Sasuke's entire bearing had changed, a sharp gleam in his eyes as he stared fixedly at Haku, who kept changing positions.
"Pew pew!" Haku threw another two senbon.
But this time, Sasuke shifted his feet and dodged them.
"Oh! My God, he actually dodged them completely. That's impossible!"
Sasuke straightened up, revealing that his eyes had actually become Sharingan just like Kakashi's.
"What! The Sharingan! So you have a kekkei genkai too. I'll have to get serious-oh, no, Boss said to beat you flat once your eyes awakened. I'm going all out!!!"
With that, Haku flew out of an ice mirror, six senbon in hand, and charged at Sasuke.
But Sasuke's eyes had already awakened, and he could now track Haku's movements perfectly. He immediately leaped right, his hands rapidly forming hand seals. "Rat, tiger, dog, ox, rabbit, tiger. Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!"
As he dodged, he spat out five small fireballs. Though launched later, they arrived first, and two struck Haku's body.
"What? Even his ninjutsu is this fast!"
Crack, crack.
But this was only an ice clone too.
"Can you still keep up now?"
Another figure shot out of a mirror on the other side, only this time, he was charging at Naruto.
"What, he's going for Naruto? Damn it!" Sasuke immediately rushed toward Naruto. "I hope I make it!"
Thwip, thwip, thwip. A mass of senbon struck Sasuke as he spread his arms, shielding Naruto beneath him while he himself was pierced like a hedgehog.
"Damn it. You're always... getting in the way..."
"Ah, Sasuke, you????" Naruto woke up and opened his eyes to find Sasuke covered in needles. He immediately understood what had happened.
"Why are you looking at me like that, you... super... ultimate... moron..."
"Y-you... why..." Naruto understood that Sasuke had done it to protect him.
"('ε`) Because I love you... Ahem, I don't know."
"Who asked you to butt in?!"
"I don't know either. My body just moved on its own." Sasuke slowly collapsed into Naruto's arms. "Naruto! I can't die. Not until I kill... that guyyy... I can't die!" With that, Sasuke lost consciousness.
"Sasuke, don't die!"
Haku straightened up. "He didn't hesitate in the face of my attack. He died for you. To protect someone important, he charged in despite knowing it was a trap. What an admirable ninja. This is your first time seeing a comrade die, isn't it? This is the way of the ninja."
"Shut up!" Naruto's temperament changed drastically. His hair stood on end, sharp fangs and claws grew, and an enormous amount of chakra surged from within him, making him look very much like a fox. "I'm going to kill you!"
"Such violent chakra. Has he awakened?" Haku felt an intense hatred rushing straight at him. "Still, what would happen if I pitted it against my nuclear bomb?"
"Sasuke-kun!" Sakura also slowly came to. Seeing Sasuke covered in needles, she broke down on the spot. "No waaay!"
Naruto stood up, the Nine-Tails chakra around him growing increasingly violent. He told Sakura, "Sakura, don't come in."
"O-okay." Sakura noticed what was different about Naruto, and a sense of foreboding welled up in her heart.
Haku threw over a dozen senbon, but Naruto easily blocked them all. "Impressive indeed. Then I won't hold back either. Try this."
Haku slowly walked out of an ice mirror, his hands rapidly forming seals. "Ice Release: Ice Dragon Bullet!"
"Sit upon the frozen heavens, Hyorinmaru!"
The Lord God: "??? Why did I just hear a skill from the neighboring plane?"
All the ice mirrors instantly gathered behind Haku and fused into an enormous ice dragon, which charged at Naruto.
Naruto felt an extremely powerful chill radiating from the ice dragon, and his expression grew grave.
"This is the Ice Dragon Bullet I created by combining Water Dragon Bullet with Cold Moon Frost Flower's ultra-low temperature. Can your demon fox chakra withstand it?"
Boom!
"Damn it! I'll smash you!" Naruto leaped forward, a thin demon fox cloak appearing around him.
The ice dragon swallowed Naruto outright, forming an enormous block of ice where he stood, preserving his punching pose.
"Narutooo!" Sakura screamed and rushed straight toward the ice, clenching her fists to smash it.
"It's no use!" Haku gestured, and a portion of the ice split off, transforming into two ice clones that intercepted Sakura with ice blades in hand. "In just two minutes, Naruto will die here."
"Damn it!" Sakura grew increasingly frantic, but she could not break through the ice clones' defensive line. "Hongshi-kun, where are you?!"
"Right here, right here!"
Hongshi's voice rang out from afar. Below the bridge, he came gliding rapidly over from the distance atop a ball of water.
Sakura had nearly been frantic enough to cry. When she saw Hongshi, she hurriedly shouted, "Quick! Naruto's frozen in ice! If we don't free him, he'll die!"
