Background / History
Transmigration and Early Training
Andrew comes from twenty-first-century Earth, where he was a webnovel enthusiast particularly familiar with Coiling Dragon. At five, Janice’s geography lessons allow him to recognize his new world. It takes those first five years for him to put memories of his former family aside and fully accept his present loved ones 1.
Learning that it is the first year of the Yulan Calendar, Andrew initially takes comfort in the Yulan Empire’s protection under the High Priest. Nevertheless, he concludes that personal strength is essential. He chooses to cultivate both magic and martial arts, believing the combination will improve his eventual prospects of comprehending the laws and becoming a deity 1.
Howard teaches him physical cultivation, while Janice supplies his first magical instruction and her teacher’s spellbook. The family cannot afford academy training, and access to battle-qi manuals is restricted by noble monopolies. Andrew reassures his parents that Maple Forest Town’s quiet surroundings suit his cultivation 1 2.
The Keli Tribe and Flight from Maple Forest Town
At eight, Andrew accompanies Howard’s trading party to the Keli Tribe. There, he defeats Baru through leverage rather than brute strength. Clayde subsequently offers him entry into the Frey Clan, but Andrew refuses to exchange his freedom for access to cultivation resources. The Keli Tribe’s Grand Elder instead gives him a battle-qi manual through an agreement based on his future potential 3 4 5.
Andrew also identifies Matthews’s concealed hostility toward Howard. When Matthews makes a suspicious request, Andrew launches a preemptive attack against his four companions, killing Black Tiger, Eagle, Leopard, and Wild Wolf. He then attacks Matthews at home, loses two ribs to Bell’s kick, and cuts off Matthews’s left arm. Howard spares his former friend, prompting Andrew to persuade the family to flee that night 6 7.
The Keli Tribe welcomes the refugees. During a later hunt, Andrew saves Baru from an Iron-Armored Boar with an unexpectedly powerful fused strike. Investigating the result leads him to suspect that transmigration has altered his soul, although he initially accepts that the mutation explanation remains uncertain 8 11 12.
Mogan Forest and Return to Human Society
Andrew spends three years balancing his fire and lightning battle-qi, then enters Mogan Forest to overcome his next bottleneck. Sculpting produces a sudden insight into saber fundamentals, and battles against powerful beasts help him explore the application of strength 13 14 15 16.
He subdues the Windwing Tiger King, later called Golden Tiger, and helps Baru become a high-level warrior by fighting him in disguise. Before departing, Andrew thanks the First Elder and promises to aid the Keli Tribe whenever needed 17 18 19 20.
Returning through Maple Forest Town, Andrew kills Matthews’s followers and tortures Matthews for two hours before executing him. In White River City, Kate and Viscount Frey’s insults toward his family provoke another confrontation: Andrew forces them to crawl and lick food from the floor while Golden Tiger kills the arriving reinforcements 20 22 23.
Lefen City and the Imperial Capital
On the journey west, Andrew befriends Divine Grace Academy instructors Bandeni and Polite. Their sparring gives him new insight into weapon control, though his saber breaks during an exchange with Polite 25 26 28.
In Lefen City, Andrew investigates Milly’s claim that her mother has gone to sacrifice herself to a god. The city lord immobilizes the travelers with Darkness Magic and prepares to sacrifice Ling’er, Milly, and Aida. Andrew breaks free, kills him, and rescues the captives. He takes the lord’s spatial ring, which contains a fortune, Infernal Realm currency, disturbing corpses, and a statue associated with sacrifices for power 28 30 31.
In the imperial capital, Andrew purchases a former earl’s courtyard residence and pays for independent access to Divine Grace Academy’s library rather than enrolling as a student. He arranges Ling’er’s academy testing, seeks a suitable manual for Howard, and studies magic formations to protect the household and improve cultivation 33 34.
Magical Beast Training and Howard’s Rescue
After becoming an eighth-level warrior, Andrew obtains the Godslaying Saber and leaves for the Mountain Range of Magical Beasts. There, he develops the weapon-control path suited to his ordinary human physique and cultivates alongside Flame Wolf. He later contracts Golden Peng and returns home, where he falls in love with Han Yue at first sight 36 37 39 40 42.
