• Luo Zhigao’s fleet was attacked by Stellar Worms, and the survivors preserved their brains until scientists could rebuild their bodies.

The academicians returned from the Matter River without Liu Bo and Chen Peng, but brought back Fourth Reversed State research as the Star Ring Alliance faced the Mechanical Civilization’s expanding insect swarms. Hu Yu’s alliance rallied civilizations across the galaxy and won major battles, but the insect king’s four-dimensional attacks left the war unresolved.

• Luo Zhigao’s fleet began fading from the greater universe’s timeline, and he sent Qin Yin and Hu Yu a burst of technology before vanishing as Hu Yu shifted the alliance toward construction and searches for the Mechanical Civilization.
• Zu appeared before the academicians in the Matter River, revealed that the promised defense system was false and explained that he sought help returning to the greater universe and taking revenge on a powerful enemy.
• Li Youwei created the Fourth Reversed State, and Academician Zeng led the group to investigate the Universe Membrane while Liu Bo and Chen Peng remained behind, and the others later returned through a four-dimensional channel without them.
• The Mechanical Civilization unleashed swarms across more than a billion coordinates, and Hu Yu organized evacuations and defense while the Star Ring Alliance accepted the Crystal and Gemini Civilizations and fought the growing threat.
