Chen Mu built Chen Village into a powerful force through rune research, new weapons, and victories against its enemies, while rescuing his parents and allies. After Chen Village defeated the Jianglan army, Chen Mu challenged Xing Le to judge the village’s puppet talisman artifacts.
Chen Mu helped Chen Village expand its territory, rescued the Yin Lineage, and led the fight against the Temple’s beast tide. After six years of growth, Chen Village became the Chen Kingdom, where Chen Mu encountered two women from his past who did not recognize him.
Chen Mu reached the Creation Realm and led the Chen Kingdom against the Otherworldly Demons, capturing Moon Capital Pass and securing Yi Province. After Military Base No. 1 self-destructed during a costly battle, he prepared for Xilade's full-scale attack and considered capturing the remaining Devil Race generals.
Chen Mu secured the Chen Kingdom’s defenses before traveling with Mingye to the Netherworld, where he built Iron Soul City and joined the Manju Imperial Court’s war. After escaping Ren Changsheng’s blood formation and reaching Saint Level, he restored the fallen Yin Five Elements Legion in his inner world.
Chen Mu strengthened the Chen Kingdom, reclaimed his clan’s legacy, and accepted the Wentian Divine Spear’s demand to kill the current Heavenly Emperor when he became capable. He entered the Kunlun Secret Realm, survived its grotto-heaven trials, and prepared with his companions to attack a demon castle.
Chen Mu led the Chen Kingdom through wars with the Heavenly Court and the Haotian Empire while pursuing his father and strengthening alliances, armies, and the Spirit Network. The volume ended with Chen Mu trapping Heavenly King Linlang in the Nine Dragons God-Sealing Formation.