News that Howard has been ambushed draws Andrew to Mithril City. He ultimately reaches the battlefield, rescues his father from attacking mercenaries, and helps suppress a wounded Wind Dragon. Killing the dragon allows him to fulfill his promise to supply Golden Tiger with a ninth-level wind-element magic core 43 44 45 46 47.
Imperial Protection and Four-Year Seclusion
Golden Tiger’s advancement draws powerful figures to the Lance residence. After Baird threatens his security, Andrew seeks imperial backing rather than depending on a senior expert’s occasional intervention. The emperor makes him an earl and guarantees the Lance family protection for ten years 47 49 50.
Following Meyer’s explanation of the Saint-level threshold, Andrew purchases advanced fire and lightning incantations and cultivates at home for four years. He emerges as a Peak Ninth-level Warrior and Level 9 Great Mage, but realizes that his prolonged focus on cultivation has left Han Yue neglected 50.
Defeating Baird and Marrying Han Yue
Andrew visits Divine Grace Academy to find Han Yue, only to learn from Bandeni that she and Ling’er are training in the Mountain Range of Magical Beasts under the protection of Bandeni’s Saint-level teacher. Taking a map, he sets out with Golden Peng. Roughly seven hundred li from the capital, Baird ambushes them, and Andrew discovers that his peak ninth-rank fusion battle-qi can meet a Saint-level warrior’s attack evenly 51.
During the encounter, Andrew forces back Baird’s suppression and slightly purifies his fusion battle-qi. After escaping, he reunites with Han Yue and Ling’er and spends several million gold coins on their purchases to appease their resentment 52 54.
In their subsequent formal duel, Andrew kills Baird with one strike of the Godslaying Saber, leaving his exterior intact while shattering his internal organs. The emperor fulfills his promise to make Andrew a duke upon reaching Saint-level. Andrew accepts out of gratitude for the empire’s protection of his family and asks the emperor to help propose to Han Yue 56 57.
Duke Daina approves the marriage, which is set for the fifteenth day of the eighth month in year eighteen of the Yulan Calendar. Baru attends the wedding, greatly delighting Andrew. Bart and Augustine, who had previously joined Baird in coercing him, present lavish gifts; Andrew accepts them and declines to pursue the matter further 57 58.
Founding the Lance Duchy
After his wedding, Andrew requests the Chaotic Territory as his ducal domain. He explains that the region will serve his cultivation and provide a better environment for his family, though his private plans also include searching for the Azure Dragon Ring 58 59.
Three months later, the family quietly leaves the imperial capital. Andrew goes ahead and unifies the region’s thirty-six cities within a month, killing the rulers of twenty-two cities and accepting the submission of the other fourteen. He reserves the authority to invest city lords, bans fighting within cities and private mining, and establishes an army and courts 59.
Andrew entrusts substantial administrative work to Ferreira and Angis. Under their direction, the duchy raises a hundred-thousand-strong army in less than three months, but its expense rapidly consumes ten million gold coins. Andrew consequently intensifies the search for a magicrystal vein. Golden Peng accompanies the search parties, and Andrew’s Saint-level soul allows Soul Transmission with his companion over five thousand li 59 60.
The Azure Dragon Ring and Beirut
Before leaving to search for the Azure Dragon Ring, Andrew secures the senior drunkard’s agreement to protect the Lance Duchy and his family. He avoids involving the Yulan Empire because the High Priest might recognize the damaged Sovereign Artifact’s value. Instead, he searches personally for Doehring Cowart, eventually encountering Hamlin in Drifting Cloud City and deciding to monitor him 61 62.
Andrew successfully finds the Azure Dragon Ring and returns to the duchy with Doehring Cowart, whom he appoints chief mage. With the magicrystal mine operating securely, he begins studying the ring in the miniature planar space 64.
His later experiments create Dragonblood Warriors. Andrew deliberately spreads word of this achievement to attract Beirut, knowing Beirut’s interest in awakening divine-beast bloodlines among his descendants. When Beirut appears, Andrew treats him with extreme caution and respect while concealing the full extent of his foreknowledge 68 69.
