| Stage / Realm / Level | Chapter | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Peak Great Emperor — inherited cultivation | 1 | Transmigrates into the body of the Su Imperial Clan’s dying ancestor and absorbs his memories. The system detects only one hundred breaths of life remaining. |
| Infinite cultivation | 2 | The system gift pack repeatedly cubes his cultivation, restores his youth, and continues increasing his power every second. The system suppresses his power to prevent its uncontrolled release from collapsing the Black-Yellow Realm. His lifespan initially remains limited to one month. |
| Infinite cultivation — Black-Yellow Heavenly Dao suppression | 19 20 | Breaks the Heavenly Dao’s chains and forces its rift shut. This is a demonstration of his existing power, not a newly assigned cultivation realm. |
| Infinite cultivation — continued growth confirmed | 67 | Confirms that his cultivation is still rising every moment. Creates a defensive bead capable of enduring ten attacks from someone possessing one-tenth of his cultivation at the time of its creation. |
| Infinite cultivation — world creation | 104 105 | Creates two small secret-realm worlds containing laws, living creatures, and extraordinary energies to improve the clan’s physiques and cultivation experience. |
| Infinite cultivation — later system confirmation | 152 | His panel still lists cultivation as Infinite at age 10,032, with 3,942 years of lifespan. No named immortal realm replaces this designation. |
| Infinite cultivation — Immortal Realm Heavenly Dao suppression | 173 174 | Shatters the Immortal Realm Heavenly Dao’s law-infused attack with a snort, then binds its incarnation with power surpassing its three thousand laws and forces it to admit the Source of All Spirits into the Land of Origin. |
| Infinite cultivation — Immortal Realm domain manifestation | 193 194 | Forcibly makes part of the Immortal Realm his own domain during the confrontation with the Fire Dragon Mountain Lord, demonstrating abilities beyond the authority of its Heavenly Dao. |
The clan and his enemies interpret his strength as immortal-level, but the system never assigns him a named immortal realm. His later defeat of the Heavenly Dao demonstrates power beyond what the Devil Emperor of All Living Beings believes an ordinary immortal could possess 19 20.
His arrival in the Immortal Realm does not constitute a recorded cultivation breakthrough. His subsequent suppression of that realm’s Heavenly Dao further demonstrates that his strength cannot be classified by the immortal realms discussed by other characters 161 173 174.
Background
Before transmigrating, Su Chen was a young man from the twenty-first century. He recalls staying awake for five days and nights to finish a work project, then taking a nap before awakening in another world 1.
His new body belonged to the Su Imperial Clan’s ancestor, a Peak Great Emperor nearing the end of his lifespan. Through the original owner’s memories, he learned that the clan had guarded the Devil Race’s seal at the Realm Sea for a hundred thousand years, while the Liu Imperial Clan repeatedly dismissed its requests for assistance 1.
The transmigrator and the original ancestor are distinct souls. Su Ting later suggests that his original father likely died five hundred years earlier after exhausting his lifespan; this is Su Ting’s assessment rather than an independently confirmed account 30.
After securing the clan’s supremacy in the Black-Yellow Realm, Su Chen consciously decides to embrace the original owner’s position as ancestor rather than merely occupy his body. He resolves to bring the Su Imperial Clan to greatness and spread its name across the heavens and myriad realms 65.
Appearance
- Rejuvenated body: Eight feet tall, with smooth, lustrous skin and long, slender fingers 2.
- Hair: Long and ink-black, falling over his shoulders, with red tips resembling a newly kindled flame 2.
- Face: Bright eyes, white teeth, and sword-like eyebrows; the upward tilt of his eyes gives him a slightly disdainful expression 2.
- Clothing and aura: Wears blue or azure robes and appears enveloped in misty immortal Qi 2 5 19.
- Recognition: His restored appearance matches portraits of the original ancestor in his youth, although several elders initially fail to recognize him 5.
