He hesitated for a long time before finally managing to squeeze out a sentence.
"Because Boss Zhang Yu worked hard yesterday."
Zhang Yu raised an eyebrow.
"You guys worked hard yesterday, didn't you?"
Bai pursed her lips.
" Boss Zhang Yu has also worked hard."
So... so we should eat breakfast properly.
That sounds reasonable.
As Bai spoke, his fingers gripped the edge of the tray tightly, and he avoided meeting Bai's gaze.
Something's really wrong.
Zhang Yu immediately understood.
Bai wasn't the type of person who would just casually walk into his room.
Even when they deliver breakfast, they wait respectfully outside the door.
There must be someone orchestrating this situation behind the scenes.
Zhang Yu didn't expose him; instead, he deliberately moved closer.
"So, you dressed like this so I could have a proper breakfast?"
Bai shuddered.
Her face instantly turned bright red.
"This, this is..."
"It was Lord Hashirama who said..."
He had barely uttered the words when he abruptly shut up.
Zhang Yu's smile became even more pronounced.
What did Hashirama say?
You panicked for nothing.
"N-nothing."
I misspoke.
Zhang Yu drawled out the sound.
"Oh?"
"That's what Madara said?"
Bai panicked even more.
The tray was almost too loose to hold.
"No, it's not..."
Zhang Yu reached out to steady the tray and chuckled, "Bai, the way you look right now makes you look like you've been sent on a secret mission."
Bai lowered his head, his ears turning bright red.
"I don't."
"Really, no."
Zhang Yu deliberately asked, "So, are you going to stop me from leaving the house?"
Bai's body froze completely.
Needless to say, the answer was written all over their faces.
Zhang Yu almost burst out laughing.
"That's really true."
Bai whispered, " Boss Zhang Yu, please have breakfast first."
"After you finish eating, you can rest for a bit."
"Today... there's no need to rush to the front hall today."
Zhang Yu took half a step closer.
Why not rush?
Bai's voice grew softer and softer.
"Because..."
Because today is Sunday.
The tavern is closed.
Zhang Yu nodded.
"Being closed means I can go out and get some exercise."
"For example, finding Hashirama and Madara to spar."
Bai looked up briefly.
"Can't!"
After he finished speaking, he realized that he had overreacted and quickly lowered his head again.
"I mean..."
" Boss Zhang Yu has just gained new strength and needs to rest."
Zhang Yu looked at him and said with a smile, "Bai, you're not suited to lying."
Her pale face turned so red it was almost steaming.
He was never good at deceiving Zhang Yu.
When Hashirama and Madara told him this last night, they kept it very simple.
Hold off the boss.
The longer the better.
Once the front of house is ready, and the electronic music starts, the boss can be brought out.
Bai agreed very seriously at the time.
But when he actually stood in front of Zhang Yu, he realized that this was even more difficult than fighting the enemy.
Boss Zhang Yu gets nervous whenever he sees him.
He gave himself away as soon as you asked him.
Seeing Bai's expression, as if he was about to burst with pent-up frustration, Zhang Yu finally stopped teasing him.
He reached out and picked up a slice of toast, taking a bite.
"It tastes good."
Bai immediately breathed a sigh of relief.
"It was prepared by Lord Izuna."
Zhang Yu ate a few bites of breakfast and then drank some milk.
Bai stood to the side, still nervously watching the doorway, as if afraid he might suddenly walk out.
After Zhang Yu finished eating, he put down his cup.
"Alright."
"I'm going out to take a look."
Bai quickly stepped forward.
" Boss Zhang Yu!"
Zhang Yu stopped and turned to look at him.
"Still blocking me?"
He opened his mouth, but didn't know what excuse he could come up with.
His face turned bright red, and he could only whisper, "Could you... wait a little longer?"
Zhang Yu laughed and said, "No."
After saying that, he turned and walked towards the door.
Bai instinctively wanted to chase after him, but then stopped.
He has done his best.