Andrew chooses Azure Dragon essence blood because he hopes its time-related innate ability will provide a route toward studying the Laws of Time and eventually escaping the universe’s constraints. Testing reveals perfect compatibility. Under Beirut’s protection, he assimilates a drop, undergoes a painful transformation of body and soul, and emerges capable of becoming a dragon. His body reaches Peak Saint-level, while his soul power rises by two hundred percent and approaches Deity-level. Beirut invites him to the Dark Forest after he becomes a deity 70.
Fatherhood, the Grassland Campaign, and Continental Travels
Andrew postpones having children until after obtaining the Azure Dragon bloodline so that his descendants can inherit it. A year after his transformation, Han Yue gives birth to their son, Herbert. Andrew is deeply affected by becoming a father for the first time across both lives 68 71.
Although he urges his family to cultivate, Andrew recognizes that his obsession has deprived them of his company. He resolves to travel the continent with Han Yue once Herbert is old enough to remain with Janice, partly to make up for the honeymoon they never properly enjoyed 71.
Concerned that the expanding Muhan Tribe will eventually threaten the Lance Duchy, Andrew rejects Baru’s warning and attacks preemptively. He kills a Saint-level warrior with one punch and arranges to confront the grassland powers at Moon Lake. A hundred thousand cavalry and fifteen Saint-level experts assemble there under Doge 72.
During the fighting, Andrew develops his comprehension of the fire and lightning Mysteries. He kills more than ten thousand elite cavalry in fifteen minutes and later destroys ten surrounding Saint-level warriors in a single rapid sequence. The Yulan Empire exploits the resulting upheaval to take control of the Far East Prairie, and the emperor orders a small city built for the Keli Tribe as a gesture toward Andrew 74 75 76.
When Herbert turns one, Andrew leaves him with Janice and begins traveling with Han Yue, first heading toward the Northern Region Duchy. His study of individual Mysteries advances more readily than their cross-element fusion, and he reaches the middle Saint realm after two further years 76 77.
Godhood and the Infernal Realm
Water becomes Andrew’s first element to reach godhood, and he reveals his Water Element Divine Clone to his astonished family. Beirut regards his soul mutation and multiple divine elements as potential foundations for opposing Augusta through future Sovereign cultivation 81 107.
After thirty years of seclusion and a breakthrough, Andrew prepares to enter the Infernal Realm. His original body can draw divine power from fifty meters beneath the Elemental Sea’s surface at roughly a hundred times an ordinary Lowgod’s absorption rate. His strengthened innate ability also gives him confidence in surviving against stronger deities 83.
In the Blackstone Mountains, Andrew mines and cultivates while developing techniques suited to divine combat. He creates the concentrated attack Origin, advances to Midgod, and uses millions of blackstone crystals to strengthen his body. After fifty years in the mine, he decides to leave despite the Silinman Clan’s restrictions and confronts Baitelaimu for a map of the Kalosha Continent 85 86 87.
Andrew subsequently travels through repeated bandit attacks to White Mastiff City. The Silinman Clan later intercepts him and demands eternal allegiance. He refuses, kills more than thirty clan warriors, and fights the Seven-Star Fiend Kepulang Silinman, whose attacks initially fail to injure him. To avoid risking his still-Lowgod Godslaying Saber in this battle, Andrew employs a Highgod Artifact longsword 88 93 94.
His original body and lightning and fire Divine Clones roam the Infernal Realm, while his Water Divine Clone remains on the Yulan Continent with his family. After becoming a true mutated Water Element divine beast, water surpasses lightning and fire as his strongest cultivation talent 97.
Emperor Wing City, the Amethyst Mountains, and Sovereign Zijing
Andrew challenges the Emperor Wing Fiend in Emperor Wing City. The fight exposes shortcomings in his speed, divine power, and soul defense. In Dragonform, Andrew seizes the Purple Moon Disc, but a Soul Attack probes the damaged Azure Dragon Ring, locates its gap, and reaches toward his golden dragon soul 99 100.