Personality
Su Chen enjoys theatrical displays of power and deliberately cultivates an imposing image. His first intervention against Wang Teng is timed for effect, with the system remarking that he had arrived earlier and merely wanted to show off. He also praises the system for giving him an impressive golden-finger attack 2 5.
His humor is often threatening or sarcastic. After criticizing the elders’ proposed punishments as excessively violent, he explains that every extra moment Wang Teng lives is a benefit to the enemy. He is also sensitive to seniority, objecting when Wang Teng addresses him as an equal rather than as a senior 6 7.
He protects the Su Clan but rejects its obligation to sacrifice indefinitely for an ungrateful realm. He knowingly allows surviving devils to leave the Realm Sea and refuses to intervene in their subsequent attacks. His initial attachment to the clan is partly grounded in his borrowed body and the system’s quests, rather than fully developed familial affection 7 12 21.
Despite concealing his identity from most clansmen, Su Chen does not want to maintain a false identity before the original ancestor’s children forever. He deliberately permits Su Yun to perceive his true soul and is pleased when the siblings choose to accept him 30.
His commitment to the clan later becomes more deliberate: he decides to truly become its ancestor and guide it across multiple worlds. He encourages descendants to have children, provides cultivation resources without requiring them to worry about scarcity, and supports the establishment of branches in other Mortal Realms 65 70 156 220.
Su Chen prefers to let his descendants resolve challenges that are within their capabilities. In the Azure Yang Realm, he treats the struggle for supremacy as training for the clan rather than a task requiring his own intervention, and later insists that Su Ting and the others settle their grievances with the Heavenly Net Hall themselves 72 106.
He remains uncompromising toward those who obstruct him. When the Immortal Realm’s Heavenly Dao refuses his request, Su Chen states that he is informing it rather than negotiating, then forces its compliance. His claim afterward to be an “easygoing ancestor” contrasts with the Heavenly Dao’s experience of nearly being refined 174.
Abilities & Skills
Infinite Cultivation
Su Chen’s system-granted cultivation exceeds conventional realm measurements 2 28.
- Continues growing at a terrifying rate after the initial reward 2.
- Makes learning techniques a matter of a single thought, according to his understanding of his new abilities 2.
- Causes even his ordinary words and movements to contain mysteries capable of enlightening lower-realm cultivators 28.
- Remains continuously increasing decades after transmigration; his later panel still identifies his cultivation as Infinite 67 152.
- Allows him to overpower the Heavenly Dao of the Immortal Realm, whose attack is described as beyond the ability of even a peak Immortal King or a powerhouse above that realm to withstand 173 174.
- Limitation: Overwhelming cultivation does not automatically grant a corresponding lifespan; survival remains tied to system quests 2.
Desolate Heaven-Imprisoning Finger
The martial skill listed on his system panel is also invoked as the “Desolation… Heaven-Imprisoning Finger” during the Realm Sea confrontation 2 18.
- Gathers Great Dao power above the battlefield, creating a golden vortex and a rain of golden light 18.
- His Realm Sea attack is subsequently described as having destroyed forty Devil Emperors and several million devils in one move 21.
- His earlier finger attack annihilates Wang Teng; its residual power carves a continuous ravine toward the Realm Sea. Su Chen considers that strike a basic attack rather than an ultimate move 7 19.
Restraint, Defense, and Golden Flame
- Summons golden chains through spatial rifts to pierce and restrain Wang Teng’s limbs 6.
- Protects Su Ting and the clan cultivators with a barrier that withstands the Devil Emperor of All Living Beings’ attack 19.
- Creates a golden-flame cage that burns and refines the Heaven-Burning Devil Emperor until his body explodes into powder 18.
- Condenses a transparent defensive bead that can withstand ten attacks from an opponent with one-tenth of his cultivation at the moment of its creation; weaker attackers would require more attacks to break it 67.
- Protects the Source of All Spirits inside the Azure Yang Realm’s origin with a shield bearing his presence 104.
