Humanity then began studying the nebula and building a secret defense, while Academician Liu Bo returned with a breakthrough about spatial density.

• Academician Zeng and Academician Liu Bo traced the Wind Masters’ reduced speed to the Eagle Nebula’s increased spatial density, while Hu Yu sent Zhang Yuanshan to investigate disappearances.
• A gas-cloud entity seized Zhang Yuanshan and his fleet, but Hu Yu’s forces trapped the controlled ships and drove the nebula lifeforms from their vessels with antimatter.
• A branch consciousness explained that seven main consciousnesses existed, and Hu Yu’s forces defeated an approaching fleet before Main Consciousness No. 1 surrounded Earth Two.

Hu Yu led humanity from the nebula region, built new weapons and technology, and launched a rescue mission for Luo Zhigao’s fleet trapped by the Xuan Star Civilization. After sacrificing the Wind Master fleet to hold off the enemy, Hu Yu reunited with Luo Zhigao at Earth Two, where the two fleets began rebuilding together.

• Hu Yu traded Science City for safe passage out of the nebula, then Academician Xiao used hidden robots and Little Crabs to bring the city and Wind Masters back under human control.
• After humanity strengthened its fleet at JD4, Number One decoded a warning from Luo Zhigao, prompting Hu Yu to prepare for war and set out to rescue him.
• Academician Liu Bo discovered how to turn matter into Basic Energy, and Hu Yu’s fleet used energy spheres to accelerate its journey toward Luo Zhigao.
• Hu Yu found Luo Zhigao’s fleet trapped in a spatial vortex and sent Wind Masters to fight the Xuan Star Civilization while scientists prepared energy bombs to disrupt the vortex.
• Hu Yu’s Wind Masters detonated the energy bombs and opened a path out of the vortex, allowing Luo Zhigao’s fleet to escape as the Xuan Star Civilization destroyed Hu Yu’s fifty million warships.
• Luo Zhigao led his battered fleet to Earth Two, where Hu Yu and the people welcomed its ten billion residents and the scientists shared their fleets’ latest technologies.

Hu Yu’s fleet spent centuries preparing to confront the Xuan Star Civilization, but its overwhelming forces and the failure to move a spatial vortex forced Hu Yu to rethink the campaign. After returning home and reconnecting with Xiao Xiao, Hu Yu adopted Hu Yunhang’s idea of tricking the enemy into carrying the energy spheres themselves, leaving the fleet to develop the Trojan Horse Plan.

• Gao Zhengyang explained how space compressors could send signals and energy balls across space, while the academicians exchanged knowledge and the fleets later parted ways.
• Hu Yu abandoned the journey to JD4, prepared to find the Xuan Star Civilization’s base, and sent Earth Two ahead as a decoy while his hidden fleet built up its strength.
• Hu Yu’s fleet spent centuries developing weapons and Grim Slayers, while reconnaissance revealed that the Mu Star and Xuan Star Civilizations had vast fleets and were connected to the Fish Horse Star Civilization.
• Hu Yu asked the academicians to move the spatial vortex into Xuan Star territory, but their experiments failed, and the fleet departed with no way to overcome the enemy’s numbers.

Humanity used Reversed State armor and a Trojan Horse Plan to draw the Xuan Star Civilization into a devastating war, then forced its leader to offer a secret about the Insect Race. The Fish Horse Star Civilization interrupted the revelation, and humanity’s attack on Mu Star territory showed Hu Yu how powerful the Fish Horse Star Civilization was.

• The General and the Academician planned to convert twenty stars, build Earth Four, and expand production while scientists investigated massive stars and Academician Li Youwei created indestructible Reversed State armor.
• Humanity developed artificial humans for the Trojan Horse Plan, hid energy spheres near the vortex, and sent the seven main Branch Consciousness Entities away to establish the Aquila Civilization.
• The Wind Masters lured the Mu Star and Xuan Star fleets toward the vortex, where most were destroyed or scattered, while the Xuan Star Civilization captured human planets and discovered two planets packed with energy spheres.
• Feng Long deciphered the energy spheres’ electromagnetic detonator, but hidden human ships triggered the spheres around Xuan Star territory and created a vortex that devastated planets and killed tens of billions.

• The Grim Slayers destroyed fifty million Mu Star warships, but their energy spheres and an explosive transport attack failed to stop the Fish Horse Star warships, revealing the scale of their strength.