The encounter ultimately becomes an opportunity. After enduring the Emperor Wing Fiend’s Sword Ki Explosion and hearing his explanation of soul attacks, Andrew gains an initial understanding of the Fire Element’s Soul Attack mystery through three years of seclusion. He also meets Bernistan, a member of the Four Divine Beasts Clan who recognizes him as an elder and urges him to aid the clan 102.
Fifty years of cultivation and amethyst refinement greatly strengthen Andrew’s soul and advance his understanding of lightning and fire. His Water Divine Clone becomes a Highgod first, followed by his lightning and fire clones 106 107.
When Leisjing attacks Bernistan for mocking him, Andrew intervenes and suffers severe injuries protecting his companion. Impressed by Andrew, Leisjing brings him to Sovereign Zijing. She explains that she has watched him since his arrival in the Amethyst Mountains, welcomes him as a junior because of his Azure Dragon bloodline, and offers him the position of Sovereign’s Emissary 108.
Andrew later brings his family through Emperor Wing City, where they spend six months shopping and enjoying themselves. The Emperor Wing Fiend, Stuart, subsequently accompanies Andrew’s party with several subordinates 112.
Recruiting Pusluo and Becoming Bloodflame Prefect
Andrew kills Aliquin, using Dragon Roar to slow him while the Emperor Wing Fiend distracts the contract-bound Pusluo. Aliquin’s death frees Pusluo, but Pusluo rejects his agreement with Andrew and attacks. Andrew reveals his Sovereign Artifact, and their fierce clash in the Bies Volcano Range injures Andrew and buries Pusluo in lava 117.
Andrew eventually wins Pusluo’s agreement to serve for a hundred thousand years. Rather than immediately impose duties, he gives Pusluo a century of freedom and asks him to meet at Bloodflame Prefecture for Andrew’s planned Asura challenge. Andrew also gains a breakthrough in his Laws from their battle 118.
An upheaval in the Star Mist Sea gives Andrew a point of convergence for fusing Roundness and Shattering. Lightning tempering simultaneously strengthens his body. In the Bloodflame arena, he wins ten consecutive matches without difficulty and intervenes in the Lowgod challenge area to block Quasman’s God-Slaying Arrow with his body, saving Deenmike 122 125.
Andrew challenges Digelunsi for the prefecture. He initially tests his strength without Sovereign’s Might, destroys one of Digelunsi’s doubles, and then uses Sovereign’s Might to kill the remaining enemy despite Youyindier’s intervention. During the ensuing confrontation, Andrew gains a breakthrough connecting the Fire Element’s Soul Attack with Explosion 130 133 134.
After Youyindier withdraws, Andrew becomes Prefect of Bloodflame Prefecture and takes command of its army. Bloodflame City becomes his family’s new home in the Infernal Realm 134 135.
Securing Bloodflame City and Aiding the Four Divine Beasts Clan
Andrew initially feels little emotional connection to the Four Divine Beasts Clan despite recognizing his debt to the Azure Dragon’s legacy. He wishes to settle that obligation without allowing the clan’s burdens to determine his own path 96 139.
After learning that an outsider harassed Han Yue and Emily during his seclusion, Andrew orders a crackdown on Bloodflame City’s troublemakers. He assigns Pusluo to protect the Prefecture Lord’s castle, supplying a drop of Destruction Sovereign Power, while his commanders and prefectural soldiers pursue fugitives such as Dikor 143.
On his journey to the Four Divine Beasts Clan, Andrew overwhelms the Edric Clan elder Chabu and captures him as a meeting gift. He brings his juniors for bloodline baptism and explicitly commits to intervening in the war against the Eight Great Clans. His strength earns the respect of the four clan leaders 148 150 153.
Andrew joins an interception squad whose members initially underestimate him. He subsequently overwhelms Mosli and Kelo, kills Kelo with a finger strike, and fights Ashcroft Clan elders. His hostility also becomes personal through Bernistan’s death, which he invokes while confronting the clan’s warriors 155 157 159 160.