- Binds the Immortal Realm Heavenly Dao’s incarnation with chains formed from power surpassing its three thousand laws. The resulting injuries resist the Heavenly Dao’s attempt to heal them with origin power 174.
Healing and Physique Enhancement
- Purges the Devil Qi intertwined with Su Ting’s flesh in less than a breath, also repairing his body and divine soul 8.
- Instantly heals Su Shuang’er and her siblings, improving their innate abilities without increasing their cultivation 19.
- Supplies energy sources that transform the siblings’ special physiques and abilities, including Su Hao’s Supreme Immortal Physique and Su Shuang’er’s Mystic Ice Immortal Physique 27.
- More than doubles the five siblings’ combat strength during the clan’s cultivation session, despite no increase in their cultivation realms 28.
- Purifies the Source of All Evil by stripping away his evil thoughts, transforming his affinity toward Heaven and Earth Spiritual Qi and renaming him the Source of All Spirits 65.
- Creates a trial secret realm through which clan members can obtain special physiques, including Immortal Physiques, rather than limiting such enhancements to the clan’s existing leading fighters 104 105.
- Provides a spirit spring that heals Lian Ruyue and Lianxi’s injuries and loosens the barriers to their advancement 122.
Spatial Manipulation and Perception
- Opens nine spatial rifts to retrieve the remaining Great Emperors trapped in the Realm Sea 21.
- Creates a passage directly from the Realm Sea to the clan residence 21.
- Uses divine sense to monitor events throughout the Black-Yellow Realm, including the Liu Imperial Clan’s concealed scheme 2 26.
- Observes the siblings’ private discussion through Su Yun’s barrier and conceals his true soul unless he chooses otherwise 30.
- Creates an isolated courtyard within the Eternal Imperial Palace 30.
- Opens a rift between the Black-Yellow Realm and the Azure Yang Realm. The narrative states that he could also enter the Immortal Realm directly without using a Well of the Immortal Domain 71.
- Opens passages into the Lands of Origin of both the Azure Yang Realm and the Immortal Realm 104 173.
- Stores the main Eternal Imperial Palace within his body while transporting its inhabitants toward the Immortal Realm 161.
- Monitors events inside both secret realms and detects the Heavenly Derivation Sect’s sect master observing the palace from a concealed position outside its barrier 220.
Formations and Heavenly Dao Suppression
- Upgrades the clan’s protective formation to gather Spiritual Qi while retaining offensive and defensive functions 26.
- Draws high-grade energy from the Heavenly Dao, condensing it into spiritual liquid for the clan’s cultivation 26 27.
- Breaks tens of thousands of ancient immortal chains with a verbal rebuke and forces the Heavenly Dao’s rift shut 19.
- Threatens to drain the Heavenly Dao’s original power when it protests his extraction of energy 27.
- Later extracts actual Power of Origin from the Black-Yellow Realm and supplies it to the Source of All Spirits in the palace’s core 66 67.
- Knocks the Azure Yang Realm’s Heavenly Dao unconscious with one slap, as recalled by the Source of All Spirits 104.
- Shatters the Immortal Realm Heavenly Dao’s attack of three thousand law-infused strands of hair with a snort, then compels it to permit cultivation in its Sea of Origin 173 174.
- Can forcibly establish his own domain within the Immortal Realm, overriding the local authority of its Heavenly Dao 193.
