Speaking of his ability to revive, well... let's call it revival for now.
After five years of constantly exorcising cursed spirits and capturing pieces, Igarashi Amaha had long since unlocked all his extension cursed techniques.
Cursed technique: "Way of Resentment, Free of Worry."
Its core was the "General," and capturing pieces unlocked extension cursed techniques.
The unlocking order was five "Pawns," two "Knights," two "Cannons," two "Chariots," two "Elephants," and the final rampart, two "Advisors"!
Five "Pawns": already known;
Two "Knights": already known. The advanced ability increased the duration and range of the original ability, from five li and one second to ten li and two seconds. In other words, within ten li, as long as Igarashi Amaha didn't show off, he was unkillable.
No cooldown, moderate cursed energy consumption.
Two "Cannons": Piece Summons: "Director" came from this. The cannon-character totem behind him gathered the positive and negative energy in the air, ultimately forming an immensely powerful cursed energy cannon;
The two "Cannons" had two firing modes. The first was "Director," its form before advancement, while its advanced form was an area attack. By comparison, Igarashi Amaha still preferred a powerful single-target attack like "Director," so he rarely used the other technique.
No cooldown, high cursed energy consumption.
The ability of the two "Chariots" was what Toji Fushiguro had called revival. Put simply, the two "Chariots" were two clones of Igarashi Amaha. Each possessed ninety percent of the original's combat ability but no independent consciousness, following the original's commands instead. When fighting together, all three shared their vision and could swap places at any time without using "Knight."
As for why he didn't bring them out to fight despite such absurd abilities as shared vision and swapping positions, the reason was simple: if they were damaged, the recovery cooldown was long. The true ability of "Chariot" was to replace anything about the original under any circumstances, including injuries, missing limbs, and even a severed head. As long as Igarashi Amaha made the switch one second before his consciousness faded, he could "sacrifice the chariot to save the general"!
This was Igarashi Amaha's true trump card. Unless the damage was fatal, he would never choose to switch, because he only had two chances. Until the second clone had recovered, he would not use it lightly.
Cooldown: one calendar year. No cursed energy consumption, but it consumed a great deal of stamina.
After using it, he needed to consume a suitable amount of protein as soon as possible, or he would suffer temporary mental confusion. (This was currently his first time using it, and he did not know about this side effect.)
The two "Elephants" were quite simple: a seemingly bottomless cursed energy core inside Igarashi Amaha's body that supplied him with vast amounts of negative energy;
As for advancement, that required him to comprehend Reverse Cursed Technique. An advanced "Elephant" could produce another core, but instead of negative energy, it would generate positive energy. With both cores present, they could continuously supply Igarashi Amaha with cursed energy at any time, while using positive energy-Reverse Cursed Technique-to restore his body, forming a perpetual motion machine within him. Truly infinite cursed energy!
The two "Advisors," known as the final rampart, also required an understanding of Reverse Cursed Technique to advance. They were currently Igarashi Amaha's least-used extension cursed technique. Their ability resembled Satoru Gojo's Limitless, but while things slowed down the closer they came to Satoru Gojo, his simply blocked them. Once an attack exceeded a certain threshold, "Advisor" would break as well. However, by Igarashi Amaha's estimation, there seemed to be few attacks in this world capable of reaching that threshold. Satoru Gojo's "Hollow Purple" could count as one.
No cooldown, considerable cursed energy consumption.
At present, "Advisor" still needed to be activated manually, and with "Elephant" yet to advance, Igarashi Amaha did not want to waste cursed energy while taxing his brain as well.
Even Toji Fushiguro, the so-called Jujutsu Sorcerer Killer, could not stab him without him noticing. He truly felt no need to activate this thing.
He had already mastered every technique that extended from his base cursed technique, "Way of Resentment, Free of Worry." All he lacked now was Reverse Cursed Technique.
Oh, right, there was also the pinnacle of jujutsu sorcery: Domain Expansion!
"Ah, I really don't have a clue. How am I supposed to figure it out?" Igarashi Amaha dusted off his palms, lit a cigarette, and stood up from the tree root, scratching his head as he spoke helplessly.
Grrr~~~
Just then, his stomach growled in hungry protest. Igarashi Amaha gave another listless yawn. "Seriously, hungry and sleepy. It's all that damn monkey's fault, making me waste so much energy. At this hour, I can only see if there's anything to eat at Jujutsu High."
With that, he vanished from the spot, leaving behind the devastated landscape.
Inside Jujutsu High, a listless Igarashi Amaha pushed open the cafeteria doors and began searching for food with the last scrap of strength he had.
Dressed in rags, covered in blood, staggering around and rummaging for food like a homeless man, Igarashi Amaha completely failed to notice the three pairs of eyes staring at him in disbelief from behind.
"Fuck, are Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, and the others pigs? How did they eat everything?" Igarashi Amaha cursed weakly as he looked at the small, blood-streaked piece of raw meat that was all that remained in the entire refrigerator.
What he did not know was that the pigs he was talking about were staring at him from behind.
Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, and Shoko rapidly exchanged messages with their eyes.
"Holy shit, who beat Amaha up like that? He's not going to die, is he?"
"No. Aside from being hungry, he's in excellent physical condition."
"You're the doctor. Whatever you say."
"So what do we do now?"
"What do you mean, what do we do?! Don't tell me you really want to kill Amaha. Until we get to the bottom of this, I won't let you kill him!"
"Bullshit, of course not. I meant, should we get him something to eat?"
"Not me. Even if I'm not killing him, don't expect me to prepare food for a murderous maniac."
"Shoko, think of something."
"What am I supposed to do? Besides, can you two really beat him?"
"..."
Just as the three were at a loss over what to do, they witnessed an unbelievable sight.
Igarashi Amaha grabbed the piece of raw meat, still streaked with blood, in one hand and bit straight into it, mumbling through his mouthful, "It's been ages since I ate this. Still tastes just as disgusting." Thin trails of blood trickled from the corners of his mouth.
"Holy shit, Amaha's lost it. No matter how hungry he is, he can't eat that."
"Shoko, hurry and think of some-"
Before Satoru Gojo could finish conveying his message, Shoko walked straight up and yanked the raw meat from Igarashi Amaha's mouth.
"Holy shit, Shoko's hardcore!"
"Shoko's a badass!"
Dazed, Igarashi Amaha suddenly felt someone snatch the meat from his mouth. He focused his eyes, curled his lips into a grin, and said casually, "Yo, where'd this little delinquent come from? Copying other people and smoking at your age? I'm confiscating that."
With that, he pulled the candy cigarette from Shoko's mouth and stuck it into his own. Then, under the three's dumbfounded gazes, he took the lighter from his pocket and began lighting it.