Near the Skyrite Mountains, Andrew confronts the Nether Serpent Patriarch and survives a joint attack by Nether Serpent and five thousand Ashcroft Highgods. He shatters their combined Soul Attack and kills more than a thousand warriors, while Nether Serpent finds himself unable to overcome Andrew’s material defense 162.
Youyindier later returns with the Bloodridge Army, claiming Orloff’s authority to demand Digelunsi’s corpse. Andrew refuses, protects Han Yue during the confrontation, and incapacitates Youyindier with a Soul Leech rather than killing him 170.
Andrew ultimately kills Wenner, Bolin, Edric, Saint-Nair, Reynalds, and Nether Serpent, ending the Eight Great Clans’ resistance. The Four Divine Beasts Clan wipes out the remaining forces over three days, after which Andrew returns to Bloodflame Prefecture with Pusluo 180.
The Planar War and Overgod Mission
Andrew sends his Lightning Divine Clone to search the Muya Continent for the Redbud Diamond. To preserve secrecy, he does not use his recognized subordinates; instead, he places bandits under Soul Control and orders them to search the Kodesen Mountains and Kelo Prefecture 180.
Although Beirut asks him to return to the Yulan Continent, Andrew postpones becoming a Sovereign until he can properly arrange his plans. He fears that Augusta would otherwise force him to remain confined to the Yulan Continent. He intends to participate in the Planar War, obtain Sovereign Artifacts for his family, and secure the objects needed for the Overgod Mission 180 181.
In the Planar Battlefield, Andrew fights the Wind Element Paragon Baie. Initially suppressed, he realizes that his extraordinary body, fused divine power, and cross-element Mysteries are not enough when his practical application of their power is inadequate. The battle becomes a means of correcting the weakness left by his unusually rapid and relatively smooth advancement 184 185.
Andrew eventually defeats Baie, severs his left arm, and obtains the Supreme God Token. He then helps the Lightning Element Divine Plane win the Planar War, collects the final five Commander Badges he needs, and asks Sovereign Zijing to forge two Material Defense Sovereign Artifacts for his family 189.
Andrew later overpowers Magnus and obtains the Crown of Life. He reveals his Sovereign identity and promises Magnus a hundred years of secrecy in exchange for surrendering the crown. Returning to the Yulan Continent, he summons the Life Overgod with the Nine Soul Pearls, Redbud Diamond, and Crown of Life, then requests that she refine the Godslaying Saber into an Overgod Artifact 195.
Sovereign Conflict and Transcendence
After acquiring the Overgod Artifact, Andrew discusses his plans with Beirut and travels through Spatial Turbulence toward the Lightning Element Divine Plane, targeting Covista’s Sovereign Spark. In a subsequent battle, he channels soul power through the Godslaying Saber, shatters Hurley’s javelin, and kills both Hurley and his escaping additional body 196 197.
Andrew eventually approaches Orloff about researching transcendence. To protect the secret of his transmigration, he claims that his knowledge derives from perceptions gained after his soul reached the universe’s limits. Demonstrating soul power at the pinnacle of the Soul Jindan level convinces Orloff to cooperate. Andrew then settles in the Celestial Realm 198.
Andrew becomes the first to cultivate sufficient strength to break through the boundaries of the Hongmeng World. He enters the Great Thousand World, which he recognizes as the setting containing Xiao Yan, Lin Dong, Mu Chen, and other figures familiar from his previous life, and begins a new journey there 199.
Appearance
- At eleven: Stands 1.7 meters tall, with a noticeably matured face and calm, wise eyes 13.
- Near seventeen: His bearing appears older than that of his peers; counting both lives, he considers himself about forty 50.
- Clothing: Wears a long azure robe after his four-year seclusion; wears close-fitting black clothes during Baird’s ambush 50 51.
- Dragon transformation: Gains a full dragon form after assimilating Azure Dragon essence blood; later also fights in a scaled dragonman form recognized as carrying Azure Dragon Clan origins 70 100.
- Divine Clones: His Water Divine Clone resembles him but is entirely blue-green apart from its skin 81.
- Soul form: His soul manifests as a golden dragon, growing from one hundred to two hundred meters during his Midgod cultivation in the Amethyst Mountains 106.
