Lin Rusong is Lin Hong’s eldest son. His mother had two children—Rusong and Lin Jiaxin—before her death. Lin Hong subsequently married twice more, having Lin Ruqiao and Lin Ruzhi with his second wife and Lin Jiasi with his third. Jiasi is particularly close to Rusong and stays at his home when visiting from abroad rather than returning to their father’s residence 16 24.