Hongshi changed his hand seals, and a pillar of water rose beneath his feet, lifting him onto the bridge, where he naturally saw how both fights were going.
Kakashi and Hieimon were covered in wounds from Zabuza's Demon Blade Style swordsmanship, barely holding on.
Meanwhile, Naruto was frozen, Sasuke lay dying on the ground, and Sakura was held up by two ice clones. The battle was going very badly.
"Now for my dazzling entrance! Shadow Clone Technique!"
With two pops, Hongshi created two shadow clones, which rode separate pillars of water toward Haku and Sasuke.
His real body went behind Zabuza. "Yo, Zabuza, why'd you switch to a saw?"
"Shut up!"
"Then let's begin! Your sword looks pretty powerful, so I'll put up some defenses. Ram, tiger, snake, boar. Earth Release: Hardening Technique."
Zabuza looked at Hongshi. "Don't you know perfectly well how my sword got broken???"
"Heh heh heh, brat, I'm going to attack you now."
"Come on, then. Kakashi-sensei, Hieimon, fall back first."
"Hongshi, be careful!"
Zabuza frantically signaled Hongshi with his eyes. "Bo... brat, I won't use my full strength against you."
Hongshi nodded too. "I know, I know."
Zabuza: "I really won't use my full strength against you."
Hongshi: "I know, I know, I know."
"Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet!"
"Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet!"
Elsewhere, Hongshi's shadow clone reached the ice block and shattered it with a single punch. Though protected by his demon fox cloak, Naruto had still been badly frozen. "C-cold... I'm freezing to death! Hongshi, beat him up!"
"Ice Release: Ice Seal!"
The scattered ice around Hongshi rose again and wrapped around him.
Hongshi moved too slowly and had no way to dodge, so he formed hand seals on the spot. "Try my ninjutsu. Water Release, Lightning Release: Lightning Water Dragon Bullet!"
Crackle, crackle! A water dragon rose behind Hongshi, and he released a large amount of lightning release chakra from his hands, winding it around the water dragon as it charged toward Haku.
"What! He can use two B-rank ninjutsu at the same time?!" Haku could only stop his attack. The ice around Hongshi lost control and all fell to the ground as Haku leaped backward, trying to dodge.
"Trying to run? Earth Release: Four-Pillar Pincer!" Hongshi formed seals again, and four stone pillars rose beneath Haku's feet, trapping him.
"Oh no! Ice Release: Ice Protective Wall!" An ice barrier enclosed Haku, protecting him inside.
Boom! Under Hongshi's deliberate control, the Lightning Water Dragon Bullet only just broke through the ice wall.
"You can actually use ninjutsu of three different natures at once. Just what kind of ninja are you?" Haku broke free of the stone pillars, his expression hidden beneath his mask, and hastily jumped over, since the water beneath his feet still held a large amount of lightning release chakra that would paralyze him.
As though he had made up his mind, Haku rapidly formed hand seals. This sequence was longer than any before it, with over twenty seals in all. "This is my strongest killing move. Ice Release: Ice Dragon Bullet Barrage!"
The water behind him rapidly froze, forming three enormous ice dragons, each a size larger than the previous one and radiating an even greater chill.
"Go!" The ice dragons charged at Hongshi.
What astonishing chakra reserves and control! Sakura was deeply shocked. He's just a kid our age. How can he be so strong?!
Hongshi nodded at Haku. "I'm going to use my final move! I'm going to use my final move! Ahem, I'm going to use my final move!"
"(╬•᷅д•᷄╬) Then fucking use it already!"
Sakura: "???"
Hongshi leaped high into the air. "Fire Style, Wind Release: Great Fire Wind Dragon Bullet!"
A fire dragon like an ordinary bridge, aided by the wind, reached such a high temperature that it melted part of the ice dragons before even touching them.
"What! Another combination ninjutsu?!"
Boom! The Great Fire Wind Dragon Bullet actually melted all three ice dragons and still had enough power left to continue charging toward Haku's position.
With another explosive boom, Haku was blasted away and landed where Zabuza was.
"Zabuza, this guy's too power... Σ(°Д°;???"
The battle on Zabuza's side was not going much better.
Zabuza had hacked so hard that even the Kubikiribōchō had snapped, yet he had still failed to defeat Hongshi's shadow clone. Now Kakashi had restrained him again, leaving him kneeling on one knee.
Kakashi held a kunai, breathing hard. "There's still one left! Hongshi, if we push a little harder, we can..."
"ZzzzZ."
"∑(❍ฺд❍ฺlll) Nani!"
"Master, stop sleeping!"
"Ah! Sorry, this guy's massage felt too good."
Zabuza: "Fuck your mother's goddamn cunt."
