  • Gu Ningbi entered the gate, and Chen Mu and Mingye followed her into Kunlun Heaven.

Ch. 652Primordial Power

Chen Mu, Mingye, and Gu Ningbi entered the collapsing Kunlun Heaven Realm, learned about its dense restrictions and Primordial Power, and traveled toward its central region on Chen Mu’s mountain robot. On the third day, they found a group of demons attacking a young human, and Chen Mu asked Gu Ningbi whether they should intervene.

  • Chen Mu and Mingye arrived in the Kunlun Heaven Realm with Gu Ningbi, who explained that the realm was collapsing and that its dense rules restricted flight and weakened attacks.
  • Gu Ningbi told Chen Mu and Mingye that the realm’s Primordial Power could aid their cultivation, and Chen Mu gathered some of it to examine.
  • Chen Mu unfolded a mountain-crawling robot, and the three traveled toward the central region while cultivating along the way.
  • On the third day, Chen Mu heard fighting and drove the robot toward the sound to investigate.
  • Chen Mu spotted more than a dozen animal-featured demons attacking a young human and handed Gu Ningbi the telescope to let her decide whether to save the victim.

Ch. 653The Di Clan Tribe

Chen Mu, Gu Ningbi, and Mingye rescued Di Yun, the last surviving heir of the Di Clan Tribe, from the Moon Glint Clan’s demons and learned that his tribe had been attacked. The group set out together for the Primordial Beginning Mountain Range while Chen Mu modified their crawler robot, reflecting on Kunlun Heaven’s strength and impending collapse.

  • Gu Ningbi recognized Di Yun under attack by Moon Glint Clan demons, and she, Chen Mu, and Mingye defeated the demons and rescued him.
  • Di Yun told Gu Ningbi that attackers had killed his father and devastated the Di Clan Tribe, and he suspected the Celestial Person Race had arranged the attack.
  • Chen Mu and his companions drove off the demons pursuing them, then agreed to let Di Yun join their journey to the Primordial Beginning Mountain Range.
  • Chen Mu volunteered to keep watch and began modifying the crawler robot to make room for Di Yun.
  • As Chen Mu worked, he considered how Kunlun Heaven’s dense environment surpassed the Pan Emperor Continent and regretted that Kunlun Heaven was destined to collapse.

Ch. 654The Market

Chen Mu and his companions traveled deeper into Kunlun Heaven, escaped an encounter with the Ice Chi King, and reached a market to gather supplies and information. After trading for materials, Chen Mu went with Mingye to inspect a street slave sale.

  • Chen Mu used Dharma Power to help the modified crawling robot evade the Ice Chi King's ice attacks and escape.
  • Di Yun told Chen Mu that the Ice Chi King was an Innate God and that more than a hundred Innate Gods might live in Kunlun Heaven.
  • Following Di Yun's guidance, the group traveled along a main road toward a market jointly managed by several powerful tribes.
  • Chen Mu paid two World Crystals to enter the market and traded for materials he needed.
  • Chen Mu noticed a crowd watching a slave sale and went to look with Mingye.

Ch. 655The Heavenly King Descends to the Lower Realm

Chen Mu and Mingye observed a slave auction in Kunlun Heaven while the Heavenly Court discussed the Chen Kingdom. Heavenly King Linlang recognized Chen Mu as the Might-Distant General who had thwarted his plans in the Nine Nether Netherworld and received permission to attack the Chen Kingdom.

  • Chen Mu and Mingye watched Kunlun Heaven's slave auction and discussed the strength and prices of its native beings.

  • The Heavenly Emperor authorized Heavenly King Linlang to deal with the Chen Kingdom, instructing him to act quickly and keep the search for the Heart of Pan Emperor as the priority.

Ch. 656The Little Savage

While observing a slave market in the Kunlun Heaven Realm, Chen Mu discovered that slave contracts weakened over time and decided to buy a young Innate Lifeform. He left with the savage boy, intending to take him as a disciple and see whether an Innate Lifeform could cultivate his Battle Talisman Master system.

