Thanks to the villagers' warm hospitality, Goku and Bulma spent the night there, and before they knew it, it was noon the next day.

"Goku, are you sure we should just wait here?"

Bulma, who was sitting in the shade of a tree, called out to Son Goku as he trained in the center of the village.

"Yeah. I can sense Ki, so as soon as that Oolong gets close, I'll feel it and take him down in an instant."

"Hm? He's here."

Goku powered up instantly and flew toward Oolong, the wind from his power-up blowing in every direction.

"Hey, could you slow down?"

Bulma's skirt was nearly blown up. She quickly held it down with her hands and shouted through gritted teeth at Goku as he flew away.

Oolong was still some distance from the village and had no intention of transforming, since his transformations lasted only five minutes.

Boom!

A cloud of dust suddenly rose before Oolong. When it cleared, he saw a crab-haired boy standing in front of him.

"Wh-who are you?"

Looking at the crater beneath Goku's feet, Oolong asked the question with some fear.

"You don't need to know who I am. All you need to know is that I'm here to catch you."

"Bastard!"

Oolong was furious. He instantly transformed into a towering robot, raised a huge iron fist, and punched at Goku.

Goku stood where he was with his arms folded, watching the incoming iron fist and waiting calmly.

"Bang!"

"Haha, I thought you were supposed to be strong, but I took you down with one punch! Wh-what?"

Goku swept aside the iron fist that had struck his face. From where Oolong stood, Goku didn't look hurt at all.

"That's it? Then it's my turn!"

Goku grabbed the iron fist and pulled it toward himself, sending Oolong's entire enormous body toppling uncontrollably toward him.

Standing on one leg, Goku kicked upward at Oolong.

Boom!

Oolong's entire body instantly doubled over, and he flew backward. He finally came to a stop after crashing into several trees.

"Ow, ow, it hurts so much!"

Oolong had reverted to his original form as a little pig. He lay on the ground, clutching his stomach and crying out in pain.

Goku slowly flew over and looked down at Oolong.

"Are you going to surrender, or should I-I knock you out and capture you?"

"I surrender, I surrender, I surrender!"

Oolong immediately dropped to his knees, both hands over his head.

"Follow me. You can face those villagers yourself."

Goku floated into the air and slowly flew toward the village, with a little pig following behind him.

When he arrived, Goku saw a large crowd of villagers waiting for him.

"This is Oolong. Settle whatever scores and grievances you have with him." With that, Goku stepped aside, revealing Oolong behind him.

All the villagers watched Goku step aside, only to see a pig.

"What? That's Oolong? He's a pig!" a startled voice cried from the crowd.

Hearing someone call him a pig, Oolong couldn't help getting angry.

"I'm an animal-type human, not a pig!" Oolong shouted at the crowd, furious.

"Speak! What did you do to my daughter?"

A middle-aged man rushed out of the crowd, raising a rake to strike Oolong.

"Don't, don't, don't, don't hit me! Your daughters are safe. I'll take you to them," Oolong hurriedly explained, taking two frightened steps back.

Oolong then led everyone toward his home.

"Seriously, stop looking at me like that. I'm not a bad guy, and I haven't killed anyone. I only took a few girls away, that's all."

Seeing the villagers look at him as if they wanted to roast him, Oolong explained himself, still a little scared.

The whole way there, Oolong offered all kinds of explanations for how he really hadn't done much wrong.

Just then, a magnificent palace appeared before them.

"Th-this is your home?"

Bulma stared at the palace before her in disbelief.

"Yeah, I built it with the money I robbed."

"And I only robbed rich families. I never robbed ordinary people."

Seeing the villagers' hostile looks, Oolong immediately explained.

"Hmph, no matter how you put it, anyone who robs people is no good!"

Bulma couldn't help retorting when she heard that. After all, she was rich too. Did that mean she deserved to be robbed?

"Yes, yes, yes, my lady, I'll never do anything bad again!"

Oolong could tell that the boy with extraordinary fighting power seemed to listen to this girl a little, so he tried to curry favor with Bulma.

When everyone entered the palace, they discovered that the girls Oolong had taken were all dressed in splendid clothes, lounging leisurely on the sofas.

Oolong couldn't help feeling helpless when he saw the girls.

"Please hurry up and take them away. I wanted girls who were considerate and understanding, not lazy gluttons like them."

"Thank you, thank you so much," the villagers said gratefully as they handed the Dragon Ball to Bulma.

After all his explanations, Oolong had also managed to earn the villagers' forgiveness.

"Phew, they finally forgave me."

Oolong couldn't help wiping the sweat from his forehead. The boy had told him to get the villagers to forgive him. If he hadn't, who knew what would have happened?

"Goku, should we bring that pig along too? He can transform, so I think he'd be pretty useful."

Seeing Oolong wipe his sweat, Bulma suddenly thought of something.

"Sure, whatever you want." Goku nodded.

"Hey, you pig, come here."

"I told you, I'm not a pig, I'm an ani... Ah, I'm coming, I'm coming."

Oolong heard someone call him a pig and was about to snap back, but when he saw it was this lady, he immediately changed his tune.

"Wh-what is it?" Oolong asked Bulma, rubbing his hands together ingratiatingly.

"Come with us."

"Huh? Where are you going?" To be honest, Oolong didn't really want to leave.

"To look for something called Dragon Balls."

"Huh? You're going on an adventure?" Oolong really didn't want to go on an adventure. He valued his life too much. If something went wrong along the way, wouldn't he be a goner?

"What? You don't want to? Goku~" Bulma raised an eyebrow and called Goku's name in a coquettish voice.

"Hm?"

Goku flexed his fists, then looked at Oolong.

When Oolong saw that, he reacted as if he'd been shocked.

"No, no, no! I'll go, I'll go, I'll go!"

Looks like I can't get out of this. I'll just have to find a chance to escape later, Oolong thought with a sigh.

Goku saw that Oolong seemed to be thinking about something and smiled faintly. As if he didn't know what Oolong was thinking. Wasn't he just thinking about how to escape later?

"I'd advise you not to think about running away. I can sense everyone's Ki, so if you try to transform and escape, I'll notice right away. And once I do, heh heh."

Goku looked at Oolong as he spoke, a disarmingly kind smile on his face.

"H-how could that be? Why would I run away? I love adventures! Ha, haha."

Oolong kicked a pebble at his feet and laughed awkwardly.

"Damn it, why is this little brat so strong? Lord Oolong is in real trouble now."

At that moment, it was as if countless grass mud horses were stampeding through Oolong's mind.

"Well then, goodbye, everyone!"

Bulma waved to the villagers, and the three of them set off into the distance along a country path.
