After Igarashi Amaha helped bring much of Europe under the control of the Aoki Financial Group and the Director's Church, he joined Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto in Japan to recruit the new Jujutsu High students. The three began sizing up the students and discussing which ones to win over.

• Igarashi Amaha, Satoru Gojo, and Suguru Geto took control of political and jujutsu institutions across Europe through the Aoki Financial Group and the Director's Church.
• The Director's Church established a Jujutsu High in Japan to nurture new sorcerers, while Igarashi Amaha continued searching for Brain.

Igarashi Amaha searched for someone, then joined Satoru Gojo and the Tokyo Jujutsu High students as Yuta Okkotsu arrived to begin school. The chapter ended with Panda, Maki, and Toge Inumaki suddenly surrounding Yuta with a naginata at his throat.

Yuta Okkotsu arrived at Tokyo Jujutsu High, where Satoru Gojo introduced him to the students and teachers before pairing him with Maki for a curse mission. As Maki discovered Yuta was registered as Special Grade, Rika appeared inside the Curtain, while Satoru Gojo and Igarashi Amaha watched from outside.

• Masamichi Yaga, Suguru Geto, Kento Nanami, and Satoru Gojo discussed the mass deaths and the lack of leads on the attacks.

• Shujun, Niulang, and Hu Dawang descended through the Curtain and landed between the Jujutsu Sorcerers and the Cursed Spirits.
• Shujun used his Cursed Technique, Chess and Card Games, to silence and restrict everyone before ordering the Cursed Spirits to die peacefully.