  • Chen Mu realized that slave contracts lost their power over time, while Mingye warned him that the slaves could be dangerous and the contracts unreliable.
  • A slave trader presented a fierce young savage captured in the Primordial Beginning Mountain Range and explained that he had a strong chance of reaching the Yuan Formation Stage as an adult.
  • Chen Mu bid for the little savage and bought him for one thousand eight hundred World Crystals.
  • The slave trader transferred the contract rune and warned Chen Mu that the boy often hurt people besides his master.
  • Chen Mu left the slave market with the boy and told Mingye he planned to take him as a disciple and test whether he could cultivate the Battle Talisman Master system.

Ch. 657Taking a Disciple

Chen Mu freed the little savage from his slave contract and offered to take him as a disciple. The little savage fled, then caught up with Chen Mu the next morning and accepted him as his master as they headed toward the Primordial Beginning Mountain Range.

  • Di Yun and Gu Ningbi examined the little savage and warned Chen Mu that his hatred might make him difficult to guide.
  • Chen Mu released the little savage from the slave contract and offered to teach him as his disciple, but the little savage fled the waystation.
  • Chen Mu and his companions left the market the next morning on the crawling robot, while the little savage followed behind.
  • The little savage chased after the group, knelt before Chen Mu, and eagerly agreed to become his disciple.
  • Chen Mu noticed fresh bloody marks on the little savage and suspected he had encountered danger after leaving.

Ch. 658Primordial Beginning Mountain Range

Chen Mu named the stone-born savage Lingming, made him his disciple, and led his group into the dangerous Primordial Beginning Mountain Range to investigate the Heavenly Court’s plot. They camped beneath a recent sword mark that Gu Ningbi believed had been left by someone who became a god, while Chen Mu began preparing specialized Rune Artifact tools.

  • Chen Mu named the little savage Lingming, accepted him as his disciple, and gave him an educational auxiliary Rune Artifact.
  • Chen Mu led the group toward the Primordial Beginning Mountain Range, and Di Yun persuaded them to avoid his nearby tribe’s lands because Heavenly Court scouts might be there.
  • The group entered the mountain range, where the origin power was dense but impure, and Di Yun and Gu Ningbi warned everyone to avoid disturbing the sleeping fiendish spirits.
  • Chen Mu suggested they find a safe place to rest while he made tools suited to the mountain range, and the group set up camp beneath a cliff carved with a sword-marked character for “heart.”
  • Gu Ningbi judged that the fresh sword mark carried the true meaning of the Great Dao and had likely been left by someone who became a god; Chen Mu regretted that A Huo was not there to study it.
  • Chen Mu set up his workbench and analytical equipment beneath the cliff and began working.

Ch. 659Teaching Lingming

Chen Mu’s group prepared to cross the Primordial Beginning Mountain Range while Lingming studied under his auxiliary intelligence and asked to become a Talisman Master. After their journey began smoothly, Chen Mu decided to capture an outer-reach vicious spirit for study.

  • Lingming studied advanced knowledge, ate the meat Mingye offered, and began speaking more fluently.
  • Chen Mu made detection, concealment, and attack Rune Artifacts, switching to Soul Magnetic Waves because Spiritual Power interference blocked Spirit Magnetic Waves.
  • Lingming asked Chen Mu to teach him the Battle Talisman Master path, and Chen Mu promised to teach him formally after they escaped the mountain range.
  • At dawn, Chen Mu’s party of five followed Lingming deeper into the range and used the detection radar to avoid vicious spirits.
  • Mingye suggested confronting a vicious spirit, and Chen Mu decided to capture one in the outer reaches despite Di Yun and Gu Ningbi’s concerns.

Ch. 660Capturing a Vicious Spirit

Chen Mu captured a powerful headless vicious spirit and stored it in his embryonic world for analysis. The group continued through the Primordial Beginning Mountain Range, stopped short of Jianmu Hill’s deadly God-Slaying God Domain, and followed its edge to search for the Heavenly Court’s people.

  • Chen Mu bound the headless vicious spirit, cut off the buried blood-colored energy sustaining it, and sealed it inside the embryonic world.
  • Gu Ningbi explained that vicious spirits were driven by unresolved obsessions, while Chen Mu said the battle had provided useful data.
  • Gu Ningbi showed Chen Mu and Mingye the ruined World Crystal Mountain, and Di Yun urged the group to continue into the Primordial Beginning Mountain Range.
  • Di Yun stopped the group before Jianmu Hill because the God-Slaying God Domain made entering without a god’s protection deadly.
  • Gu Ningbi redirected the group along Jianmu Hill’s edge to search for the Heavenly Court’s people, and Chen Mu’s detection radar guided their progress.