World Creation and Secret Realms
Su Chen creates two small worlds above the palace’s martial arts training ground, filling them with laws and living creatures. Immortal Qi, chaos, and primordial power merge into these worlds as they take shape 104 105.
| Secret Realm | Function | Conditions and Limits |
|---|---|---|
| Physique trial secret realm | Allows entrants to earn special physiques, including Immortal Physiques, through trials involving creatures and other challenges 105. | Death within the trial transports the entrant outside rather than killing them. Attempts are unlimited 105. |
| Revolving Wheel Secret Realm | Lets consciousness experience extended lives and cultivation journeys, tempering the entrant through mortal-world experience and greatly reducing later cultivation bottlenecks 105 106. | Does not directly increase actual cultivation. One or several days outside can encompass hundreds, thousands, or tens of thousands of years of experience inside 105. |
He originally considers a time formation to accelerate actual cultivation, but the system prohibits it as a lifespan-reward loophole. He instead applies time manipulation to the Revolving Wheel Secret Realm, where the benefit is experience rather than an immediate increase in cultivation 105.
Rebirth Curse
- Places the Rebirth Curse on the Devil Emperor of All Living Beings, causing intense suffering when he chants 70 71.
- Transfers the curse’s methods to Su Ya so that the surviving Devil Race can be gathered, cursed, and controlled by the Su Imperial Clan 71.
- Later confirms that the Devil Race has been brought completely under control and instructs the clan to maintain rotating guards without neglecting their own cultivation 106.
Cultivation Technique Reconstruction
Su Chen identifies the Holy Maiden Palace’s incomplete Supreme Mysterious Yin Scripture as the cause of the dangerous Supreme Mysterious Yin Souls that torment its practitioners. He explains that intimacy offers temporary relief, whereas completing or improving the scripture can address the underlying problem 124.
He later reconstructs it as the Supreme Infinite Nine Mysterious Yin Scripture for Lian Ruyue and Lianxi 182.
- Preserves compatibility with their existing cultivation, requiring only one circulation of Immortal Yuan to master the revised technique rather than starting over 182.
- Prevents further formation of Supreme Mysterious Yin Souls and greatly improves cultivation speed 182.
- Grants each woman eight avatars whose strength is nearly equal to that of her original body 182.
System and Lifespan
The Cosmic Supreme Invincible Badass System binds to Su Chen in response to his desperate desire to survive 1.
| Mechanic | Details |
|---|---|
| Original main quest | Lead the Su Imperial Clan to overthrow Liu Imperial Clan rule and become the Black-Yellow Realm’s foremost faction 2. |
| Repeatable lifespan reward | Gain ten years for every additional Great Emperor in the Su Imperial Clan, with no stated upper limit 2. |
| Restriction | Directly raising clan members’ cultivation through empowerment incurs a lifespan reduction 2. |
| Permitted assistance | Healing is allowed. Su Chen also provides resources, improves cultivation conditions, and offers guidance rather than directly granting cultivation 8 26 27. |
| First recorded payout | Thirty-three new Great Emperors earn him 330 additional years; his panel subsequently displays 330 years of lifespan 28. |
| Additional reward | Receives the Eternal Imperial Palace when the system declares his first mission complete 28. |
| Black-Yellow Realm supremacy reward | Completion of the original main quest grants 1,000 years, increasing his displayed lifespan from 330 to 1,330 years 65. |
| Additional cultivation side quest | Each Su Imperial Clan member who reaches Loose Immortal grants 100 years of lifespan. The ten-year reward for reaching the Emperor Realm remains in effect 65. |
| Immortal Realm main quest condition | The system initially states that an updated main quest will activate after he reaches the Immortal Realm 65. |
| Azure Yang Realm objective | Make the Su Imperial Clan the Azure Yang Realm’s foremost lineage. Su Chen assigns the work to his descendants and offers an Immortal Weapon as an incentive 72. |
| Time-acceleration restriction | The system rejects using a time formation to accelerate actual clan cultivation for lifespan rewards. The Revolving Wheel Secret Realm is permitted because its experiences do not directly increase cultivation 105. |
| Azure Yang Realm supremacy reward | Grants 2,000 years of lifespan. With ongoing clan breakthroughs also counted, his later panel displays 3,942 years 152. |
| Later lifespan growth | Hundreds of clan members become emperors and dozens become immortals after the clan reaches the Immortal Realm, further increasing his lifespan 219. |
| Multi-realm expansion | Dominating additional Mortal Realms yields comparatively small rewards, while branch families and their descendants provide further opportunities for cultivation-based lifespan gains 220. |
By the time he reviews his panel at age 10,032, Su Chen concludes that his lifespan is increasing much faster than it is being consumed. He no longer treats the initial survival crisis as urgent, although his lifespan remains distinct from his infinite cultivation 65 152.
