The stretch ended with the new recruits meeting committee members as Mari Watanabe sought ways to ease the divide between Course 1 and Course 2 students.

• Chiba Yeyou met Tatsuya Shiba, Miyuki Shiba, Erika Chiba, and Mizuki Shibata, then accepted Mayumi Saegusa’s invitation to join the Student Council as her secretary.
• Chiba Yeyou defeated Hanzou Gyoubushoujou Hattori in a mock battle, and the Student Council members investigated his powerful, CAD-free magic.
• Chiba Yeyou recommended Tatsuya Shiba and Erika Chiba for the Public Morals Committee, and Mayumi Saegusa and Mari Watanabe considered admitting Course 2 students to help address the school’s divisions.

• Chiba Yeyou and Erika Chiba broke up a dispute over club recruitment, and Mari Watanabe later questioned Yeyou’s forceful enforcement methods.
• Chiba Yeyou discussed the destructive and constructive uses of magic, then began adapting Tiffany’s CAD and promised to keep her Purple from overloading.
• After a masked attacker tried to probe Tatsuya Shiba, Chiba Yeyou learned Blanche was connected to Égalité and refused Hajime Tsukasa’s invitation to join the resistance.
• The Alliance of the Willing occupied the broadcasting room, and Tatsuya Shiba arranged Sayaka Mibu’s release while the Student Council prepared a public discussion on Course 2 students’ treatment.

• Tatsuya Shiba and his companions confronted Blanche at the library, where Sayaka Mibu admitted she had joined after misunderstanding Captain Tsukasa and Mari Watanabe.
• Chiba Yeyou tracked down Blanche’s factory hideout and destroyed it with Flame Hell, then Jumonji urged Mayumi Saegusa to pursue him.
• Mayumi Saegusa appointed Tatsuya Shiba and Chiba Yeyou as Nine Schools Competition technicians after they demonstrated their CAD-adjustment skills.
• Chiba Yeyou met Mikihiko Yoshida and learned about Mizuki Shibata’s Crystal Eyes, while Tatsuya Shiba completed his sustained flight magic.
• A car attack threatened the team’s bus, but Chiba Yeyou launched the vehicle into the sky and Tatsuya Shiba destroyed it with Material Burst.

After an attempt to sabotage Mari Watanabe’s race failed, First High School continued winning, and the arc left Third High School reassessing its chances against Tatsuya Shiba and Chiba Yeyou.

• Mari Watanabe won the Battle Board heat with help from Chiba Yeyou’s work, then invited him to join her family’s business after graduation, but he declined.
• Mayumi Saegusa won her events with Chiba Yeyou’s calibrated CADs, and he later helped Kanon Chiyoda defeat her opponent in Icicle Destruction.
• Chiba Yeyou took the arena in his school uniform and defeated Yamanaka with Quantum Shatter, which destroyed the ice pillars before they reached the ground.