Ch. 661The Heaven-Sacrificing Ceremony

The Wu Wind Clan prepared a heaven-sacrificing ceremony to have the Pan Emperor Heavenly Dao recognize the Heavenly Emperor as Lord of Heaven, in exchange for permission to move to the Nine Heavens Realm. After Wu Xiong discovered Chen Mu’s scouts, Ye Beihen pursued the intruders, leaving Chen Mu and his companions to face an approaching group.

  • Wu Xiong confirmed with Ye Beihen that the Wu Wind Clan would be allowed to move to the Nine Heavens Realm after the ceremony.
  • Wu Xiong explained that the ceremony would use shamanic arts to have the Pan Emperor Heavenly Dao acknowledge the Heavenly Emperor as Lord of Heaven.
  • Wu Xiong’s warriors brought more than a hundred captives to the altar as sacrifices.
  • Wu Xiong detected Chen Mu’s Talisman Puppet insects, destroyed them, and sent warriors to search for the spy.
  • Ye Beihen left Wu Xiong to conduct the ceremony and followed the trail with several warriors.
  • Chen Mu hid with his companions, but his radar showed pursuers closing in, so he decided they had to stand and fight.

Ch. 662Sole Supremacy Technique

Chen Mu and his companions fought Ye Beihen and his followers while racing to destroy the altar. After studying Ye Beihen’s Sole Supremacy Technique, Chen Mu gained insight into improving his Dao Unification state, and Mingye stayed behind to hold off Ye Beihen as the others continued toward the altar.

  • Chen Mu ordered his companions to attack Ye Beihen and fought him at close quarters, but Ye Beihen used the Sole Supremacy Technique to slow Chen Mu and knock him into a crater.
  • Mingye used the Netherworld Pearl to disable Ye Beihen’s followers, allowing Gu Ningbi and Mingye to injure them.
  • Chen Mu rose and struck Ye Beihen, explaining that he had been studying the Sole Supremacy Technique and gained inspiration for his Dao Unification state.
  • Gu Ningbi urged the group to prioritize destroying the altar, but Ye Beihen recovered and pursued them with a sword.
  • Mingye stayed behind to cover the rear while Chen Mu, Gu Ningbi, and Di Yun continued toward the altar.

Ch. 663Shaman God Peng Xi

Shaman God Peng Xi performed a mass living sacrifice to attract the Pan Emperor Heavenly Dao, hoping the Heavenly Court would help him become a True God. Chen Mu, Gu Ningbi, and Di Yun rushed toward the altar as Chen Mu recognized how Peng Xi had exploited the Heavenly Dao.

  • Peng Xi summoned the Shaman God’s image and promised the Wu Wind Clan merit if the Heavenly Emperor’s plan succeeded.
  • Peng Xi spread black mist over the sacrifices, activating Shaman Runes that made them appear to sacrifice themselves.
  • Peng Xi activated the Blood Spirit Heaven-Sacrificing Grand Array, and the sacrifices’ flesh and blood fed the runes.
  • The Pan Emperor Heavenly Dao answered Peng Xi’s sacrifice with a golden pillar of light.
  • Gu Ningbi questioned why the Heavenly Dao favored Peng Xi, and Chen Mu explained that Peng Xi had used the runes to disguise involuntary deaths as suicide sacrifices.

Ch. 664Rescuing the Captives

Chen Mu, Di Yun, and Gu Ningbi charged into the Blood Spirit Heaven-Sacrificing Grand Array to rescue Di Yun’s relatives and disrupt the ritual. Chen Mu broke the Shaman Runes trapping the captives, while Gu Ningbi held off Peng Xi and Di Yun fought the guards.

  • Di Yun rushed toward the altar, but Chen Mu stopped him and studied the shaman array before proposing they rescue the captives together.
  • Chen Mu opened a passage through the array with the Wentian Divine Spear, and Di Yun charged inside to fight the Wu Wind Tribe warriors.
  • Chen Mu and Gu Ningbi released their domains, weakening the guards as the three advanced toward the captives.
  • Peng Xi attacked the intruders, and Gu Ningbi used the Black Feather Armor and Dark Soul Bell to block his black Qi cones.
  • Chen Mu shattered the Shaman Runes trapping the captives, and Di Yun caught his older brother as the captives fell free.

