Throughout heaven and earth, I alone am the honored one.
Hollow Technique: "Hollow Purple"
Something was wrong.
The end.
The beginning.
"I don't do jobs that don't pay."
"That's what I'd normally say before walking away."
"But... there he was, an awakened user of Limitless. At this moment, he might already be the strongest sorcerer alive... no... there was still that guy. He just hadn't awakened yet. I could feel it. If he really did awaken... it didn't matter anymore."
"Maybe that was why I suddenly wanted to reject it all, to try to bring down the Zenin Clan that had rejected me, Jujutsu Society, and its pinnacle."
"To affirm myself, I twisted who I normally was. From that moment, I'd already lost."
"Hadn't I thrown away my pride long ago?"
"Heh. Respecting neither myself nor others-wasn't that the way of life I'd chosen?"
"But anyway, Igarashi Amaha, shouldn't you be showing up now?"
Tap!
Satoru Gojo descended from the sky and landed before Toji Fushiguro. His eyes were empty now, revealing nothing.
"Any last words?"
Toji Fushiguro touched the missing half of his body, struggling to lift the corner of his mouth slightly. "Wait a little longer..."
"Hmm?" Just as Satoru Gojo was wondering what he meant.
Whoosh!
Igarashi Amaha suddenly appeared beside him. With a smile on his lips, he looked at Toji Fushiguro and said, "Looks like we won't be eating together anymore."
"Yeah. Shame I won't get to see the real you."
Satoru Gojo stood to the side without asking any questions or interrupting, simply watching the two in silence.
"Leave your kid to Satoru. He'll treat them well."
"My kid?" The image of his wife holding their child flashed through his mind. A gentle smile unconsciously appeared on his lips as he slowly said to Satoru Gojo, "In another two or three years, my kid will be sold to the Zenin Clan. Do whatever you want."
"The Six Eyes. The strongest. Heh." With that, his eyes slowly closed, and he made no further sound.
However, neither Igarashi Amaha nor Satoru Gojo noticed that when Toji Fushiguro spoke those last words, he looked at each of them in turn, not just Satoru Gojo.
"Let's head back. I'll send someone to take care of his body." After saying that, Igarashi Amaha turned and left without looking back.
A faint ripple stirred in Satoru Gojo's eyes. "You left on purpose, didn't you?"
"What?"
"When we'd just entered Jujutsu High's barrier."
"Oh, that. Who knows? Heh."
The afternoon sunlight was particularly dazzling, illuminating everything in the world. Unfortunately, Satoru Gojo happened to block Igarashi Amaha completely, leaving him in shadow even beneath that blazing sun.
One year later.
June 21, 2007.
Tokyo Jujutsu High, Tokyo, Japan.
"Aaaaaah! You bastard! Bastard! That bastard Igarashi Amaha flicked cigarette ash into my potted plant again! Aaaaaah!"
Fifteen-year-old Riko Amanai, dressed in a Jujutsu High uniform, roared at her flowerpot full of cigarette ash!
"Where's that bastard? Where is he?! Aaaaaah!"
Just then, a short boy with dead-fish eyes, dressed in a Jujutsu High uniform, entered the first-year classroom.
Riko Amanai immediately grabbed him and questioned him. "Hey, Mirai, have you seen your big brother? You'd better tell me the truth."
A dangerous aura radiated from Riko Amanai, and both her fists were wreathed in Cursed Energy.
"Huh? He's probably either smoking or sleeping. Why ask me?" Mirai Oreki looked at the furious Riko Amanai in utter confusion.
"Not talking, huh? I'll find him myself." With that, Riko Amanai headed out to search, but just after stepping through the classroom door, she seemed to remember something. She doubled back and punched Mirai Oreki in the head.
Bam!
"In case I can't find him, you can take a punch for him first, since you're his little brother." Leaving those words behind, she left again.
Having been punched for absolutely no reason, Mirai Oreki rubbed his head blankly. "Is she nuts?"
Mirai Oreki, a fifteen-year-old first-year student at Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu High School, was a child Igarashi Amaha had picked up while smoking on the street years ago. Now that he had awakened his Cursed Technique, he had come to Japan to study. Of course, his main objective was still to find Igarashi Amaha. (Original setting.)
Cursed Technique: "Aman Punishment Spear." Effect: altered Incarnation, increased bone density, and allowed him to control his own bones at will.
With his increased bone density, however, Mirai Oreki mostly covered his fists in bone to strike. But a few months ago, because Igarashi Amaha mocked him as a jock who only knew how to punch, Mirai Oreki had begun focusing on developing precise bone control. Now, he had already started playing around with dual blades like his big brother.
Meanwhile, the furious Riko Amanai searched room by room for Igarashi Amaha. Finally, he heard a lively commotion in the third-year classroom.
"Come on, pay up, pay up."
"Damn it, Satoru must've seen my tiles with his Six Eyes and deliberately held back the two of circles. Otherwise, I would've won."
"Huh?! Don't accuse me! I could just as well say Nanami saw my tiles and deliberately held back the five of characters. Otherwise, how could that bastard Amaha have won?"
"Please act more mature. I don't play as underhandedly as you do."
"Shoko, pay up, pay up. Look how prompt Nanami is. What's wrong with all of you? Keep this up, and I won't let you join anymore."
"That would be wonderful. Weren't you the one who insisted on dragging me into this?"
Bang!!
The door was kicked open, and Riko Amanai stood with her hands on her hips, radiating a chill as she glared at Igarashi Amaha.
Igarashi Amaha looked at Riko Amanai's frosty face, then at everyone else's bewildered expressions, and thought, Surely she can't be here for me...
Although that was what he thought, his hands noticeably sped up as he collected the money.
"Riko-chan, what's wrong? Did Amaha flick cigarette ash into your flowerpot again?" Shoko teased from the side.
Startled by her words, Igarashi Amaha discreetly tugged at Satoru Gojo's and Suguru Geto's sleeves.
"Yeah, that bastard... Take this!" Riko Amanai launched a flying kick straight at him.
Without hesitation, Igarashi Amaha grabbed Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto by the arms and swung them in front of him.
Before either could react, a foot came into view. Like food threaded onto a skewer, both were struck in the stomach by the same kick.
Satoru Gojo, who kept Limitless active at all times, was fine, but Suguru Geto wasn't so lucky. That kick sent him flying to the back of the classroom.
At the sight, Riko Amanai broke into a cold sweat. "I'm done for. I'm going to get another lecture." Before Suguru Geto could get up, she turned and ran.
Igarashi Amaha did the same, hastily stuffing the money and cigarettes into his pockets before running outside with Riko Amanai.
The two blamed each other as they ran.
"Are you a fucking idiot? You actually kicked!"
"Who knew you'd use Geto-senpai as a shield?"
"So you're saying it's fine to kick me?"
"Why wouldn't it be? You spend all day doing nothing, Jujutsu High's number-one loafer. All you do is go around wrecking things."
Please send anything you can. I'd be endlessly grateful.