Personality
Andrew is unusually mature and self-directed from childhood. His experience across two lives helps him detect Matthews’s malice, while his knowledge of Coiling Dragon shapes his cultivation plans. He also recognizes gaps in that knowledge, seeking systematic study and exchanges with other fighters rather than relying entirely on foreknowledge 3 25 28.
Family is his strongest motivation. He blames his own weakness for their displacement, spends heavily on their safety and cultivation, and resolves to help them reach Saint-level so that they will not die while he lives indefinitely. His devotion nevertheless conflicts with his habits: long training absences upset Janice and Ling’er, and four years of seclusion strain his attention to Han Yue 8 13 16 34 50.
He values freedom as highly as strength and refuses the Frey Clan’s restrictive offer. Toward people who threaten his family, however, he can be calculating and exceptionally cruel, using ambushes, public humiliation, and torture. He acknowledges that his willingness to confront nobles depends on assessing their actual strength 5 6 20 23 24.
Andrew is patient about technical progress but relentless about seeking opportunities. He accepts that enlightenment cannot be forced, yet repeatedly enters dangerous battles when secluded cultivation stops answering his questions 15 36 40.
His later conduct distinguishes between enemies who must be eliminated and former opponents who no longer pose a meaningful threat. He forgives Bart and Augustine after Baird’s death, spares arena opponents who do not offend him, and does not pursue Digelunsi’s departing family 58 125 134.
Andrew keeps debts of gratitude and grudges separate. He accepts the emperor’s dukedom out of genuine appreciation, assists the Four Divine Beasts Clan because of the Azure Dragon legacy, and nevertheless resists allowing inherited obligations to replace his pursuit of challenges and transcendence 57 58 139 150.
His attachment to loved ones remains both a strength and a vulnerability. Fatherhood leaves him briefly dazed with joy, while guilt over his absences leads him to arrange travels with Han Yue. In the Infernal Realm, he treats wealth as expendable when it brings his family happiness and repeatedly seeks defensive artifacts and secure territory for them 71 76 112 181 189.
Despite his confidence, Andrew can recognize foundational shortcomings. His battle with Baie forces him to acknowledge that rapid cultivation and overwhelming natural advantages have left his practical use of the Mysteries behind his raw strength 185.
Abilities & Skills
Lightning–Fire Fusion Battle-qi
Andrew combines lightning- and fire-element battle-qi into an azure fused energy with exceptional offensive and explosive power 13 15 18.
- Stable fusion requires balancing the two attributes; developing fire battle-qi to match his lightning cultivation takes substantial effort 13.
- Fusion initially increases power roughly tenfold; by late eighth rank, Andrew describes it as more than ten times stronger than ordinary battle-qi 13 40.
- Can be channeled through saber strikes or driven into an opponent’s body through direct blows 15 20.
- Its existence is confirmed early, but Andrew initially treats soul mutation as a conjectural explanation. Later accounts identify him as a soul mutant, eventually specifying a three-element mutation 11 12 81 119 185.
- At the peak of the ninth rank, it can meet Baird’s Saint-level power evenly. Andrew also slightly purifies it while resisting Baird’s suppression 51 52.
Saber Techniques and Strength Control
Andrew’s preferred weapon is a saber, chosen to exploit fusion battle-qi’s explosive character 35.
- Tai chi principles: Redirects stronger opponents’ attacks through leverage and guided force 3 7.
- Complete mastery of fundamentals: Treats the saber as an extension of his body, improving precision and battle-qi containment 15.
- Wielding Something Light as Though It Were Heavy: Maximizes the effect of limited physical strength; becomes his chosen route toward momentum 39 40.
- Lightningfire Storm: Absorbs and grinds away the Windwing Tiger King’s wind blades 17.
- Lightning-Fire Eruption: Releases fusion battle-qi’s explosive power through rapid attacks in an extremely short interval 18.
- Former Saint-level threshold: Mastering weapon control did not itself grant Saint-level; he still needed an opportunity to touch upon the laws, a requirement he later overcame 40 50 58.
