Power Progression

Hongshi begins with fixed, overwhelmingly powerful attributes. His subsequent development centers on control, knowledge, and new techniques rather than successive cultivation realms or ninja promotions 1 4.

Starting Attributes

The system identifies D as ordinary-human level, C as genin, B as chunin, A as jonin, S as Kage, SS as Super Kage, and SSS as Six Paths. Hongshi informally calls the additional SSR category “invincible level” 1.

Background / History

Before entering the shinobi world, Hongshi receives treasure-chest rewards and shop vouchers from the Main God. His fear of pain drives him to prioritize defense when choosing chakra for his first furnace; dissatisfied with the resulting releases, he fuses them into Nuclear Release 1.

He is reborn with full awareness into an ordinary farming family in Konoha. His parents die during the Nine-Tails attack, leaving him in an orphanage. Unable to mold chakra normally while his body is still developing, he practices senjutsu instead. At three, he leaves the orphanage for his family’s former home to train more freely 2.

Hongshi grows up playing with the Konoha 12 and becomes particularly close to Hinata and Ino. By his Academy graduation, he deliberately conceals his abilities and fails the Clone Technique examination to preserve the events surrounding Naruto and the Scroll of Seals 2.

Appearance

• Build: Exceptionally muscular, with an iron-tower-like frame; described as two meters tall during the Chunin Exams 2 26.

Personality

Hongshi is irreverent, theatrical, and fond of hiding overwhelming strength behind apparent incompetence. He explicitly enjoys “playing the pig to eat the tiger,” repeatedly stages his own death, and borrows dramatic speeches and identities from other stories. His frequent sleeping is partly genuine—he cites nighttime training and boredom—and partly deliberate performance 3 4 5 19 24 117.

He wants peace rather than the Hokage’s position, although his preferred formulation is to impose “nuclear peace” on anyone who disrupts it. He also rejects the idea that powerful bloodlines alone determine a ninja’s potential, using Sakura’s development to challenge Tobirama’s assumptions 4 56 207.

His generosity as a teacher coexists with coercive and reckless behavior. He rescues children, invests heavily in his friends’ growth, and becomes genuinely furious when Yuhan is endangered; he also rewrites people’s wills and performs bodily experiments that leave their subjects angry or frightened 12 38 61 65 98.

Money, food, and admiration readily attract his attention. The prospect of a billion-ryo meteorite instantly revives his enthusiasm for travel, while being ignored by his companions makes him withdraw and sulk until they reassure him 117 164.

Hongshi’s unique chakra results from fusing two Kekkei Mōra-derived releases. Its destructive output makes restraint essential even when treating allies or practicing near Konoha 1 4 110.
