An orphan raised within the Divine Profound Sect, Lu Fan attracted the attention of an outer elder of Spirit Elegance Peak through his exceptional talent. He became an outer disciple by special exception, but an expedition accident destroyed his meridians and cultivation. His master saved his life, then later died fighting demonic cultivators. Unable to cultivate and deprived of his protector, Lu Fan became a menial disciple 6.

His earlier arrogance had earned him enemies, and other disciples exploited his downfall to torment him. When a veteran menial disciple insulted his deceased master, Lu Fan attacked first and was nearly beaten to death. Han Xuanji secretly helped him afterward 6.

After recovering his ability to cultivate, Lu Fan undertook dangerous combat missions against devil cultivators and demon beasts. Han Xuanji recommended him for the menial disciples’ competition; Lu Fan won and gave Han Xuanji one of his Foundation Establishment Pills 6.

Return to Prominence

A Devil Venerable residing within Lu Fan’s soul guided his cultivation and directed him to a hidden Heavenly Devil Cult inheritance site. Lu Fan reached Golden Core there, subsequently distinguished himself in the inner sect competition, and became Spirit Elegance Peak Master Ye Chen’s personal disciple 7 17 28.

During later travels, he was trapped alongside Li Taiqing and Xie Liuyun when the Blood Spirit Devil Lord attacked White Cloud City. He also participated in the aftermath of a battle against a Devil Cultivation Method inheritor, burning the corpse as his companions discussed the distant Heaven-Devouring Holy Sect 140 150.

When the Heavenly Demon Realm invaded the Nine Provinces, Lu Fan identified the attackers and joined the defense at the East Sea. He fought alongside Lin Potian while their companions resisted the invading army 247.

Ascension and Han Xuanji’s Teachings

After ascending, Lu Fan reunited with Han Xuanji, Lin Potian, and Nangong Wenjian. Two sky-patrolling envoys of the Human Emperor Palace recognized him as the ninth Human Emperor Candidate. Within the ancestral land, Han Xuanji identified suitable inheritance opportunities and advised him to prioritize compatibility over quantity. Lu Fan obtained two Human Emperor inheritances in succession, then ultimately secured nine and condensed nine Human Dao Fortune Marks—far exceeding his rivals and the historical record 344 346 348 350.

Lu Fan later trained among human prodigies in the Chaos Beyond Heaven and recruited several as followers. Returning to the Myriad Phenomena Garden, he was stunned to discover that Han Xuanji had bestowed Chaos Physiques on his fellow disciples. Coronation and Rule

With Xiao Hong guarding him and fellow disciples supporting his campaigns, Lu Fan established the Myriad Phenomena Divine Dynasty in the Nine Heavens Immortal Domain. Jiang Hao and Nangong Wenjian helped defeat opposition and consolidate its strength 385 405 407.

He became the overwhelming choice for Human Emperor. At his coronation in Fuxi Holy City, he pledged to govern diligently and protect humanity; his accession immediately brought a breakthrough to Daluo Golden Immortal 404.

When the Spirit Void Heavenly Palace faced a major Devil Race invasion, Lu Fan immediately mobilized his dynasty’s forces, offered double military rewards to volunteers, and persuaded the Primordial Holy Emperor to coordinate human assistance. The agreement excluded direct intervention by Hunyuan beings 417.

Outside Divine Mechanism City, he negotiated a first-to-four-wins wager with the Devil Master, including an oath that the Devil Race would withdraw for ten thousand years if defeated. Han Xuanji ultimately erased the invading army, renewing Lu Fan’s determination to become strong enough to protect his master someday 430 438.