- Air-blade generation: With his strengthened body and Explosive Steps’ force-exertion principles, can create destructive wind blades through physical saber swings alone. These rival the Wind Element forbidden spell Wind Blade in power but dissipate after several dozen meters 74.
- Origin: Concentrates power at one point and releases it instantaneously. With a Highgod Artifact longsword, it creates a black point that distorts space and allows sword energy to appear above a distant opponent. Andrew finds the technique better suited to a sword than a saber 86 87 94.
- Later technical limitation: Despite his early strength-control achievements, his use of divine-level Mysteries initially fails to draw out his full potential. Baie’s pressure exposes this disparity and gives him a route to improve 185.
- Soul-guided Sovereign combat: Channels soul power along the Godslaying Saber and uses it to sense the Laws within Spatial Turbulence more clearly 197.
Explosive Steps
A movement technique used for combat positioning, travel, and cultivation 17 24 37.
- Can produce an afterimage when pushed to its limit 16.
- After becoming a high-level warrior, its rhythmic stimulation of battle-qi accelerates his cultivation 17.
- Improves its minimum movement distance from fifty meters to ten meters during one afternoon of practice 24.
- At eighth level, can travel several hundred li per hour at full power 37.
- After assimilating Azure Dragon essence blood, its bursting principles work with his powerful body even without battle-qi 74.
- At Saint-level, uses explosive midair movement to strike ten Saint-level warriors almost simultaneously 75.
- Reaches perfection after his fire and lightning profound mysteries fuse. Powered by fused divine power, its short-distance movement resembles teleportation, although it does not guarantee superiority in prolonged pursuit against speed specialists 85 87 100.
Fire and Lightning Magic
Andrew possesses exceptional affinity for both elements, though Janice can initially teach him only fire magic 2.
- Early spells include Fire Arrow, Sea of Flames, and fireballs used for illumination and warning 6 7 25.
- Temporarily sets aside deliberate fire-magic training to develop balanced dual-attribute battle-qi 12 13.
- Later purchases higher-level incantations for both elements and reaches Level 9 Great Mage strength 50.
- Saint-level spiritual power accelerates his potential progress but does not replace magical reserves or comprehension of the laws 50.
- Eventually advances beyond spell-based mortal cultivation to become a Highgod in both elements 107.
Sculpting and Magic Formations
- Saber sculpting: Develops a method inspired by Doehring Cowart’s Flat Blade Style. Carving boulders trains strength control and can increase spiritual energy, though its early effects are weaker than the original method 9.
- Artistic development: Produces sculptures of people, beasts, and landscapes; later replaces his residence’s existing sculptures with his own work 12 33.
- Defensive formations: Builds a seventh-level household array powered by six sixth-level magic cores, capable of briefly resisting a seventh-level expert 34.
- Cultivation formations: Creates elemental gathering arrays for Janice, himself, Flame Wolf, and Golden Tiger’s advancement 34 40 47.
Azure Dragon Bloodline and Physical Cultivation
Andrew’s original ordinary-human body cannot advance beyond sixth-level physical strength through mortal body training alone. Assimilating Azure Dragon essence blood removes this limitation and turns him into a mutated Water Element divine beast 14 39 70 97.
- Perfect compatibility: The testing device shows no reading because he is perfectly compatible with the essence blood, rather than incompatible 70.
- Transformation: Can become a dragon and return to human form; later uses a dragonman combat form 70 100.
- Enhanced body and soul: Initial assimilation raises his body to Peak Saint-level and increases soul power by two hundred percent 70.
- Water affinity: Water becomes his strongest elemental talent, surpassing his original lightning and fire affinities 97.
- Innate divine ability — Dragon Roar: Slows targets, creating openings against opponents such as Aliquin and Baie 117 189.
- Further bodily strengthening: Refines blackstone crystals and benefits from lightning tempering; the latter gives a documented ten-percent physical increase during his travels 87 122.
- Artifact-grade durability: Even without Dragonform, his hands reach the strength of peak Highgod Artifacts, although Digelunsi’s concentrated sword technique can still sever his fingers 130.
- Exceptional scaled defense: Nether Serpent can only crack a few scales, while Baie initially leaves white marks without using ultimate techniques 162 185.