More than eighty percent of his lifespan by the later expansion period comes from increases in clan members’ cultivation. This reinforces his policy of providing resources, supporting descendants, and allowing branches to spread through other realms 220.
Equipment / Items
- Eternal Imperial Palace — A system reward bound directly to Su Chen. It can be placed outside, stored in his inner world, moved, or fused with the clan residence. He chooses fusion and declares it the clan’s new ancestral land 28.
- Creates a subsidiary palace in the Black-Yellow Realm before taking the main palace to the Azure Yang Realm, leaving Su Ya and other clansmen in charge and promising support from the main palace if the branch is threatened 70.
- The main and subsidiary palaces are linked by a divine path that permits convenient travel between them 106.
- Contains specialized cultivation areas and the two secret realms he creates for the clan 104 105.
- Is later transported inside his body and established in the Immortal Realm 161 172.
- Imperial Palace Seals — Seals he distributes to every clan member, permitting entry to and departure from the palace. Future descendants possessing the Su Clan bloodline receive them automatically 28.
- Human Emperor Banner — Summoned against the Liu Imperial Clan. Su Chen shatters its protective formation and draws tens of thousands of its members into the banner; he later stores the Wang Clan, Liu survivors, and ten imperial clan patriarchs inside it 54 65.
- Transparent Defensive Bead — An item Su Chen makes on a whim and gives to the Black-Yellow Realm’s Heavenly Dao after taking some of its origin power. Its defensive capacity is based on his cultivation at the time it is created 67.
- Immortal resources — Obtains immortal crystals, Immortal Weapons, immortal-grade cultivation techniques, and martial techniques from the upper-realm elder, intending to distribute them to Su Ting and the others 66.
- Communication Stones — Uses communication devices to direct the clan and later exchanges communication stones with the Nine Phoenix Empress’s group after reaching the Immortal Realm 38 165.
Relationships
- Su Ting — The original ancestor’s eldest son and current clan leader. Su Chen saves his life and supports his decision to withdraw from the Realm Sea. After recognizing the soul replacement, Su Ting insists that his siblings continue treating Su Chen as their father and patriarch 7 8 12 30.
- Su Yun — One of the original ancestor’s sons. His enhanced heavenly eye reveals Su Chen’s different soul, with Su Chen’s deliberate permission 27 30.
- Su Hao and Su Yi — Sons of the original ancestor whose innate abilities Su Chen strengthens. Both agree to preserve his identity secret and respect him as patriarch 27 30.
- Su Shuang’er — The original ancestor’s daughter. She initially questions his decision to spare the devils, then supports it after seeing evidence of the realm’s treatment of their clan 21 30.
- Freely teases him when he encourages the original ancestor’s children to have descendants, suggesting that he could provide them with younger siblings himself 70.
- Su Ya — The clan’s great elder and an ardent supporter. Su Chen rescues him from Wang Teng and enables his eventual rise to the Sixth Heaven of the Great Emperor Realm 5 28.
- Su Nian — A clan elder who benefits from Su Chen’s cultivation assistance. She later remains with a group of clansmen to guard the Azure Yang Realm while the main force follows him to the Immortal Realm 27 161.
- Devil Emperor of All Living Beings — The original ancestor’s old rival, reduced to Su Chen’s servant after being decisively defeated. Su Chen permits his departure but threatens annihilation if the devils harm the Su Clan 20.
- Liu Imperial Clan — Political enemy and the target of his original main quest. Su Chen destroys its decree, exposes its deception, and later directs his clan to demand justice 2 6 26 38.
