at the mercy of vengeful Amazon spirits. A Batman in a red-emblazoned Batsuit arrived, rescued her, and revealed that he was Thomas Wayne.
