Roy’s crew battled Golden Lion Shiki, gathered new allies and research in Crystal Island, then challenged Roger and Whitebeard before setting course for Wano. The arc ended with the Ark Maxim reaching Wano’s waterfall as Roy planned to establish a base and cooperate with Kaido.

• Roy chose Raijin Island for training, where he and his companions fought Golden Lion Shiki until Garp’s arrival ended the battle.
• Roy led his crew to Crystal Island, where they fought Doflamingo, Moria, Vera, and Cipher Pol over Dr. Gracia and his research.
• Roy recruited Moria, Vera, and Dr. Gracia, then continued toward Whitebeard’s territory while Doflamingo retreated and vowed revenge.
• Roy’s crew reached the island where Roger and Whitebeard were fighting and joined the battle, with Roy, Bullet, and Hawk Eyes battling the two captains for three days.
