Before Lin Chuan joined Spirit Hall, Bibi Dong had already attracted attention beyond the organization. Her talent overshadowed many young members of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan during its previous awakening ceremony, establishing her reputation as Spirit Hall’s genius disciple 14.

Lin Chuan’s Arrival

Bibi Dong accompanied Qian Xunji to Blazing Soul Village and became anxious when her teacher personally took over Lin Chuan’s awakening. After his acceptance as a disciple, Qian Xunji instructed her to look after him as his senior sister and arranged for them to share her residence 1 2 5.

During the clan visit, Bibi Dong encouraged Lin Chuan to confront the children bullying Liu Erlong and offered to take responsibility for any consequences. She was less pleased by the closeness that developed between him and Liu Erlong, repeatedly teasing him about his apparent interest in her 12 13 16.

Her confidence in Lin Chuan turned to concern as he appeared to suffer under Tang San’s hammer attacks. He ultimately won through concealed Light Wing Blades. His resulting popularity among Spirit Hall’s younger disciples overtook hers, helped by his warmer manner and angelic Martial Soul 43 44.

Her childhood lack of affection makes perceived rejection particularly painful; Qian Xunji recognizes this insecurity beneath her tantrums 3 5 6.

She strongly prefers cultivation to academic study. Martial Soul Theory bores her, and she uses cultivation as an excuse to avoid lessons.
