Madara Uchiha reunited with Kushinadahime, and Shinsei persuaded them to join forces against the Ōtsutsuki Clan. After learning that they must lure Kinshiki and Urashiki away before confronting Isshiki in Takamagahara, Shinsei drew the two pursuers toward the planned battlefield.
Shinsei, Madara Uchiha, and Kushinadahime fought Kinshiki Otsutsuki and Urashiki Otsutsuki at the temple in Takamagahara. After Amaterasu’s black-flame trap failed, Kushinadahime sealed the Ōtsutsuki inside the temple, then let Amaterasu enter the barrier to fight them.
Shinsei and his allies defeated Kinshiki Otsutsuki and Urashiki Otsutsuki, learning that Isshiki could come to the planet within three years. Shinsei then left Shikkotsu Forest with Kaguya and their children, returning to his own time and space.
After a year away, Shinsei returned to Konoha with Kaguya and their infant sons, Hagoromo and Hamura. He reunited with Tsunade and decided to reveal the truth to the village, but still faced the difficult task of explaining his family to Hinata and Ino.
After returning to Konoha with Kaguya and their sons, Shinsei introduced his new family to his parents and faced Hinata and Ino, whose heartbreak left him unsure how to make amends. He ended the night at home, thinking about his responsibilities as Hokage and the work ahead.
After returning to Konoha, Shinsei remained Hokage and resolved to unify the Shinobi World so it could face the Ōtsutsuki together. At the Five Kage Summit in Konoha, he proposed a unified alliance and demonstrated that the other Kage could not resist him by force.
Five years later, Shinsei lived in seclusion with his family while Naruto prepared to become Hokage. Shinsei declined to attend Naruto’s inauguration but invited him to explore the stars after he left office, and Naruto agreed.