Ch. 665Battle with the Shaman God

Peng Xi left Wu Xiong to maintain the heaven-sacrificing ceremony while he fought Chen Mu and Gu Ningbi, who worked together to hold the Shaman God back. Below, Di Yun helped the captives escape, but altar guards began recapturing them.

  • Peng Xi gave Wu Xiong his shamanic implements and assigned him to oversee the heaven-sacrificing ceremony before attacking Gu Ningbi at full strength.
  • Chen Mu used the Primordial Eye's Dao Unification form and the Wentian Divine Spear to withstand Peng Xi's attacks.
  • Gu Ningbi struck Peng Xi with a divine sense attack, weakening him and allowing Chen Mu to keep fighting without the Primordial Eye.
  • Di Yun helped the newly awakened captives flee while altar guards continued to arrive and recapture some of them.

Ch. 666Great Strength Pill

Chen Mu gave the weakened captives Great Strength Pills, allowing them to fight back and rescue the others while he and Gu Ningbi battled Peng Xi. The Myriad Peng Demon Lord arrived to help Peng Xi, leaving Chen Mu and Gu Ningbi overwhelmed as Chen Mu tried to understand Ye Beihen’s Sole Supremacy Technique.

  • Di Yun told his big brother and second uncle that he had sent word to the other tribes and urged them to hold out until help arrived.
  • Chen Mu gave Great Strength Pills to the captives, restoring their strength so they could turn the fight around and rescue those who had been taken away.
  • Peng Xi called for help from Wan Peng and Mo Tan as he struggled against Chen Mu and Gu Ningbi.
  • The Myriad Peng Demon Lord arrived and attacked Gu Ningbi, but Chen Mu drew him away and defended her while Peng Xi unleashed the Ten Thousand Poisons Bone-Eroding Curse.
  • Little Blue blocked Peng Xi’s curse, but Chen Mu and Gu Ningbi remained at a disadvantage against the two gods.
  • Chen Mu analyzed his enemies’ techniques and wondered how Ye Beihen’s Sole Supremacy Technique had commanded heaven and earth.

Ch. 667Battle Technique Transformation

Chen Mu transformed his combat techniques by learning to reverse the Rules of Heaven and Earth, allowing him to fight the Myriad Peng Demon Lord, Peng Xi, and Mo Tan. Peng Xi recaptured the prisoners, and as Chen Mu prepared to expose Lingming’s unfinished runic mechanism, another powerful god arrived.

  • Chen Mu experimented with reversing the Rules of Heaven and Earth and developed a stronger technique that combined following and reversing them.
  • Chen Mu’s transformed combat skills let him suppress the Myriad Peng Demon Lord and hold off Peng Xi while Di Yun led the captives toward the formation’s edge.
  • Peng Xi abandoned his fight with Chen Mu to stop the captives, and Mo Tan arrived to help the Myriad Peng Demon Lord.
  • Chen Mu evaded Mo Tan’s attack and trapped him in a spatial black hole, but Mo Tan broke free and Peng Xi recaptured all the prisoners.
  • Chen Mu learned that Lingming had not finished setting up the runic mechanism, then sensed another powerful god approaching.

Ch. 668All Sides Arrive

Peng Xi’s living sacrifice was interrupted as Bi Wu and other gods arrived, but Peng Xi used his treasures to open a path for Heavenly Emperor Haoyu into Kunlun Heaven. The gods confronted Peng Xi over his plan, and the chapter ended as Haoyu’s presence began to seep through the torn realm barrier.

  • Bi Wu arrived and attacked Peng Xi, preventing him from recapturing the prisoners.
  • A female god in green held off the Myriad Peng Demon Lord and the King of Motan while Chen Mu and Gu Ningbi rested.
  • The Three Mountains Patriarch arrived and ordered the fighting to stop, then condemned Peng Xi for violating the ban on living sacrifices.
  • Peng Xi defended his attempt to join the Heavenly Court, but the Three Mountains Patriarch and the gathered gods rejected his argument and demanded his surrender.
  • Peng Xi used his three supreme treasures of the Shaman Dao to tear open Kunlun Heaven’s barrier and admit Heavenly Emperor Haoyu.