- Rescues his descendants from its forbidden formation and uses the Human Emperor Banner against its members. The clan’s defeat allows the Su Imperial Clan to become the Black-Yellow Realm’s foremost power 54 65.
- Source of All Spirits — Formerly the Source of All Evil. Su Chen purifies him, accepts him into the clan, and appoints him Supreme Elder to assist its cultivation 65 66 67.
- Supplies him with origin power and repeatedly arranges access to worlds’ origins so he can recover his former cultivation. After learning that his former peak was the Ninth Heaven of the Immortal King Realm, Su Chen forces the Immortal Realm’s Heavenly Dao to admit his true body into its Land of Origin while an avatar remains behind 67 104 173 174.
- Black-Yellow Realm’s Heavenly Dao — Initially attempts to enforce the Immortal Domain Prohibition against him, but becomes fearful after being suppressed. Su Chen takes its energy and origin power, gives it a defensive bead, and later responds when an upper-realm intruder threatens the realm containing his clan’s branch 19 27 67 152.
- Their cooperation remains pragmatic. When Su Chen threatens to move the branch to the Azure Yang Realm, the Heavenly Dao urgently agrees that it can remain 157.
- Lian Ruyue — A survivor of the Holy Maiden Palace who agrees to serve as Su Chen’s maid in exchange for protection and the possibility of revenge. He heals her, provides cultivation opportunities, and later improves her scripture 122 124 182.
- Becomes his intimate companion, accompanies him on his return to the Black-Yellow Realm, and asks him to shelter the Holy Maiden Palace’s scattered survivors 152 157 182.
- Lianxi — Lian Ruyue’s daughter, who also becomes Su Chen’s maid and later his intimate companion. He grants her access to cultivation resources and improves her technique alongside her mother’s 122 124 182.
- Both women reach the Seventh Heaven of True Immortal after their subsequent cultivation and Su Chen’s personal attention 201.
- Immortal Realm’s Heavenly Dao — Opposes his intrusion into the Land of Origin, then is decisively subdued and forced to permit the Source of All Spirits to cultivate there 173 174.
- Heavenly Derivation Sect — Offers connections and assistance, but Su Chen and his clan do not join it. Its sect master later observes the Eternal Imperial Palace, suspecting that the barrier may conceal power beyond the Immortal King Realm; Su Chen detects him but declines to interfere 171 194 220.
- Five Dragons Mountain — Becomes hostile after Su Chen kills the Fire Dragon Mountain Lord and Bai Qingqian. Su Chen later destroys the faction and considers its remaining resources too insignificant to justify sending his companions to collect them 194 201 219.
Story Role / Major Arcs
Rebirth and the Imperial Decree
With only one hundred breaths remaining, Su Chen receives the system’s gift pack and becomes overwhelmingly powerful. He then intervenes when Wang Teng uses the empress’s decree against the clan, destroys the decree, restrains the messenger, and kills him 1 2 5 6 7.
After healing Su Ting, Su Chen examines the clan’s predicament. He reveals a concealed inscription on the first ancestor’s plaque—“If there is injustice, our clan shall reign supreme”—and backs Su Ting’s decision to bring the clan’s Great Emperors home 8 11 12.
Realm Sea Confrontation
Su Chen intervenes when the Devil Emperor of All Living Beings overwhelms Su Ting’s party. He destroys much of the Devil Race’s force, kills the Heaven-Burning Devil Emperor, heals the original ancestor’s children, and defeats the Heavenly Dao’s attempt to enforce the Immortal Domain Prohibition 18 19 21.
He forces the surviving Devil Emperor to submit, demands punishment for the Withered Vine Tree Devil Emperor, and lets the remaining devils leave under a prohibition against harming the Su Clan. After retrieving nine trapped Great Emperors, he explains that the clan owes the realm no further protection and takes everyone home 20 21.
