Organization and Membership
Leadership and Succession
- Merit-based succession: Leadership was not hereditary. Anyone with sufficient talent and strength could be selected as the Hall’s holy son and trained as its next master 98.
- Cross-faction recruitment: The Hall recruited cultivators from clans and factions throughout the Azure Yang Realm rather than functioning as a single bloodline lineage 136.
- Elder hierarchy: Its administration included ten Attendant elders, elders responsible for particular duties, and other Peak Emperor Realm experts 86 102.
- Former master’s authority: Members knelt before Mystic Bone High Person as both ancestor and former hall master. He also presided over a major assembly while Mo Ketian was pursuing his breakthrough 97 101.

Conduct and Objectives
- Realm-wide supremacy: Mo Ketian intended to eliminate the Holy Maiden Palace and subdue the Su Imperial Clan, leaving the Hall as the Azure Yang Realm’s sole hegemon 98 107.
- Control rather than universal extermination: His broader plan was to enslave other forces and suppress their cultivation potential so that future top-tier experts could emerge only from the Hall 109.
- Sexual exploitation: Mo Ketian viewed the Holy Maiden Palace’s women as cultivation cauldrons. During the invasion, he demanded Lian Ruyue become his personal maidservant and threatened to force her disciples to serve Hall members sexually 79 110.
- Intimidation of smaller sects: Hall members exploited their regional dominance to bully weaker cultivators and kill over minor disagreements, while few victims dared demand justice 137.
- Coerced allegiance: Once the Hall gained two Pseudo-Immortals, second-tier factions within Holy Maiden Palace territory began offering allegiance to avoid being caught in the coming war 108.
Weapons and Defenses
- Myriad Phenomena Sword God Barrier — The headquarters’ Pseudo-Immortal-level protective formation. Its annual spirit-stone consumption could exhaust a mid-sized sect’s entire savings. Su Chen’s golden finger shattered its Sword God spirit and destroyed the array 134 140 146.
- Ten Thousand Beasts Pagoda Cauldron — Mo Ketian’s top-tier Emperor Weapon, decorated with ferocious beasts. It became an Immortal Weapon during his breakthrough and could manifest numerous beast phantoms 92 134 141.
- Vast Sun Meteor Hammer — Mo Ketian’s weapon, likewise transformed into an Immortal Weapon; its attacks manifested blazing meteors 134 141.
- Immaculate Immortal Sword fragment — A fragment obtained by Mo Ketian and initially concealed even from his master. He used it to break the Holy Maiden Palace’s protective barrier 111 112.
- Heaven-Burying Bone Sword — Mystic Bone High Person’s weapon, capable of producing a skeletal claw that intercepted Lian Ruyue’s sword 113.
- Immortal-Binding Rope — Used to capture Lian Ruyue after her temporary Pseudo-Immortal strength expired 114.
- Soul tablets and communication stones — The Hall detected Xue Luo and Xuan Jiu’s deaths through their shattered soul tablets. Its army also carried image stones linked to people at headquarters 80 146.
History
Longstanding Rivalry
The Heavenly Net Hall and Holy Maiden Palace held each other in check for hundreds of thousands of years, each ruling approximately half the Azure Yang Realm. Both organizations had produced true Immortals in the past. The prohibition against Immortals attacking mortal inhabitants prevented either side’s ascended predecessors from simply exterminating its rivals 79 99 109.
When rumors suggested the Holy Maiden Palace’s ancestor had died, a subordinate urged an immediate invasion. Mo Ketian instead prioritized the approaching Immortal Manor Secret Realm, believing its inheritance could decide the balance of power. He also suspected that the reported death might be bait for an ambush 73 79.
Conflict with the Su Imperial Clan
After investigators disappeared near a newly appeared palace in the Heavenly Emperor Mountain Range, Mo Ketian sent Xue Luo and Xuan Jiu to investigate, kill anyone they found, and seize any treasure. Su Ting killed both after their attempt to escape Su Yi’s Pupil Realm failed 73 76.
Their deaths brought the Hall into open conflict with the Su Imperial Clan. Mo Ketian accused the newcomers of invading the Azure Yang Realm and killing his elders; Su Ting answered that the elders had died after attempting murder themselves. The opening of the secret realm interrupted their confrontation 80.
Securing the Immortal Inheritance
Inside the secret realm, Mo Ketian temporarily cooperated with Su Ting and Lian Ruyue to kill a frost dragon guarding the Immaculate Immortal Hall. He and Lian Ruyue then attacked Su Ting, but their alliance failed to defeat him. Su Ting subsequently battered Mo Ketian through a month-long confrontation 92 95 96.
Mystic Bone High Person’s arrival secured the Hall’s opportunity. He expelled all outsiders from the inheritance site and directed his disciple to claim it, explaining that his own ruined body could no longer attain immortality. Afterward, the two agreed to postpone war until Mo Ketian became a Pseudo-Immortal 97 98 99.
Destruction of the Holy Maiden Palace
Twenty-one years after obtaining the inheritance, Mo Ketian reached the Pseudo-Immortal realm. The Hall mobilized its full army against the Holy Maiden Palace, with Mystic Bone High Person accompanying him 107 108.
Mo Ketian broke the palace’s defensive barrier using the Immaculate Immortal Sword fragment. Lian Ruyue temporarily resisted with Holy Heart power, but was captured when that power expired. The Hall’s two Pseudo-Immortals killed tens of thousands and suppressed the remaining defenders 111 112 114.
Hundreds of thousands of Holy Maiden Palace members then used Burn Blood to Exhaustion, sacrificing themselves to secure Lian Ruyue and Lianxi’s escape. Their survival denied Mo Ketian a complete victory and prompted an extensive pursuit 115 116 125.
Failed Invasion and Dissolution
The Hall next marched against the Su Imperial Clan. Its leaders discovered that their opponents possessed multiple Pseudo-Immortals, including the now-advanced Lian Ruyue. Mystic Bone High Person was grievously wounded, while Mo Ketian resorted to Immortal Descent 125 130 131 133 141.
Although Mo Ketian became a true Immortal, the Immortal Domain Prohibition initially prevented him from protecting his army against Lian Ruyue. He declared the Hall disbanded and argued that its former members’ connections implicated seventy or eighty percent of the realm’s factions. Lian Ruyue refused to accept dissolution as payment for the Holy Maiden Palace’s destruction 134 136.
Annihilation
When Mo Ketian found that his attacks were not immediately punished by the Heavenly Dao, he resumed the offensive. Even his Immortal Weapons failed to overcome the Su Imperial Clan’s renewable formation. As he prepared to retreat, Su Chen appeared and effortlessly forced him and his army to the ground 139 140 141 142 143.
Mo Ketian appealed to the Azure Yang Realm’s Heavenly Dao, but it destroyed his immortal body instead. After recognizing Su Chen’s strength, the Heavenly Dao withdrew and left the Hall to its fate 144 145.
Su Chen sent a golden finger across millions of miles to the Hall’s headquarters. It crushed the defensive formation, killed everyone inside, and left an immense pit. By the end of the confrontation, the headquarters, its inhabitants, and the entire expeditionary army had vanished from the Azure Yang Realm 145 146 149.
Legacy
- End of the old balance: The destruction of both longstanding hegemonic factions left the Su Imperial Clan recognized as the Azure Yang Realm’s dominant power 150 151.
- No surviving membership: Later searches failed to uncover even one surviving Heavenly Net Hall member 160.
- Collapse of its reputation: Once feared even in private conversation, the Hall became a subject of casual ridicule. Mo Ketian was remembered as the shortest-lived Immortal in the realm’s history 160.
