Gaiseresen and his group listened without raising any objections. In fact, Andrew's arrangement was quite reasonable; Gaiseresen and his group could easily handle the remaining five of the eight patriarchs.
Of course, they couldn't raise any objections, since Andrew alone dealt with both clan leaders, playing the most significant role. With greater strength and influence, he naturally had the authority to make decisions.
"If you want a decisive battle, that's simple. Let's go directly to the nearest Ashcroft Clan and set up a ring. I'm sure they'll accept!"
Finally, Andrew said.
Gaiseresen and the other five nodded in unison, all understanding that Andrew was right. If the Eight Great Clans could tolerate such a challenge, it would be a complete fantasy.
Andrew's lips twitched; his method was essentially the same as that of the Eight Great Clans of later generations.
Southeast of the Skyrite Mountains, squads of the Ashcroft Clan warriors patrolled the area. Not far away was the Barbary Clan from the Water Divine Plane; the two families' garrisons were adjacent, almost forming a single continuous area.
Ever since Andrew took the Soul-Devouring Rod, the Ancestor Nether Serpent has almost lost his mind, frantically searching for members of the Four Divine Beasts Clan every day while constantly inquiring about Andrew's whereabouts. Even now, with the other seven clan leaders ceasing their efforts to raid the Four Divine Beasts Clan, the Nether Serpent has not given up.
If he hadn't been unable to subdue the Four Divine Beasts Clan, the Nether Serpent would have even disregarded Beirut's ban and directly stormed into the Skyrite Mountains!
Just as the Nether Serpent went out, outside the Ashcroft Clan's residence, suddenly, a huge blade of light formed from Divine Power appeared. The crescent-shaped blade of light flew by and cut off a nearby mountain peak.
"Boom!"
A thousand-foot-long blade of light flashed, cleaving the mountain in two. The upper part of the blade plunged into the foot of the mountain, creating a tremendous roar. A huge platform formed on the mountainside. A flash of light appeared on the platform, revealing seven figures.
" Nether Serpent, an old friend has arrived! Why don't you come out and greet him!" Andrew's shouts echoed throughout the heavens and earth.
"Who dares to cause trouble for the Ashcroft Clan!" He was met with countless shouts from all around, followed by tens of thousands of Highgod surrounding the seven of them.
The commotion here was quickly discovered by the Barbary Clan.
"Go and tell the clan chief immediately!" the Barbary Clan spies reported immediately.
On the platform halfway up the mountain, a dozen or so men in black robes stood before Andrew and his group of seven. These men were not weak in bearing; they were none other than the elders of the Nether Serpent Clan. The elder at the head of the group had a withered face and graying white hair.
"They are the four patriarchs of the Four Divine Beasts Clan!" The old man quickly recognized the identities of Gaiseresen and the others, and while he was shocked, he confirmed them again.
"There's no mistake. These four are the four clan leaders. The one wearing the mask is the Grand Elder of the Azure Dragon Clan. Of the remaining two, one is the Lord of the Bloodflame Prefecture, and who is the other? Judging from his aura, he should also be an Asura expert. But why would such an expert join the Four Divine Beasts Clan!"
The more the old man looked, the more horrified he became, and his hands and feet trembled slightly. Behind him, more than ten elders were in the same state.
"Seven Asura and the patriarchs of the Four Divine Beasts Clan have all been mobilized. Why is this happening?" the old man lamented in his heart.
Andrew used his divine sense to search the vicinity but did not find the Nether Serpent. However, he did find Barbary.
"Where has the Nether Serpent gone? Barbary is really interesting, is it trying to escape?"
In Andrew's consciousness, Barbary was flying rapidly northward. His Metallic Lifeform contained more than twenty Seven-Star Fiend, who were likely elders of the Barbary Clan.
Shaking his head, Andrew knew that Barbary had misunderstood. He thought that he and his group had come here to launch a sneak attack; otherwise, they wouldn't have fled with the family elders.
In reality, Andrew and his group came to issue a challenge.
Andrew reached out and picked up a huge rock. After waving his arm a few times, three large characters appeared on the rock. "Decisive Battle Platform." Then, Andrew placed the rock on the edge of the platform.
The elder of the Nether Serpent Clan gazed thoughtfully at the carvings on the boulder.
"Tell the Nether Serpent, along with several other clan leaders, that a year from now, the Four Divine Beasts Clan will engage in a decisive battle with the Eight Great Clans here to determine the outcome of the war!" With that, seven figures soared into the sky and vanished before everyone's eyes.
The old man's wrinkled face was somewhat bluish, and his eyes stared blankly in the northwest direction.
"A decisive battle? The Four Divine Beasts Clan are actually going to have a decisive battle?"
Not only him, but all the members of the Nether Serpent Clan were in an uproar, seemingly unable to believe their ears. Everyone was thinking that for the past two hundred years, the Four Divine Beasts Clan had been suppressed to the point of being unable to raise their heads. Previously, many people worried that the Four Divine Beasts Clan had decided to retreat to the Skyrite Mountains. However, no one expected that they would actually be going to have a decisive battle!