Rebuilding the Clan
Su Chen warns against returning blindly to Two Forms Continent, revealing that the Liu Imperial Clan intends to lure them there. He instead improves the clan’s formation and cultivation environment, strengthens its leading fighters, and inadvertently imparts profound Dao insights through words he intended as encouragement 26 27 28.
Three days of breakthroughs produce thirty-three new Great Emperors, earning his first major lifespan extension and the Eternal Imperial Palace. He establishes the palace as the clan’s ancestral land 28.
Acceptance and the Demand for Justice
Su Chen allows the original ancestor’s children to discover that he is a different soul. They agree to keep the truth private and accept him as their patriarch 30.
He later sends Su Ting a message that prompts the clan’s Great Emperors to confront the Liu Imperial Clan. During the ensuing battles, the physiques he enhanced allow Su fighters to challenge and suppress opponents with higher cultivation 38 45 46.
His earlier warning also protects clan members who encounter the released devils. When Su Ya’s party passes through the attack on the Zhao Imperial Clan, the Devil Emperors fear Su Chen’s retaliation despite possessing greater cultivation than Su Ya 36.
Fall of the Liu Imperial Clan
When the Liu Imperial Clan traps Su Ting and the others in the All Spirits Return to Ruin Ghost Immortal Baleful Formation, Su Chen rescues them and asks what they have learned. Su Ting calls for the Liu Clan’s extermination, while ten imperial clan leaders who submitted to the Liu Clan kneel and beg for their lives 54.
Su Chen summons the Human Emperor Banner, destroys the Liu Clan’s protective formation, and begins drawing its members inside. Tens of thousands are absorbed while the Liu ancestor remains absent 54.
After the Heavenly Yuan Pearl is shattered, an upper-realm elder’s remnant soul appears. Although he recognizes the Liu Clan’s crimes, he accepts Liu Wuyou as a personal maid and attempts to kill Su Chen at her urging. The Black-Yellow Realm’s Heavenly Dao intervenes against his attack 60. Su Chen ultimately kills the upper-realm immortal, whose death later draws another intruder to the realm 70 152.
Su Chen places the Wang Clan, the Liu Clan’s survivors, and ten imperial clan patriarchs in his banner before returning to his private palace space. The system recognizes the Su Imperial Clan as the Black-Yellow Realm’s foremost power and awards him 1,000 years of lifespan 65.
The Source of All Spirits and Departure
Having decided to embrace his role as ancestor, Su Chen purifies the Source of All Evil and renames him the Source of All Spirits. He recruits him into the clan, supplies origin power for his recovery, and appoints him Supreme Elder to improve the clan’s cultivation environment 65 66 67.
Before leaving the Black-Yellow Realm, Su Chen creates a subsidiary imperial palace under Su Ya’s charge. He discovers the surviving Devil Emperor of All Living Beings, imposes the Rebirth Curse, and gives Su Ya the means to control the remaining Devil Race 70 71.
Su Chen then opens a passage to the Azure Yang Realm, establishes the main palace in a mountain range, and strikes away a burly guardian phantom with one palm. He directs his descendants to make the clan the realm’s foremost lineage, offering an Immortal Weapon as a reward 71 72.
Azure Yang Realm and the Two Secret Realms
Su Chen continues refining the palace’s cultivation environment while his descendants contend with local factions. When the Source of All Spirits reaches the limit of what he can provide, Su Chen sends him into the Azure Yang Realm’s origin under a protective shield 104.
To prepare ordinary clan members to compete with the Immortal Realm’s geniuses, Su Chen creates two secret realms. One grants physiques through repeatable trials, while the Revolving Wheel Secret Realm gives entrants extended experiences that remove future cultivation bottlenecks without directly raising their cultivation 104 105.
He sends Su Ting and the other leading descendants inside, reminding them that they must resolve their conflict with the Heavenly Net Hall themselves. He also ensures that the Black-Yellow Realm’s branch members can use the secret realms through the connection between the palaces 106.