Ch. 669The Heavenly Emperor Descends

Heavenly Emperor Haoyu entered Kunlun Heaven through an avatar and attacked the gods and Chen Mu’s group. As Chen Mu and the others fled, Haoyu sent a golden dragon after them while an approaching company hurried through the Primordial Beginning Mountain Range.

  • Three Mountains Patriarch used a tortoise-shell array to suppress the rift, but Heavenly Emperor Haoyu tore through it and entered Kunlun Heaven with his avatar.
  • Peng Xi, the Myriad Peng Demon Lord, and the King of Motan paid respects to Haoyu, while Ye Beihen joined him and called him Master.
  • Haoyu attacked Chen Mu, Gu Ningbi, and Mingye, but Chen Mu used God-Slaying Art, Game Annihilation to break through the spatial compression and help them escape.
  • Haoyu attacked Three Mountains Patriarch and the other gods, who countered with their divine arts, but his Thunder Heavenly Punishment forced them onto the defensive.
  • While the gods fought Haoyu, he spat out Black and Yellow Qi that became a golden dragon pursuing Chen Mu and the others.
  • A company moved through the deepest reaches of the Primordial Beginning Mountain Range as someone urged Mutou to stay safe until they arrived.

Ch. 670Chen Mu's Backup Plan

Chen Mu, Gu Ningbi, and Mingye fought the Heavenly Emperor’s golden dragon while Chen Mu’s missiles disrupted the Heavenly Emperor long enough for them to destroy it. The Heavenly Emperor caught up with them and offered Chen Mu a place in the Talisman Department, leaving Chen Mu facing a dangerous choice.

  • Gu Ningbi stopped to face the Heavenly Emperor, but Chen Mu and Mingye turned back to help her, while Chen Mu ordered Lingming to activate the runic mechanisms and escape.
  • Chen Mu, Gu Ningbi, and Mingye struggled against the golden dragon as three missiles struck near the altar and briefly disrupted the Heavenly Emperor’s presence.
  • Chen Mu and his companions seized the opening, destroyed the weakened golden dragon, and fled toward the edge of the Primordial Beginning Mountain Range.
  • The Heavenly Emperor appeared before them and destroyed the mechanical Rune Artifacts Chen Mu had planted in the woods.
  • The Heavenly Emperor recognized Chen Mu and offered him a place in the Talisman Department, making clear that refusing could mean death.

Ch. 671Seven-Colored Self-Sacrifice Curse

The Heavenly Emperor attacked Chen Mu with the Ancient Emperor World-Destroying Sword, and Mingye sacrificed herself with the Seven-Colored Self-Sacrifice Curse to stop the blow. Grief-stricken, Chen Mu charged the weakened Heavenly Emperor, while Gu Ningbi collected Mingye’s fallen treasures.

  • The Heavenly Emperor formed the Ancient Emperor World-Destroying Sword and struck at the immobilized Chen Mu.
  • Mingye appeared between Chen Mu and the sword and revealed the forbidden curse she had learned from Ancestor Yan Xue’s inheritance.
  • Mingye cast the Seven-Colored Self-Sacrifice Curse, shattering the Heavenly Emperor’s sword and hurling him into the ground.
  • Chen Mu mourned Mingye, then attacked the Heavenly Emperor with blood mist and blue flames, overpowering him as the curse’s corrosion weakened him.
  • Gu Ningbi picked up the black bead and small cyan porcelain bottle that had fallen where Mingye vanished.

Ch. 672The Undying Legion

Chen Haoran and the Undying Legion drove off the Heavenly Emperor, but Chen Mu remained consumed by rage until Gu Ningbi revealed that Mingye’s true spirit might still be saved. As Chen Mu prepared to leave for the Nine Nether Netherworld, Chen Haoran rushed toward the divine tree after sensing trouble, and Chen Mu and Gu Ningbi followed.