Zhang Yu had just pushed open the door, his steps not yet firm.
The next second.
boom!
The energetic electronic music suddenly exploded out without warning.
The entire Undead Tavern seemed to be ablaze, with intense drumbeats surging from the front hall into the corridor.
Zhang Yu was stunned for a moment.
He then laughed.
"Goodness."
"So that's where you were waiting for me."
He walked out of the room, through the corridor, and into the foyer.
Then, he saw an extremely outrageous scene.
The front hall of the Undead Tavern has been completely changed.
The tables and chairs were moved to both sides.
A large area was left empty in the middle.
The lights were flashing overhead.
Behind the bar, Hashirama and Ban stood on either side of the DJ equipment.
Hashirama, wearing headphones and beaming with excitement, skillfully pushed the control lever with his fingers.
Ban stood on the other side, his expression cold, but his movements were ridiculously professional.
The two worked together with perfect coordination.
A rhythm cut.
One control for sound effects.
The drumbeats pressed down and exploded, instantly propelling the entire bar to its peak with electronic music.
Izuna stood to the side, holding up an ice-cold can of cola, and shouted, "The boss is here!"
Tobirama, unusually, didn't have a cold expression; he held a cup in his hand and nodded in rhythm.
Zabuza stood in the corner with his arms crossed, initially looking like he didn't want to participate, but his toes were already tapping lightly to the beat of the drums.
Bai chased after him and saw Zhang Yu standing in the front hall, finally letting out a sigh of relief.
Hashirama saw Zhang Yu arrive, he immediately shouted into the microphone.
"Boss!"
"Surprise!"
Ban coldly replied.
"Don't stand there."
"Enter."
Zhang Yu watched as the two people who had said last night they would get up early for work the next day were now DJing with increasing skill, and the corner of his mouth twitched involuntarily.
"Didn't you say you had to go to work tomorrow?"
Hashirama was righteous and assertive.
"It's Sunday today, the tavern is closed!"
Zhang Yu then looked at Ban.
Didn't you say you wanted to get up early?
With a flick of his finger, the electronic music instantly exploded.
"I've already gotten up early."
Zhang Yu: "..."
This reason is both convincing and absurd.
Izuna laughed and called out, "Boss, yesterday you wanted to stretch your muscles, but everyone thought it would be too dangerous to actually fight."
"So let's change the way we do things."
Tobirama nodded.
"It won't destroy the vegetable garden."
Zabuza whispered, "I won't destroy the fishpond either."
Hashirama shouted, "You can still drink!"
A cheer erupted in the lobby.
Looking at everyone, Zhang Yu's initial urge to spar suddenly turned into a smile.
OK.
If you don't want to fight, then don't fight.
If we're going to have fun, let's have a blast!
He walked to the center of the front hall and waved his hand.
"Don't just stand there."
Closed today.
"Everyone's celebrating!"
Hashirama immediately turned up the volume.
"Long live the boss!"
Izuna raises his glass.
Let's have some fun!
Bai stood next to Zhang Yu, her face flushed, and whispered a greeting.
"Let's... let's have some fun!"
Zhang Yu heard this and looked at him with a smile.
"Bai, you're speaking way too softly."
Her pale face turned even redder.
Zhang Yu immediately took the lead and shouted, " The Undead Tavern!"
Hashirama and Izuna immediately took over.
"Let's get hyped!"
Tobirama unusually chimed in with a comment.
"Get hyped!"
Zabuza silent for two seconds before adding in a low voice.
"Get hyped!"
The next second, the electronic music blasted again.
The entire pub had been transformed into a nightclub.
Hashirama and Madara stood behind the equipment, their movements so synchronized as if they had rehearsed countless times.
Hashirama's enthusiasm was exaggerated.
His coldness bordered on professional.
The two of them, however, worked together exceptionally well.
As soon as the drumbeat ended, Hashirama raised his hand.
Sound effects are everything, and the pressure bar is perfect.
