A silver-haired man wielding a scythe appeared in the Abyss Order’s ruins beneath Stormterror's Lair and revealed a deadly interest in the Golden Bough’s energy. After suppressing the ruins’ Abyssal Aura, he sensed intruders above and prepared to begin his “azure symphony.”

• Abyss Mages begged their Highness for help after the Golden Bough’s energy transformed their comrades into monsters and overcame their elemental shields.
• A silver-haired man in blue emerged from the darkness, carrying a huge silver scythe.
• The man killed the Hydro Abyss Mage with a single swing, silencing the remaining Abyss Mages.
• He looked toward the Golden Bough on Dvalin and spoke of lost souls, fate, and someone named Angelica.

After one Cryo Abyss Mage begged to be imprisoned in Mondstadt, Wei Zhenzu prepared to demonstrate how to fight in The City.

• A wounded scout told Varka that Kaeya had drawn monsters away from the retreat and been swept to the tower by a dark red storm.
• Varka ordered Jean and Eula to lead the wounded and Klee back toward Mondstadt and secure the retreat route.
• Jean organized the withdrawal, leaving Varka and Wei Zhenzu behind in the emptied plaza.