  • Chen Haoran and the Undying Legion struck the Heavenly Emperor, who fled through a black hole with Ye Beihen and abandoned Peng Xi, the Myriad Peng Demon Lord, and the king of the Mo Tan.
  • Chen Mu, still burning his bloodline and enraged, attacked Chen Haoran until Gu Ningbi calmed him by saying Mingye’s true spirit remained inside the Netherworld Pearl.
  • Gu Ningbi gave Chen Mu the Netherworld Pearl and a small porcelain bottle, and Chen Mu resolved to go to the Nine Nether Netherworld to seek a way to revive Mingye.
  • Chen Mu apologized to Chen Haoran and said he had to leave immediately, but Chen Haoran suddenly hurried toward the divine tree in the Primordial Beginning Mountain Range.
  • Chen Mu and Gu Ningbi followed Chen Haoran, while Chen Mu took pills to recover some strength after burning his essence blood.

Ch. 673Bad News

Chen Mu and Gu Ningbi reached Jianmu Hill, where Chen Haoran had destroyed the Heavenly Emperor’s incarnation. Chen Mu learned that the Kunlun Heaven Realm would collapse within a year and agreed to wait before going to the Nine Nether Netherworld to resurrect Mingye.

  • Chen Mu and Gu Ningbi entered Jianmu Hill and found Chen Haoran besieging the Heavenly Emperor’s incarnation with blood-red swords.
  • The Heavenly Emperor vanished after being pierced by the swords, while Chen Haoran warned that he still planned to reclaim the Heart of Pan Emperor.
  • Chen Haoran identified the divine tree as the World Tree, or Jianmu, and explained that the Heart of Pan Emperor lay within its crown.
  • Chen Mu asked to go to the Nine Nether Netherworld, but Chen Haoran warned that leaving the Kunlun Heaven Realm would expose him to the Heavenly Emperor’s true body.
  • Chen Mu agreed to wait a year, and Chen Haoran explained that Jianmu Hill’s translucent guardians were Undying Battle Souls formed from the obsessions of fallen defenders.

Ch. 674Spirit Network Meeting

Chen Mu convened the Chen Kingdom’s leaders after learning that Heavenly King Linlang would lead an invasion, while Mingye was unable to fight and Chen Mu’s true body was trapped in Kunlun Heaven. He ordered the kingdom to strengthen its forces by expanding trade and military alliances, leaving his advisers to weigh the risks of supplying more powerful weapons.

  • Gu Zi'an informed Chen Hongjie that the Heavenly Court was preparing an invasion led by Heavenly King Linlang, and Chen Hongjie received Chen Mu’s summons to a Spirit Network meeting.
  • Chen Mu told the assembled leaders that Mingye had lost her ability to fight and that his true body could not return from Kunlun Heaven for ten years.
  • Chen Mu approved opening the Chen Kingdom’s starry sky trade and lifting restrictions on cooperation with the Netherworld to build up military strength.
  • Chen Zihu proposed expanding the kingdom’s cooperation with the Dragon-Toppling Society, and Chen Mu ordered a military alliance and permission to supply equipment below God Level.
  • The leaders questioned the risks of selling more powerful military equipment to the Dragon-Toppling Society.

Ch. 675Opening the Classics

Chen Mu proposed making the Chen Kingdom’s basic cultivation classics freely available through its Spirit Network platform to strengthen ordinary cultivators and expand the Spirit Magnetic Network System. He left his allies and officials to help implement the plan and spread the network among friendly factions, confident that the resulting advantages would pressure others to join.

  • Chen Mu told the Dragon-Toppling Society and the Sword-Questioning Sect that the Chen Kingdom would supply them with armaments, and Wei Shan agreed to explain the alliance to his sect master.
  • Chen Mu summoned Nan Yuanshan, Kong Yu, Hou Sailei, and Guo Xiaohan to discuss a new policy.
  • Chen Mu proposed opening the library’s basic cultivation classics to outsiders through the Spirit Network platform, explaining that the manuals offered no path to forming a core and that access would require the platform.
  • Chen Zihu warned that the policy could empower future generations to overthrow the Chen Kingdom, but Chen Mu dismissed the concern and emphasized the network’s strategic value.
  • Landuo said the Haotian Empire would prevent base stations from being built in its territories, and Chen Mu replied that the Chen Kingdom would connect friendly factions first and let the widening gap pressure others to follow.