Lian Ruyue and Lianxi enter his service during this period. Su Chen provides protection and a healing spring, identifies the defect in their cultivation scripture, and initially requires them to earn further assistance through their service 122 124.
Su Chen eventually intervenes against the Heavenly Net Hall. He presents its members with a choice between an immortal sword and an immortal-grade manual as a life-or-death test; afterward, his attack leaves no bodies or bloodstains where its army stood 147 149. The clan’s supremacy in the Azure Yang Realm earns him another 2,000 years of lifespan 152.
Return to the Black-Yellow Realm and Ascension
Su Ya reports that an Immortal Realm powerhouse is attempting to descend into the Black-Yellow Realm. Su Chen returns with Lian Ruyue because his clan’s branch is threatened. The intruder, a black-robed Mid Immortal Lord, demands the person connected to Carefree Immortal Lord’s death 152.
After the intruder dies, the branch members greet Su Chen. He observes the growth of the clan’s younger generation and confirms that his encouragement to have more descendants has produced results 156.
The Black-Yellow Heavenly Dao warns of further immortal incursions. Su Chen responds that the realm’s other inhabitants are not his concern and threatens to relocate his branch, prompting the Heavenly Dao to agree that it should remain. Back in his courtyard, Lian Ruyue asks him to shelter the Holy Maiden Palace’s survivors 157.
Following the emergence of six new immortals, Su Chen prepares to depart the Azure Yang Realm. Su Nian and a contingent remain to guard it, while the main group follows him. The Source of All Spirits returns at the Human Immortal stage, and Su Chen stores the main palace inside his body before taking the travelers toward the Well of the Immortal Domain 161.
Establishment in the Immortal Realm
After arriving in the Immortal Realm, Su Chen declines an old Daoist’s invitation to travel together but exchanges communication stones with the Nine Phoenix Empress’s group. Commander Yuan and sixteen silver-armored soldiers arrive to inspect the ascenders before they leave the hall 165.
Su Chen subsequently refuses to join the Heavenly Derivation Sect, establishes the Eternal Imperial Palace, and directs Su Ting and the others to cultivate because their newly attained immortal cultivation is still weak by local standards 171 172.
He learns that the Source of All Spirits formerly reached the Ninth Heaven of the Immortal King Realm and arranges for his true body to recover in the Immortal Realm’s Land of Origin. When its Heavenly Dao attacks and refuses permission, Su Chen suppresses it and forces its agreement 173 174.
He also fulfills his earlier promise to improve Lian Ruyue and Lianxi’s cultivation technique. The Supreme Infinite Nine Mysterious Yin Scripture removes their affliction, increases their cultivation speed, and grants each eight powerful avatars 182.
Five Dragons Mountain and Wider Expansion
The Fire Dragon Mountain Lord and others recognize the Source of All Spirits and seek to possess him. During the ensuing confrontation, Su Chen establishes his own domain within the Immortal Realm and kills the Fire Dragon Mountain Lord and Bai Qingqian 187 193 194.
The surviving Five Dragons Mountain leadership later mobilizes nearly a thousand Five Dragons Guard members against the palace. Su Chen ultimately destroys Five Dragons Mountain, but refuses to let Lian Ruyue and Lianxi waste time collecting resources he considers worthless compared with what the palace already provides 201 219.
As hundreds of clan members become emperors and dozens become immortals, Su Chen’s lifespan continues increasing. He supports branches spreading into additional Mortal Realms, where conquest, descendants, and cultivation breakthroughs can all contribute to its continued growth 219 220.
He sends Su Ting and Su Shuang’er to the Myriad Daos Unsealing Empire, using established formation coordinates to let them travel without abandoning cultivation. He then detects the Heavenly Derivation Sect’s sect master observing the palace’s barrier, but chooses to return to the Little Bamboo Residence rather than confront him 220.
