Haruma warned Fugaku that the Uchiha Clan would be massacred and began changing its course by redirecting its police force, raising money, and manipulating Danzo’s suspicions. As Shisui returned and Itachi’s divided loyalties came into view, Haruma strengthened himself by binding One-Tail and buying new techniques.

• Haruma revealed his Mangekyō Sharingan to Fugaku and showed him a vision of the Uchiha massacre, then persuaded him to remain clan head while taking Haruma’s advice.
• Haruma told Fugaku to gradually transfer Uchiha positions in the Konoha Military Police Force to other clans and raise money, while Fugaku curbed Setsuna’s covert faction.
• Haruma revealed that Shisui was alive and recovering in his home, and Mikoto replaced Shisui’s eyes while Fugaku and Haruma planned the clan’s next moves.

Haruma and Seiten manipulated Konoha’s crisis to weaken the village’s leaders, protect the Uchiha Clan, and set Itachi on a path into Akatsuki. The arc ended with Seiten warning Itachi about Akatsuki’s plans as Fugaku and Shisui prepared to operate beyond the village.

• Haruma met Itachi and explained that he wanted the Uchiha Clan to survive peacefully, while Sarutobi investigated its finances and ordered surveillance on Danzo and the clan.
• Fugaku and Haruma exposed Orochimaru’s underground laboratory, and Haruma confronted Orochimaru before the destroyed bases and their victims provoked a crisis between Konoha’s leadership and its clans.
• Haruma helped arrange a clash between Itachi and the Hawk Faction, where Itachi awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan and killed Setsuna before Sarutobi intervened.
• Seiten stole Konoha’s secret scrolls and planted evidence in Root, leading Sarutobi to confront Danzo and imprison him as the village’s clans demanded answers.
• Seiten recruited Yamanaka Fū and Aburame Torune to free Danzo, fought the Anbu during the prison break, and watched Sarutobi declare Danzo and Itachi missing-nin.

Haruma took Danzo’s place, built up Root and his Uchiha allies, and recruited Kakuzu and Orochimaru through deals. He then attacked Kirigakure under the guise of Hashirama and Madara, defeated Yagura, and claimed he had come to free the Mizukage from genjutsu.

• Haruma confronted Sarutobi over the Uchiha’s treatment, then killed Danzo at the daimyo’s residence and disguised himself as Danzo to return to Konoha.
• Haruma defeated Kakuzu, recruited him into his plans, and used the daimyo’s order to reclaim Root while placing Uchiha ninja under his command.
• Haruma upgraded his Mangekyō Sharingan and bloodline, clashed with Sarutobi over the Uchiha shops, and decided to seek Orochimaru’s cooperation before traveling to Kirigakure.
• Haruma offered Orochimaru powerful techniques and bloodlines for money or new jutsu, then set out with Shisui toward Kirigakure.
• Haruma and Shisui attacked Kirigakure disguised as Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha, overcoming Zabuza, Kisame, and the village’s forces.
• Haruma’s Susanoo struck Yagura and detonated his Tailed Beast Ball, leaving the Fourth Mizukage unconscious as Kirigakure’s ninja watched.

Haruma established the Great Tycoon Limited Company in Kirigakure, drew the Uchiha Clan out of Konoha, and took control of Sunagakure through Fugaku. Years later, he brought his Kirigakure team to the Land of Waves and arrived in Konoha to enter the Chunin Exams.

• Haruma seized control of Kirigakure, abolished the Blood Mist Policy, and reorganized the village as the Great Tycoon Limited Company, assigning Mei Terumi, Ao, Zabuza, Yagura, Suigetsu, and Kimimaro new roles.
• Haruma recruited Kimimaro, prepared Haku and the others for training, and returned toward Konoha after making Kirigakure safer and establishing the company’s operations.
• Haruma abandoned his plan to attack Konoha and helped Fugaku lead the Uchiha Clan out of the village, defeating Sarutobi’s forces and escaping with Fugaku.
• Haruma killed Rasa, impersonated him, and used Fugaku’s Mangekyō Genjutsu to place Sunagakure’s senior officials under control, then left Fugaku as the village’s new manager.
• Haruma brought Shisui and Sasuke to the Land of Whirlpools, where the company expanded its missions and bridge project, and later assembled a team to compete in Konoha’s Chunin Exams.
• Haruma’s group traveled to the Land of Waves to collect Gato’s overdue payments, where they fought rogue ninja alongside Kakashi’s team and Zabuza killed Gato.
• Haruma invited Kakashi’s group to travel with the Kirigakure Genin, and both groups arrived in Konoha as Naruto vowed to defeat Sasuke in the exams.
