Hu Xiaozi fought Mahito while Jiezhu battled Hanami, and his templates let him overwhelm Mahito without dealing lasting damage. The chapter ended with Mahito still dangerous and eager to learn about Hu Xiaozi’s techniques.

Jogo overwhelmed Jiezhu and fought Shoulong, who pushed himself to protect the egg containing Igarashi Amaha. A flashback revealed that Igarashi Amaha had warned Shoulong and Shujun to guard him if his Cursed Technique Engraving’s transformation left him unable to act.

Shoulong used a sudden shift in gravity to smash Jogo into a wall, but Jogo survived and incapacitated him. biubiu Rabbit defeated Hanami and began fighting Jogo, whose arm was shattered by Rabbit’s Tremor technique as Jogo tried to counter him with flames and fire insects.

• Shoulong used extreme speed and a sudden increase in his weight to slam Jogo into a building wall, then collapsed from the strain.
• Jogo emerged from the wall with much of his face damaged, grabbed Shoulong, and tossed him aside unconscious and charred.
• biubiu Rabbit battered Hanami with his fists, shattered Hanami’s face, and left Hanami unconscious.
• biubiu Rabbit drew a sword from his Mysterious Vortex and attacked Jogo, who raised the surrounding temperature and met his blade aura with flames.

As Igarashi Amaha completed his transformation inside the black egg, biubiu Rabbit faced four powerful enemies alone and sent Hu Xiaozi to find Satoru Gojo. The egg shattered, and Igarashi Amaha emerged with a black dragon circling him.

• biubiu Rabbit told Hu Xiaozi to get Satoru Gojo while he held off Aoki, Jogo, and the other Cursed Spirits.
• biubiu Rabbit expanded his domain against the four enemies, and Hu Xiaozi rushed toward Satoru Gojo’s combat zone.

Igarashi Amaha sent biubiu Rabbit away with Kenjaku’s brain and Aoki’s corpse, then challenged Hajime Kashimo to hand-to-hand combat. He overwhelmed Kashimo with a barrage of punches, but Kashimo recovered and resumed attacking.

Hajime Kashimo lost to Igarashi Amaha and welcomed the ending he had always wished for. The story then shifted to May 16, 2018, where Igarashi Amaha, Satoru Gojo, and Suguru Geto bickered before heading out to visit Maki and the others.

Igarashi Amaha, Satoru Gojo, and Suguru Geto were caught fighting in the hallway and were punished by Masamichi Yaga. Elsewhere, Kenjaku met with Sendai’s Four Heavenly Kings as they prepared their next plan.

• Igarashi Amaha, Satoru Gojo, and Suguru Geto wrestled and traded insults until Shoko warned them that Masamichi Yaga was coming.
• The three refused to let one another go, and Masamichi Yaga arrived and beat them for their behavior.
• Igarashi Amaha’s respect for Masamichi Yaga was described, as Yaga had long handled the work of the Director’s Church and cleaned up after the students.
• At an underground casino, Kenjaku and Ryu Ishigori discussed Igarashi Amaha’s absence from Hua Capital and the lack of clues leading to them.

The chapter then shifted to a hospital in Sendai City, where Yuji was urged to help others and told he must die surrounded by others.

Megumi Fushiguro and Yuji Itadori fought their way through Sendai Third High School to rescue Yuji’s upperclassmen and recover Ryomen Sukuna’s Finger. After a stronger cursed spirit struck Megumi down, Yuji was left facing the danger without him.

• Megumi Fushiguro discovered the weather shelter was empty and told his teacher that Ryomen Sukuna’s Finger was missing.
• At Sendai Third High School, Megumi summoned the Divine Dogs to fight the curses while Yuji Itadori waited outside and resolved to save the people inside.
• Yuji crashed through a window, injured the curse holding his upperclassmen, and helped Megumi and the Divine Dogs defeat it.
• Yuji rescued Sasaki and handed Megumi Sukuna’s Finger, which Megumi identified as a Special Grade Cursed Object.
• A much larger cursed spirit attacked, shoved Yuji aside, and badly injured Megumi before chasing him onto the rooftop.

Yuji Itadori swallowed Sukuna's Finger and briefly became Sukuna, but managed to suppress him. Igarashi Amaha arrived, let Sukuna take control again, and revealed a power that made Sukuna recognize him as a natural enemy.

• Yuji Itadori swallowed Sukuna's Finger and exorcised the cursed spirit after Sukuna took over his body.
• Yuji Itadori regained control, and Megumi Fushiguro realized he could suppress Sukuna.
• Igarashi Amaha appeared and explained he had watched the fight while playing cards with Satoru and Geto.
• Igarashi Amaha asked Yuji Itadori to let Sukuna out, then overwhelmed Sukuna with his cursed energy.
• Igarashi Amaha used a slash resembling Sukuna's Dismantle and crushed it in his hand, leading Sukuna to recognize him as a natural enemy.

Igarashi Amaha suppressed Sukuna, left Yuji Itadori in Satoru Gojo’s care, and let Megumi Fushiguro explain what had happened. Gojo told Yuji he was considered sentenced to death as Sukuna’s vessel, then offered him a chance to become a student and consume the remaining fingers.

• Igarashi Amaha suppressed Sukuna before Sukuna could learn his name, then made Yuji Itadori fall asleep.
• Megumi Fushiguro confirmed Yuji was alive, and Igarashi Amaha left the rooftop after telling Satoru Gojo to decide Yuji’s fate.

Satoru Gojo recruited Yuji Itadori to Jujutsu High, and the first-years met their final teacher, Igarashi Amaha. Amaha took Nobara Kugisaki as his student and announced he would soon bring back a new student named Hiromi Higuruma.

• Half a month later, Igarashi Amaha appeared behind Nobara Kugisaki, took her hammer and nails, and dodged her Straw Doll Jujutsu attack.

• Megumi Fushiguro explained Cursed Speech to Nobara Kugisaki as Amaha invited Sukuna to fight.

Igarashi Amaha battled Sukuna at Eishu Juvenile Detention Center, destroyed the building, and left the students unharmed. The next day, the second-year students met Yuji Itadori, and Amaha visited a lawyer.

• Igarashi Amaha used his shikigami Dragon while fighting Sukuna, who recovered a finger from the cursed spirit and challenged him again.

• Higuruma activated Deadly Sentencing and brought Amaha into a courtroom domain with Judgeman.
• Judgeman accused Amaha of killing eighty-two villagers in Kitano Village in 2000, and Higuruma explained the trial’s rules.
• Amaha admitted to the killings, prompting Judgeman to deliver a guilty verdict, confiscation, and the death penalty.

• Hiromi Higuruma counted Amaha’s techniques before suddenly stabbing him in the chest with the Executioner’s Sword.
• Hiromi Higuruma condemned Amaha’s arrogance, then drove the sword through his skull while denouncing humanity and justice.
• Hiromi Higuruma woke on the couch with no blood on his hands and found the surveillance equipment and computer restored.

Mirai Oreki returned to Jujutsu High and drove off Mai and Aoi Todo after they insulted Yuji, warning them to tell Principal Gakuganji to leave his juniors alone. Meanwhile, Igarashi Amaha confronted Hiromi Higuruma in a law office and questioned whether Higuruma had ever been capable of fighting him.

• Panda, Maki Zenin, and Toge Inumaki discussed the Kyoto principal's visit and worried that Mai and Aoi Todo might provoke the first-years.
• Mai and Aoi Todo confronted Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki, insulted Yuji as a monster, and criticized the students for replacing the older sorcerers in the Goodwill Event.