- Bloodline research: Creates Dragonblood Warriors and deliberately publicizes the achievement to attract Beirut’s attention 68 69.
Divine Clones, Laws, and Fused Divine Power
Andrew cultivates Water, Lightning, and Fire Divine Clones. His Water Divine Clone initially stays with his family on the Yulan Continent while his original body and other clones explore the Infernal Realm 81 97.
- Water advancement: Water is his first element to attain godhood and his first to reach Highgod 81 107.
- Fire Mysteries: By his later Midgod stage, has comprehended Explosion, Fire Element, and the Fire Traveling Technique; has gained an initial grasp of Soul Attack and Space of Fire, with only the Fire Body Technique remaining beyond his grasp at that point 106.
- Lightning Mysteries: At the same stage, has mastered Lightning Element, the Lightning Traveling Technique, and Shattering, while gaining an initial grasp of Vibration and Heavy Blow 106.
- Cross-element fusion: Fuses fire and lightning Mysteries and later begins integrating Water’s Roundness with Shattering and Explosion 75 85 119 122 133.
- Fused divine power: Two-element fusion raises his Midgod divine power to a level comparable to Highgod power. Later, he possesses three-element fused divine power 107 181.
- Three-element soul mutation: Identified as the second three-element soul mutant since the universe’s creation and the first person to fuse Mysteries from three different Laws 185.
- Artifact nurturing: Uses three-element fused divine power to nurture Highgod Artifacts comparable to Divine Spark Weapons. In his own hands, their effectiveness can rival Sovereign Artifacts while suiting him more naturally 181.
- Willpower: As a Sovereign, exerts Willpower stronger than Magnus’s, allowing him to suppress the Paragon 195.
Soul Power, Soul Attacks, and Defense
Andrew’s soul is his most unusual and enduring advantage. He links its abnormalities to transmigration, although he cannot initially explain why it can fuse different elemental powers, perfectly assimilate Azure Dragon essence blood, and continue growing beyond ordinary expectations 106 119.
- Exceptional growth: His soul reaches Deity-level strength while he is still Saint-level and Asura-level strength while he remains a Midgod 106.
- Amethyst refinement: Fifty years of refinement increase his soul power tenfold without reaching its apparent limit 106.
- Accelerated comprehension: His strong soul greatly increases the speed at which he studies the Laws, though higher-level fusion remains difficult 106 165.
- Soul Attack mystery: Gains an initial grasp after his encounter with the Emperor Wing Fiend, then greatly strengthens its application by linking it with Explosion 102 134.
- Golden-beam soul attacks: Shatters a combined Ashcroft Soul Attack and kills more than a thousand Highgods; later kills Wenner with golden beams from his eyes 162 180.
- Soul Leech: Incapacitates Youyindier and leaves him in severe pain while allowing Andrew to keep him alive 170.
- Soul Control: Secretly controls bandits to search for the Redbud Diamond 180.
- Soul defense: Initially relies on the damaged Azure Dragon Ring, whose gap can be exploited. Later considers his own soul cultivation sufficient to withstand even a Paragon’s Soul Attack 100 150.
- Soul Jindan: Eventually reaches the pinnacle of the Soul Jindan level; demonstrating this power convinces Orloff to collaborate in transcendence research 198.
Governance and Strategic Planning
- Territorial administration: Unifies thirty-six cities, establishes laws, courts, and an army, and reserves noble investiture and mining authority to the Duke of Lance 59.
- Delegation: Employs Ferreira and Angis to build the Lance Duchy’s institutions and military, allowing him to focus increasingly on cultivation 59 71.
- Prefectural command: Takes control of the Bloodflame Prefecture Army after defeating Digelunsi and uses its protection to secure his family’s new home 134 135.
- Foreknowledge and secrecy: Uses knowledge from his previous life to pursue the Azure Dragon Ring, attract Beirut, and collect Overgod Mission objects, while concealing information that could provoke stronger powers 61 69 180 195.
- Transcendence research: Conceals his transmigration from Orloff while establishing a joint effort to investigate a path beyond their universe 198.