"Immediately notify the clan leader!" the old man whispered to his side. "This matter is of utmost importance. Send the message to the other seven clans."
"What do you think about the matter of the Four Divine Beasts Clan?" Three days later, all the patriarchs of the Eight Great Clans arrived at the Ashcroft Clan's residence. Each patriarch had a solemn and serious expression.
Edric spoke first, but no one responded.
"Everyone's thinking the same thing," Edric continued. " The Four Divine Beasts Clan have been keeping a low profile for years, but unexpectedly, they've come out with such grand gestures, actually planning a decisive battle! Hmph, in terms of strength, they've expended just as much energy as we have over the years. Against us, the Four Divine Beasts Clan have absolutely no chance!"
Wenner said, "If that's the case, how dare the Four Divine Beasts Clan challenge us to a decisive battle?"
"That's right, if the Four Divine Beasts Clan had that kind of strength, they wouldn't have endured it for so long!" Deen agreed.
The Nether Serpent chuckled sinisterly, "This isn't the work of the Four Divine Beasts Clan at all; it's entirely the idea of Andrew, the Lord of the Bloodflame Prefecture!"
Upon hearing his words, everyone suddenly understood. The Four Divine Beasts Clan alone certainly wouldn't dare to engage in a decisive battle, but if other powerful figures were to intervene, the situation would be different.
" Nether Serpent, you know best about Andrew of the Bloodflame Prefecture, why don't you tell us?" Edric said.
The Nether Serpent did not refuse. He knew that if he wanted to take back the Soul-Devouring Rod from Andrew, he would have to rely on the people present.
"Although Andrew's rise to power has been short, his strength is absolutely not to be underestimated." The Nether Serpent's eyes flashed a few times. "His physical body is extremely strong, far stronger than Blu of the Azure Dragon Clan, his soul is also very powerful, and he possesses Offensive Sovereign Artifact. It can be said that he has almost no weaknesses..."
" Nether Serpent, you're exaggerating. Is he really that powerful? I don't think even Leisjing has that kind of strength," Reynalds from the Infernal Realm said skeptically.
"Hmph, why would I lie for him?" The Nether Serpent's face darkened. "Moreover, that's not all. To find out his background, I specifically sent my men to Bloodflame Prefecture to investigate. Coincidentally, I discovered that Andrew has a powerful Asura under his command. This man is called Pusluo, Fire Element expert who once fought against a prefecture on the Bifu Continent. Fortunately, he doesn't have Sovereign Artifact, otherwise it would be even more troublesome."
"Without Sovereign Artifact, what good is it if he fuses five Fire Element profound Mysteries?" said Saint-Nair Nar, who also cultivated Fire Element Law. Of the eight clan leaders present, apart from Wenner of the Wind Element, the other seven had fused five profound Mysteries.
"Alright, what else is there to say? The Four Divine Beasts Clan have all put up their challenges at the door. If we back down, wouldn't we become a laughing stock!" Saint-Nair has always had a fiery temper.
"Alright, let's have a decisive battle!"
A year has passed quickly.
Nestled among the vast mountains, a huge rock stands on an inconspicuous platform, bearing three words: "Decisive Battle Platform ".
Because of these three words, this platform became the center of the entire Indigo Prefecture.
The news that the Four Divine Beasts Clan would engage in a decisive battle with the Eight Great Clans had been circulating for a year, and neither side had concealed it. With the decisive battle fast approaching, whether or not it was concealed was no longer important. Within the Indigo Prefecture, countless powerful figures gathered towards the Skyrite Mountains, and even some Seven-Star Fiend who had been cultivating in seclusion for countless years appeared.
This decisive battle is eagerly anticipated by everyone.
The two sides in the final battle are the Four Divine Beasts Clan, whose power over countless planes, and a behemoth composed of eight super forces. Either side is strong enough to dominate its own realm.
What a shocking outcome would be if such powerful forces clashed?
"Splash..."
As the first rays of sunlight streamed down in the morning, a black, Metallic Lifeform streaked across the sky. Those around it quickly made way for it.
"Get out of the way! It's the Indigo Prefecture Army!" someone exclaimed.
"Ah? Could it be that Lord Beirut has arrived?"
"That must be it. Even Lord Beirut wouldn't ignore a battle like this. It's really hard to imagine what battle, besides Planar War, could compare to today's decisive battle!"
Soon, the black Metallic Lifeform stopped, and hundreds of people flew out from it, with Beirut leading the way.
Beirut's sharp eyes swept around, a slight smile on his face.
"I never expected that Gaiseresen would make such a decision," he said softly.
Behind Beirut, a woman dressed in a black bodysuit said, "What can he do? But Lord, is that Andrew really that strong?"
Beirut chuckled, "Haha, his strength is far greater than you imagine." There was a hint of pride in his voice. In his view, Andrew's achievements today were partly due to his own efforts. How could Beirut not be pleased that a single drop of Azure Dragon Essence Blood had created this genius who surpassed countless planes?
