"But the Saiken hasn't woken up yet, looks like I'll have to go back to my own world first."
Didaze pondered.
He already had a general understanding of what the Dragon Vein crossing was all about.
Normally, time flows at the same rate on both sides, but Didaze can extend this time indefinitely until it almost stops.
In other words, after Didaze returns to his original world, he can choose to infinitely extend the flow of time for both sides. What happens to Didaze in one year might only happen to one day in the other world.
However, Didaze only found out recently, when he was almost finished refining it, and the time that had already passed could not be adjusted.
"It's been almost a year since I've been back. I wonder how the original world is doing."
Didaze sighed inwardly.
He planned to return once these people began integrating the coalition forces.
It's time for the original world to be unified.
He could feel the Six-Tails within him about to awaken.
He could absorb another Kekkei Genkai in the original world and master it to perfection, so that he would have enough power to seize the Ten-Tails during the Fourth Shinobi World War.
Going there now would be too hasty, because he felt he might not be able to suppress Madara Uchiha.
After acquiring Wood Release, Madara Uchiha's strength was arguably the strongest below the Six Paths level, and Didaze really wasn't confident he could defeat him.
As for Gate of Death, the first thing to understand is that opening the Gate of Gate of Death means certain Gate of Death. The best he can achieve is to trade one life for one with Gate of Death Madara Uchiha.
Madara Uchiha's worst-case scenario would be a one-for-one trade with Gate of Death Guy.
Therefore, it is absolutely correct to say that Madara Uchiha was the strongest person below the Six Paths.
"Then there's another important matter: who will lead the Allied Shinobi Forces?"
Just as everyone was contemplating the Fourth Shinobi World War, the Fourth Raikage spoke up.
He was extremely envious of the position of Supreme Commander of the Allied Shinobi Forces.
After all, the Five Great Shinobi Villages aren't a monolithic entity. If he could become their commander, wouldn't that mean he'd be the strongest among the Five Great Shinobi Villages?
"I believe that the oldest and most experienced person is the most suitable to take on this role."
Ōnoki spoke first, volunteering himself directly.
" The Tsuchikage is mistaken. I believe the Hokage is the most suitable candidate."
Gaara immediately voiced his support for Tsunade.
Since he certainly wouldn't be able to become it himself, he might as well do Tsunade a favor.
The five people were arguing fiercely.
Didaze looked at the five people arguing amongst themselves, patted his head, and left.
After a long period of negotiation, Ōnoki was finally chosen as the commander-in-chief.
Because Didaze is the only one who has encountered Obito Uchiha so far, and the Chakra within his body is also astonishing, the Kage, though unwilling, had no choice but to let Ōnoki take the hit.
After all, even without Didaze, Ōnoki's strength and experience were enough to make him the commander.
"Old man, you seem to be in a good mood!"
Didaze looked at Ōnoki, who was grinning from ear to ear, and started teasing him.
"This is the supreme commander of the Five Great Shinobi Villages! Isn't it normal for me to be happy!"
Ōnoki rolled his eyes.
He was already thinking about how he should use his position as supreme commander to benefit Iwagakure after the Fourth Shinobi World War.
Didaze just smiled. It was a good thing that Ōnoki didn't know the intensity of the war; at least he wouldn't be so worried.
Meanwhile, ninjas began to gather in various villages in preparation for what Obito Uchiha called the Fourth Shinobi World War.
Didaze Temporary Residence
"It's time to go back."
Didaze returned to the village and to his temporary residence, then summoned the Dragon Vein to return to his original timeline.
After Didaze left, the world seemed to slow down.
Didaze adjusted the time to 365:1.
In other words, a year in his world is only one day here.
Second half of Konoha Year 49
Rōran
Didaze appeared where he had left off.
"You're back..."
Didaze was somewhat moved.
"How did someone suddenly appear out of nowhere!"
"Is this a ghost?!"
The vendors nearby were so frightened by Didaze that they collapsed to the ground.
"It seems Sara is managing things well."
Didaze glanced at the place; when he left, it was a wasteland, but now it had transformed from a lifeless place into a vibrant one.
"It's time to go back to Iwagakure. Nanako must have been waiting for me for a long time..."
This year is also the year I'm getting married to Nanako.
Didaze and Nanako were engaged long ago, but she only came of age this year.
Iwagakure
"Elder, where did Master go...?"
Nanako, dressed in the vest of a Jonin from Iwagakure, rested her chin on her hands and asked Uzumaki Hiko a question.
"How many times have you asked that question? With your master's abilities, what could possibly happen to him? You're just worrying too much!"
Uzumaki Hiko couldn't help but tap Nanako's head and say something.
"I just couldn't help it..."
Nanako couldn't help but mutter.
"Master... it's been a year, I've missed you so much..."
Nanako stepped out of the Sealing Squad and stared blankly at the two birds in the tree.
In front of the window of Tsuchikage's office
"Huh? They even wrote something specifically to prevent me from breaking the glass?"
Didaze looked at the glass in front of him and saw a sign that clearly stated. " Didaze, do not break the glass."
"Um..."
Didaze simply pulled out Kunai and smashed the glass.
I couldn't help it, I simply couldn't help it.
He probably wouldn't have smashed it if nothing had been written down, but now he feels he'd be letting down the option of just smashing it if he didn't.
He, Didaze, will show Ōnoki through his actions that there are too many loopholes in his statement!
The glass doesn't have to be broken, and he doesn't have to be Didaze!
" Didaze, you bastard!"
Ōnoki's furious voice rang out!
"Hey-hey!"
Didaze climbed straight in through the window.
"Next time I'll leave you a special dog hole to crawl through."
Ōnoki said with a ferocious expression.
"Hey, old man, that's going too far! This is for the glass!"
Didaze pulled out one million taels and threw it on the table.
One million? Just for crashing into a window once?
Ōnoki's eyes twitched.
I must correct one thing you said!
Didaze's expression was serious.
"What, you mean this million is for ten times? A hundred times? Let me tell you, the glass in my office..."
"I smashed it with Kunai, not by hitting it. Please don't slander me!"
Didaze said righteously.
He didn't care about the money from the glass; what he cared about was that he had found a loophole in the rules.
He has plenty of money, why would he be stingy with a million?
" Didaze, you..."
Ōnoki was so angry at Didaze's thought process that he was speechless.
"Alright, alright, old man, don't be angry. Let me tell you what happened to me on this trip."
Didaze, seeing Ōnoki's face turn bright red, changed the subject.
